Oh well, no money.....but I got plenty of Weed!!!

Enjoying some Sour Tsunami 19% CBD 1% THC.
Nice taste, but a very strange high.
I am thinking that a blend of Sour Tsunami and a high THC strain like White widow could be blended to mitigate the anxious and paranoid feelings that high THC varieties give me.
Got it to try for pain relief and sleep....but need more testing.
Also have the AC/DC balanced THC/CBD strain.

Anybody else have any ideas why my solo is overheating towards the top of the unit ? it gets hot to the touch

One more thing I can think of is about the fact I live in Mexico and maybe the solo doesnt tolerate these electrical outlets ?

It's quite normal or the top part to get warm, hot even, there are 200C parts half an inch away. Just like the outside of your oven or toaster. Heating is fine, overheating could be a problem. Why do you say "overheating"?

IMO as long as you can touch it without saying nasty words you're OK.

No, it should be quite immune to normal power problems. It should handle them fine. In any case, it's the charger that takes the beating. A lightning strike might take it out, but that's where the damage ends. A Solo, even if plugged into the charger when it 'goes up in smoke' should be just fine (being battery powered).

Sounds to me like you should be enjoying your Solo more and worrying about it less?

Regards and best wishes from 'up North'.

So after having this thing for a couple weeks now I'd say that it's well worth the $129 I paid, looks great functions exactly like its supposed to and has a long battery life even on level 7 temp. Just holding it you can tell its a very solid well put together machine. The only problem and I assume this is true with every portable is the small bowl size. No matter how effecient it is I just can't stay high very long off of The size bowls I have to pack in the solo. Tolerance is just too high

Agreed I paid the same price, Ebay retailer named minnimee. A fully packed stem gets me nice but ill go for a second pretty often. High tolerance just means more sippin. Flavor is awesome so i dont mind ya kno

Most of the time a vape session is going to take longer than smoking a pipe or bong. There are exceptions of course ... it does sound like the crafty/mighty is good at extracting the goodness in a few hits. The solo is like a log vape ... I've have several Purple Days logs and they take forever to work thru a few bowls. The solo is quicker but its not a power hitter. But if you're needing 5 bowls to get to where you want to be you're either vapping shwag or require a tolerance break.

I recieved my new solo today. My friend got my previous solo as a present but in less
than a day I decided to order a new one because I already missed it.
I haven't used it yet but on the bottom it says M162CC... is this a new model?
A colder, hotter or just the same running solo?
Or, as I read many times here, it means absolutely nothing?
Can I charge and leave it or do I still have to be carefull and disconnect before the light stops blinking?

Help.. My new solo is going crazy with the lights every time I turn it on. Now I have to keep turning it on and off until it starts heating. What should I do? Can I reboot it?

try a soft reset

soft reset (plug charger into wall, insert charger into Solo, hold both buttons down for 4 secs, wait 10 secs, unplug charger from Solo)

Hey all you solo enthusiasts!
Picked up a pinnacle water filter originally for my 510 device but found it fits great on the Solo's tubes with a simple #7 O-ring.
Here's a pic of it together:

Yep, perfect airtight seal and stands alone for 1-handed vaping.
Here's a pic of where I placed the #7 O-Ring:

I got the O-ring off of one of my 510 devices, but you can get one at the hardware store.
I got the pinnacle GonG, used here as a WonG, I guess.... from this vendor. Highly recommended, arrives in USA in about 13 days.
Nice cool vapor hits.... cold and filtered !

(P.S.: (added later thru edit 2 hours later) Much thanks to @blankrider for the idea to get this ! )

Cool. Some of us did basically the same thing with a rubber band until we got luck in the GonG races at PV. Now there are a few alternatives, but time was you could wait weeks and weeks only to see a lot hit stock and sell out in hours.

Small world, I've been using the official PWT but when I saw that listing I tripped out on the opening photo being upside down. Cracked me up, I kept thinking about it......I've got one on the way. I'll probably end up giving it away to a new Air owner I know although it does look like it's different in small details?

Great post, thanks.

The one on the left. Send the other to me for testing, I'll PM the results to you......

Too late, I went with right, which was the silver one the corner of the dresser. On to results..
I am still using a glass flower covered with a staintless steel screen, it pretty much cuts the bowl to 2/3 the normal size. I then lightly fill the rest with herb, and I top with another glass flower to add strong flavor throughout, I like the conduction effect it has.
The silver ran great, I only used 3 but it seemed fine to me! What a fuckin steal, $55!

Will report back with results on the black (left) solo.
