I never vape when I'm out of the house but I like to have a portable to use in the house, especially one that heats up instantly, strictly for the convenience factor of being able to walk up to it, take a hit and put it away, all in less than 10 seconds, plus not having to be tethered to an AC cord.

Just wonderin' how many people are like me in this regard.

Btw, for me, the portable that I used for this was an MFLB, that is until I got the FlashVape.

Edit: Fuck. I just noticed a typo in the poll and I can't edit it. It's driving me nuts. "Convince" should be "convenient".

I usually use my UDs at home, but I will use my vapman or mflb at home depending in what I am doing and what I need. I also use portables out and about, mainly for school and work breaks. I do vape while fishing, but I'm usually in a good book as well (iolite)

It's a bit strange. I used to be able to smoke outside (out and about) quite a bit back in high school. Now, I feel kinda paranoid if I go in a public place and smoke. (even though I have my MJ license and I live in the bay area, where a ton of people smoke casually).. Comes with the territory I guess, after all, I did grow up in NC. On the flipside, if I know I'm going hiking somewhere, or some fun event like a festival or carnival I have no problem blazing, but often after a few beers.

Actually come to think about it-- if I don't have a couple beers before I smoke, I feel anxious and I get cold / shakey (I know the coldness part is due to blood sugar effects from MJ). So yeah, you could definitely say I'm a smoker who prefers the comfort of being in a nice warm house with snacks and some good movies or tunes !

I'm with you on the instant heat-up. I don't even use my Solo or Ascent anymore. For me, it's FF and ESV all the way. Instant convection is just the shit.

Firefly in the morning at home, Elevape SV when away from home, Firefly when I get back home and am giving my Heat Island some time to warm up. Those are my daily 3.

The FF is, IMO, currently the most suitable portable home vaporizer for flavor-chasing lightweights who have issues with waiting times. While the ESV is showing serious potential of being one hell of a "sneaker" vape for those who find themselves in fast-paced atmospheres away from home and can't really wait a minute or two for their vape to warm up, and who can't afford (legally) the smell of conduction to give them away.

I sold my last portable almost 6 months ago, but now I'm planning on buying an Air or Flowermate. I've cut my herb usage a lot and now I'm finding it kind of a hassle to take out my desktop vape and bong and plug the vape in, just to take one hit. The heatup time is only marginally longer than a portable- I just think the setup of a desktop and bong is excessive for 5-10 seconds of actual use. That's the reason I've been choosing to dab rather than vape, even though I prefer flowers. I'm guess I'm just lazy.

I don't even have a plug-in (desktop if you prefer) anymore, but my most common method is the FlashVAPE with the power adapter. Before that, it was the MFLB with the PA.

I could edit the poll to include those questions but that would mean that the 25 responses so far might no longer be accurate. I'll do it if lwien wants it, however. It's his poll, even if the FV got him so whacked that he typed the wrong word. :ko:

I'm usually cozy at home but I'm becoming more comfortable going on walks or hikes while vaping. I recently took my MFLB out Black Friday shopping with a buddy. We had a wonderful time. Got some nice gifts for my family and had a big Taco Bell dinner too! :lol:

I've gotta look into this one. It seems like a nice MFLB replacement! Still have to get the Vapman and Daisy I promised myself. :rolleyes:

I can take my pax to a bar or a nightclub, no problem.

Pretty much anywhere, though I don't go out that much.

It's my only vape, and it suits its purpose.
Though I still wish they would release some kind of official Pax water filter adapter. Even if it was a few Jacksons, it would make the initial purchase feel supported and to me more valuable.

Solo in the house and at the hotel.... in other words...private locations = Solo.

MFLB in the house for a quick one-hit and outside any-flippin-where.

What I love about the MFLB is pre-packing it and going for a bike ride, kayaking, hiking, horse back riding.....oh wait, that's a tampon commercial...wait....it still fits.... I didn't mean the tampon fits I meant the MFLB .... oh just forget it :rofl:

I use my vape mostly when walking the dog around the neighborhood at night. This way my kids don't see anything.

You guys need to checkout the goboof alfa. By far the best portable out there. Made in Ireland from the founders of iolite. It's the smallest, toughest, tastiest, efficient, cloudy, easy to use, easy to clean portable vape on the market. Better than the pax and smaller then the air. It almost seems like it's a convection and conduction oven.
