Since no one else has mentioned it (and I always do), check out the jhanpixel showerhead ufo sidecar on ioffer. Is a good bit bigger than most of the D020 series (2x - 2.5x? volume) so definitely not a mini but not too big either. My old beat up lungs can clear a full chamber with no problem. Also, it's US made with heavy glass and a bargain at $150 incl. shipping IMO. One of my absolute favorites under a nano.

I'm kinda partial to sidecars, but for cheap Chinese glass (<$35) the D020-W is hard to beat. It is second from left in pigfoot's pic; 3rd down in jam's link list. The infamous penis mouthpiece gives great hits IMO, but makes cleaning a real pain in the ass. Takes a while to dump through the tiny hole.

For size comparison - D020 on left, W in middle, jhanpixel on right.

Thanks dude! I was looking for my next sidecar purchase! I forgot about Jhan. I'm loving my D020-W - it's been my daily driver for weeks now. I'm tempted by the GB-187, but since it's not a sidecar, I'm really not interested.

I really like a center Dewar joint with the nano. Not as much selection out there, but love that a smaller vape can sit right on top. Doubt the weight of a nano will tip a GB-187 with water, but would rather not worry about such things.

Think nano is biggest influence of my fairly recent love of sidecars, too. Sidecar keeps it off to the side, so not right between your eyes a couple inches from your nose (the downside of a dewar). Plus, the view is fantastic! Can even watch the bubbles pretty easily.

Saw someone else talking about the W (or W2) and wishing for a wide open mouthpiece. Don't we all! I'm so tempted to take a butane torch to it and try to stretch it out. Hits great, but cleaning is ARGH! jhan ufo is nothing like that. Has sort of a trumpet style with a raised lip. Feels kind of weird at first, but works well and don't even notice after a few sessions.

Definitely prefer vape out of the jhan, but the W isn't too bad. IMO diffusion is better and easier to control, and greater volume of jhan is just short of one nice big cloud. Once I get thick vapor rolling around in my mouth, I can clear for just about perfect sized vape hit for me. Size of W can is so small you take some vapor before clearing. But, smaller size of W has its benefits. Nice to throw in a party size load and kick back to watch a game or whatever. jhan isn't really bad here, but not as comfortable. Probably wouldn't even notice if not using each a few times a week. Enjoy both that much. If the mouthpiece weren't so screwy on the W, I'd say it was maybe half as good. As they are, I think the jhan is worth the $ - especially 10% off (thanks @olivianewtonjohn ). Great piece for $135!

The GB-187 needs the centered Dewaar joint for the Faketrix to be supported vertically. I don't see how you could have a matrixesque perc that doesn't have a central stem. :shrug:

Edit: I guess it could be mounted like the stereo matrix, but I don't see how a single matrix could be affixed to the sides of the can.

He just means a sidecar mouthpiece. No change to the downstem/perc.

Edit- as much as I'd like a sidecar I'm not sure I'd jump on a 187 version bc I've already got a 187. I'd almost certainly spend the ~$30 to get a d020-w if it had a different mouthpiece though (for cleaning purposes, not for the c==3 shape). Dunno why they don't just use a similar mp to the D - that's gotta be cheaper/easier to produce, right??

Im not asking for the perc to be different just the mouthpiece. Couldnt the mouthpiece be angled downwards? Like that jhan piece listed above

EDIT: @Ratchett I didnt even see your post. Great minds think alike :cool:. That jhan piece got me thinking about a sidecar as well. Maybe if others message him he will make it a reality?
