Is there anything special I need to know when peeling the battery cover or do I just cut it and peel it off?
Most simply cut and peel. Some use stickers and/or glue. To get the gunk off (if there is any), you might try that "goo gone" product -- it seems to work well for most of these things.

Thanks, I figured it should be fairly simple but it's always good to get a second opinion.

Magicflight,
Thanks for the heads up on the RS quick charger. This model I bought times the charge as well as monitors temp. and has a high temp cutoff. So if either a preset temp is reached or 30 minutes elapses the charger cuts out.
I will take your advice though and charge your batteries in your charger and the RS batteries in the RS charger. On the plus side the RS batteries provide a nice snug fit into the LB.
By the way, I am VERY happy with the LB so far. :peace:

Will these AA batteries lose charge if they get cold like the lithium one in my cellphone??

I really think this could take a hold in the snow sports industry. Lighting up on a chairlift is quite a hassle.

Got my Launch Box today, what a great little vape! Very well made, no learning curve. One trench was enough to get me baked. I appreciate the easy draw compared to my Myrtlezap. Definitely a keeper. If you can't afford more than $100 for a vape, this is your easy choice hands down. With some extra batteries I could see this as my main vaporizer, it works that well for me. Time will tell if it holds up. Not much to break anyways.

Received my LB today, after 3 trenches I am rocked and the battery is still going.
I used the 15 minute energizer charger. Amazing portable vape!

My LB arrived and it is amazing. I love this machine. Somehow I managed to burn parts of the first trench, but it all in all, it was excellent. Compared to the VG, a trench gets you almost just as high as a bowl, yet is much quicker. It is simply stealthier, has very few parts to clean, and seems pretty efficient.

I think that the LB could replace my Vapor Bros. as my primary unit. The LB is going to be my unit for my personal use and portable sessions with one or two. VG is now for portable for more than two, and the Vapor Bros. is for home use with more than two.

I cannot praise the LB enough though. It's simple, yet effective design is amazing to see in action. Thanks Magic-Flight!

These stock batteries are awesome, 1 battery gave me 8 trenches. They seem to get my buds really toasted, almost combustion level. I ordered some tenergy batteries, it's the same exact ones they give you in the kit.

I find that Goof Off works to clean the inside plexyglass cover better than dish soap.

My LB just arrived, haven't used it yet but I noticed that when trying to insert the short stem, there's a little wooden 'block' at the bottom part of the circular entry, is that normal? I took a blurry picture of it (old cellphone cam :( ) and put a tiny red dot on the area in question:
19a97e0139.jpg

The area where the red dot is is about half a centimeter inside the unit.
When I insert the short stem, it doesn't feel like it's being secured in the hole, like if I'm not careful it could detach from the box.. When the stem is in, exactly 2 centimeters of it are left outside.
Is this the intended design?

Thanks :peace:

That's the way it is supposed to be
hmmm, that must be a new safety mod to prevent you from hitting the screen by pushing the peg in too far. My older style box does not have that blockage.

I just use my tongue and lick it clean after each use, it's just nice sweet resin, why waste it?

looks like im gonna order the LB in, well, very soon. im just curious bout the kit. is it still the same kit, or did they switch up that L tube piece for a straight one?

According to the site, you still get an L shaped mouthpiece and the short, straight one. In my experience, the longer angled one is more of a pain. You can't leave it in the box like you can the short one. I was always misplacing it.

jklasd,
I got mine from Blissville and it came with a short stem and a long straight stem. Not the angled stem pictured on their site. :peace:

I quit using the mouthpieces a long time ago. I get better draws when not using a mouthpiece as for me it makes it so I can control the airflow better without a mouthpiece.

i also prefer short peg or native now just so I can get instant feedback whether or not vapor is being produced

thats for the answers guys! i remember reading that people perfered the long straight compared to the L tube and that MF was going to see what they can do to include it in the kit. it was more a curiousity question. ill probably not even use the tube, as i usually dont for anything. ill probably order from vapenow.
