@Madcap79 had it on for 2 hrs and was still able to touch it? Correct?
Hopefully we can all workout something like the wrist band thing with cloud. At least these issues are being pointed out anyway. I'm very excited to hear about the boost working well for @Kaptan
Maybe I should have just went with the infinity instead of the G1?

Good luck... I spent a LONG time trying to come up with something to make the MW usable. I have samples of all kind of industrial insulating materials and none of them did squat. They might delay it getting hot but eventually it got just as hot. I think where the situation might be improved is with a inner and outer shell but again, thats just my thoughts.

I may be less concerned because I'm already used to dealing with the burning hot sublimator. Then again it has a handle to make it easier but I have a few scars for sure.

I am very excited to see it is performing well. My VAS will not subside. I want my G1. Just ordered this, hopefully it will arrive around the same time as my G1. I think it will pair nicely. Plus it will be nice when I do the video using the G1. Keep up the testing, can't wait to hear more of your thoughts while they develop as you use it.

Hey I just received the same bubbler. Ordered last Saturday and received it yesterday. I hope it pairs nicely. Now if I could just get a tracking number from versa...

I believe that will work nicely. A bent neck would be a plus. I wanted to use the Versa with my EFS gridded donut but it didn't fit. I might just stack adapters. I need to get a 18m to 18f adapter. I only have male to male and fem to fem. Boo.

It sounds like the infinity could use some sort of heat shield around the heater. Keeping the heat concentrated in and around the heater is crucial to high performance. All that lost heat takes away from the heaters efficiency. Something like a high temperature thermal blanket/insulator could work well. Might allow for easier handling especially in concentrate mode or at high temps etc...
Focusing the heat inside airpath is what will help bring out the power in this beast.
Mine should be here monday! I cant wait to test it out.

For the bowl getting hot, how about some Test Tube Clamps/tongs

DDave's idea for using with the EQ Cyclone getting hot.

Could be like a glass sublimator atomizer. On the sub forum people often wonder how to make a heated glass atomizer for the full sub effect with better taste through glass, this thing just makes it hot via regular usage. Now if it also produces sublima....well, let's not get ahead of ourselves. :)

I'm very encouraged by the user reports on the boost function. Mine's in Jersey, but still says Monday delivery by 8pm. I imagine a bunch more people got theirs today.

Well I have finally received a tracking number. Better late than never I guess. The have sent mine international through USPS. There is no mention of expected delivery time for me unfortunately. Could be a long wait. My past experiences with USPS have not been particularly good.

Also - just a quick question about mating my bubbler with the Infinity. I have just received the same bubbler that 1_gr8_underdog mentioned a few posts back. I'm totally new to using water (2 days in actually) and am not sure if I need anything extra to mate it. Will it work with whatever came with the bubbler and the pieces that Versa send? Sorry for the silly question.

It should probably fit, the flared end of the Infinity unit is 2.5" diameter according to versa, so you need the bowl to be at least 1.25"+ away from the pipe neck, from the picture it looks close but I'm going to guess it just makes it. I'm in the same boat with my glass pieces, worse comes to worse, I'll go to an LHS and see if I can get an adapter or a cheap glass tube with an angled downstem.

The bowl you use to roast the herbs will make it tall enough to clear I believe. May want to order something just in case.

Thanks for the tips guys. Has anyone hit it dry yet? I understand there should be some kind of glass stem like we see with log models or even like the one that goes with the LSV.

They mentioned a whip to me and said they would include it with my concentrate bowl.

You can always use your glass piece with no water in it. I do this with concentrates a lot.

Just hit it at 91v with half a screen worth. Pulled hard and got good vapor production. Almost as good as 82v with boost. Ripped again and got another slightly less milky hit. Well medicated. Should I record every first hit?? :science:

Turned unit off. Going to try to disassemble the unit. What's the worst that can happen? :)

Well if you're going to be reckless, I'd say see if you can try to combust with it.

But seriously, they did say they were going to have a .pdf manual with component replacement instructions. Or if you ask on their forums, they might put some up and you won't risk breaking anything, although with your job, I'm sure you're plenty handy enough. :argh:

I'm definitely not handy around the house but I'm fairly confident I could do it but who knows. Gonna live on the edge. Haha. I'll take some pics.

EDIT: A birdie told me I should wait for instructions to disassemble. I'm being watched! :uhoh::lol:
