Chimpybits, are you sure the cotton you used was 100% cotton?
A lot of cosmetic balls for instance are petroleum based.
Make sure the package has the symbol.

@Sonics420 -- I use the bullet, but you could probably drop the filter in there without the bullet or fmj. I would bet that soaked cotton in the bullet will work many times better than oil straight in the fmj. It just requires the user to be comfortable with vaping cotton.

if you give it a go with cotton, let us know how you like it...i'm betting you love it!

Dunno. They are organic cotton balls with the cotton symbol on the back - 365 brand from Whole Foods.

I had another session with my PNP yesterday. After sitting idle for a few days, I turned it on, and was pleased to see the full charge indicated.

Pre-heating (to level 2) then loading the bullet helped as did the puffing mouthfuls technique MileHighLife recommended.

Sativape, I tried to add a cotton filter in order to smoothen the hit (and to keep the mp cleaner). I just added a thin layer of cotton on top of my bullet (but not too full - up to the flange). Unfortunately, this made a mess of the mp and PONG screen as bits of sticky, weedy cotton stuck to it. I don't think a cotton filter will work with the PNP unless there's yet another screen (NO2) on top or the filter is compressed down (hindering the effectiveness of the filter). I think adding a filter and screen might just be too fiddly, too many bits for my tastes. Has anyone had success with a cotton filter in their PNP? I may opt for tubing extension instead.

I also tried my PNWT (level 2 and 3) and really enjoyed that. Quite effective for such a small volume.

Again, this little vape got me very nicely medicated.

@ chimpybits

Thanks for the info.

I'm hoping that the 2nd screen between the cotton and the MP or Pong screen will work and I think I'm also going to try one of those thin glass star shaped screens.

I will report back with the results regarding the glass screen.

Good idea on the glass, star-shaped screens. Should provide enough weight to prevent the cotton from being pulled upward, while adding minimal resistance. Also, prolly less fiddly than a ss screen such as the NO2.

BLAZING OG

Vaping is a way of life!
was your experience with wax and the FMJ anything like my experience??

http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/pinnacle-pro.10651/page-89#post-499742

if it wasn't i'd like to know more as my experience makes me never want to use wax and the FMJ in my PnP ever again.
Yes , pretty much the same except I haven't noticed any degrading of my thick walled pong. The FMJ was a no go, the wax just liquified and gave off wispy flavor hits, no matter what I tried i couldn't get any hits at all. I finally got frustrated & shoved a piece of organic cotton in the FMJ to absorb remaining wax, I then put that wax filled piece of cotton in the regular bullet and proceeded to get great clouds on 5. The first few hits were tasty and large , flavor dropped off quick and I could taste the left overs of the wax(I was given some not so stellar crumble).

I have an Arizer Solo, but it's quite finicky to set up, and not very good for portable or group use. Would the Pinnacle Pro be a good compliment to the Arizer Solo in these aspects?

Tus-Chan I have a Solo and a pnp. I can get as big a hits and vapor with the pnp as with the solo and most of the time even more. The water tool used with the pnp is the best.

Pnp is a wonderful, portable little unit, it's not quite stealth because you can smell it mostly when it's heated up and ready for use. After its been going a while ( 2 min. ) it's not so smelly. To look at it, it doesn't look like a vaporizer, if you saw it laying on a table somewhere and wasn't familiar with it you wouldn't know what it was. I think it looks like a child's toy musical instrument.

You could use it with a group, with the water tool would be better than with the mouthpiece unless you had extra mouthpieces, but that's just me.

When I got my Pinnacle Pro I gave it a couple of 8 min. burn offs then I used iso alcohol to clean off and had no "shitty plastic taste".

Do you think that the Pinnacle Pro can compete with the Arizer Solo on taste? The Solo tastes much, much better than anything I have ever used before.

after the horrible experience of buying a couple pax units off alibaba, which turned out to be defective,BOTH of them,i have decided to buy only real, genuine models.after reading a few reviews, the pinnacle pro seems to be a good bet.

pros-
1)genuine.
2)herbs as well as hash.
3)good vape quality.
4)requires less maintenance than pax.

cons-
1)battery life underwhelming.(dont really mind).

so,i think i'll give it a go,unless someone with some real experience with the device here advises i stay away from it or suggests a better vape.
also,pnp vs VB 2.0?

Don't get me wrong, the Solo is a great vape, I still have mine and plan to get an adapter and use the shower head water tool for the Pnp with the Solo. The Solo is very dependable, I'm not getting rid of mine, if money is a problem it's understandable.

Everyone has different preferences, it's great to have a variety of vapes. I like a vaporizer that can be used while plugged in or not. That's one of the reasons I like the Pinnacle pro. It's also great at medicating!

The pnp is a new vape the Solo is tried and true. The Solo had a lot of problems in the beginning, Arizer worked with their customers and made things right, its also been on the market for a while.

VaporBlunt is a good company and they have been working with their customers when there are problems, so you can be confident when buying their products.

Right now the pnp is my #1 portable go to vape.

Pinnacle pro has good tastes during the first 8 min. session, I will admit the next session isn't quite as tasty, but it medicates so well!

So much better than combusting. Have fun and good times.

Okay, last question: Are there any good reasons to keep the Solo, if I buy a Pinnacle Pro?

I own both the Solo and Pnp Pro. I love that the two make a good pair. They can both easily utilize the same water tubes (F-bomb, Pinnacle water tube, ect) by simply getting a Pong and glass on glass adapters. I took advantage of the Pinnacle black friday sale and got a chandelier hydro tube. I have used it with the Pnp Pro and right after the Solo. The Solo is by far my favorite. The Solo used in conjunction with Planetvape custom stems is "da bomb" every time. I am still experimenting with the Pinnacle Pro, one of my concerns is that it gets frickin hot. The Pnp Pro is very pocket friendly but after it has been used it can be fairly hot making it uncomfortable in your pocket. I enjoy both as each serves a different vaping purpose. When I get home I always reach for the Solo first. Then I will grab a few bullets and my Pnp Pro to take along with me the rest of the evening.

I tried wax on the fmj with no luck, then I tried a cotton ball with a piece of wax smeared in the center and it worked flawlessly, I hope to put up a video soon.
Please do. My PNP is on the way (just ordered it last week) but I feel upset that quite a few people here are having problems using concentrates with this device. What's up with that?

I've been experimenting with the cotton filter for the pnp bullet, works like a charm. It keeps the screen clean, but I will try using the glass screen along with that because a bit of the cotton wants to stick onto the pong.

Thanks stickstones for all your experience and wisdom.

Thanks everyone for your help. I think I will definitely be picking up a Pinnacle Pro alongside my Solo in the next month or so (once I get some other expenses taken care of). :D
