Uh... first non-manufacturer post on page 19? Where's my prize? :D

Any plans for different styles of hydrotube to expect what with the release of the Pro?

This one has caught my attention some again ... would be interesting to compare to my Ascent (still own my Solo and sold my INH in favor of an Ascent as I found the INH too harsh on my throat without at least some water conditioning or outside in the Winter) ... my one concern about this one would be the same as the INH which would be heat and flavor (or 2 concerns I suppose :))

Unfortunately no funds to buy yet another vape at this moment :(

I have the Pro and an Inhalater. They are very similar with regards to heat and taste.

This vape looks really nice. I was curious about the conduction. Say I pack a full load and take one toke then put the Pinnacle Pro in my pocket . Will the herb immediately stop cooking or do I need to finish the entire bowl in one sitting? Does the conduction cool down immediately? In other words, when I take the vape back out a half hour/hour later will it still be as ready to go as when I first loaded it (minus the one rip)? Thanks in advance.

Any preference of one over the over?
This is difficult as they are both excellent portable vapes.
I prefer the capsules that the Inhalater uses over the bullets.
I prefer the button used for temp control on the Pro over the knob for the Inhalater.
The taste is slightly better on the Inhalater if the temp is kept below 6.
The battery life is better on the Inhalater, but the Pro has a battery indicator, which the Inhalater does not.

IMO, you can't go wrong with either vape. If you are concerned about reliability, you may want the Pro over the Inhalater. Inhalater has been having QC issues, which are suppose to be resolved on their next batch.

This vape looks really nice. I was curios about the convection. Say I pack a full load and take one toke then put the Pinnacle Pro in my pocket . The heating chamber will start to cool after its powered off, but the device also uses conduction heating around the sides of the bullet. This conduction heating will keep the bullet at temp for a couple of minutes. I have been able to get a couple hits even after the vape is powered off.

Maybe someone asked this already, but I don't remember seeing a post.

On the VaporBlunt website it indicates the Pinnacle mouthpiece/PonG are not compatible with the Pinnacle Pro....so should we assume that the Pinnacle Pro mouthpiece/PonG are not compatible with the Pinnacle?

They are not mutually exclusive. We changed the material on the PONG/MP for the PRO due to increased heat settings. It is possible to get the PN PONG/MP melty if you use with the PRO. You can, however, use the PRO PONG/MP on the PN without issue.

(The pieces look identical, but if you were to weigh a PRO MP vs a PN, you would find it weighs slightly more ;) )

Will a car charger be in the future for the Pro?

I just received a UPS tracking number for the shipment of my Pro. I can't wait to try it out!

This conduction heating will keep the bullet at temp for a couple of minutes. I have been able to get a couple hits even after the vape is powered off.

In those couple minutes how badly do you think it cooks the herb? Do you think it is better to kill the entire load in one session? I want something I can have a hit or two, throw in my pocket for and hour, bust it back out and rip again off the same load.

Not to hijack the pro thread but it sounds to me that for now the Palm 2.0 by VaporBlunt sounds more like what your looking for at this time . I can see owning the Pinnacle Pro and the Palm 2.0 as covering all my vaping needs (other then VAS) One Killer One hitter in the Palm and One killer session vape in the pro .

Assuming that the pro works efficiently with small loads, why not just get some extra bullets and only quarter fill them? Of course that wont be as simple as simply switching it off and pocketing it and you'll have to carry extra bullets, but at least this way you'd know you aren't wasting anything also you'll get a fresh tasting mini session every time.

On another note, I wish USPS tracking was more reliable. Mine has been sitting at CA since Thursday, apparently. The last item I got through them was delivered while also till supposedly at CA. I hate not knowing!

Edit: I guess a quarter of a bullet isn't quite one or 2 puffs but honestly I think you'd waste that much heating it up and then cooling it down inside the pro or any vape with some conduction going on.

Efficiency is pretty important to me, but as long as it's not as greedy as the Ascent was with herb I will be satisfied.

After you switch it off just hit it a couple of times, that will cool it down faster.
Ive left herb in the Pinnacle with no problem to reheat later.

You could also just remove the bullet from the heat source if you want to finish it later, then you could throw it back in for storage/transport after the unit cools down for a few minutes.

My plan is similar to that, the firewood looks like it will be a good-tasting one-hitter so my plan is to use it to compliment the pp whenever it (the ff) arrives. The palm looks good but I wonder how it compares to the puffit which seems more stealthy to me. For stealth the zenpen is on my radar, but otherwise I'm done as long as the pp and fw perform up to expectations.

In fact it's time to thin out the herd a bit at this point...

The Palm 2 is much more stealth then the puffit , smaller easier to stick in a front pocket also its a one hitter so you only have to heat it while you are taking a hit 6-8 seconds a hit , when not taking the hit your not using up the battery or the Bud . The Puffit tastes like Crap . The Palms Taste is one of the best .

The puffit is still a session vape . and the size of an old 32cal Saturday night special . A Red P2 from 20 feet just looks like my generic asthma inhailer a lot more then the puffit . The Puttit looks like a giant Mock up .

EDIT: right now I am using tenergy 2500 batts in the P2 and four will last a weekend . one battery will give 3-4 trenches try that with the puffit .

Yeah I never really looked into the puffit, but always liked the medical inhaler look from a stealth standpoint. Even if it's a bit weird from a mmj standpoint. But I totally get your points, that size and especially taste matter. I just read through the puffit-x thread and taste is still a turnoff it seems.

I do this all the time. Take a few hits, then turn off at the end of my next to last hit. Then hit once more. Will give you dozens of hits per bullet. (Dependent on material quality & pack). This is with the OG PN. Of course with the Pro, will also be dependent on temp your using.

Pinnacle Pro is currently charging.

Kinda bummed out though, my unit had a chip in it when I opened the box. Not a huge deal, but after going through all the BS with the Ascent, I was hoping for a perfect unit. Not sure if this happened during transit or what. Could have been the Ebay seller as he had to open the box to put in the free grinder and extra bullets. No way in hell I'm sending this back for something cosmetic like this! I already had to wait 6 grueling days for this bad boy to ship!

I'll be back later with my :2c: on the performance.

I received mine in the mail today. It's on the charging stand as we speak.

First impressions...
Holy cow this thing feels and looks solid. I bought the WT along with the Pro and I am super happy right now. Compared to when I got the Ascent, I can already tell this thing is going to do wonders. It has no cheap plastic feel to it and it's very well designed. Holding it in my hand, it feels solid and has some "good" weight to it. It's actually smaller than I expected and I can easily see it being super stealthy and portable. I'm pumped to try it out, but until then, I just wanted to give my input. If you're riding on the fence about this, I can confidently tell you, pull the trigger, buy one.
