hey guys! today i am going to do another batch of some wax or shatter. I am going to be starting out with 112oz of some high end herbage. - come back with some pics later and see what you guys think-

I have not had the pleasure of vaporizing concentrates yet, and with some tax money coming my way, I'm thinking of finally making some BHO. Most videos and instructions I have come across on the net demonstrate the process using ounces or more, but I live in a freshly new medical state and prices are still much higher than places like California or Denver. So my question to you all is it worth making BHO with only a quarter ounce, or half ounce? Or will the yield not be enough to make it worth the money to spend on the bud?

Hopefully you can try them soon! I recently started making concentrates myself, i am trying to record all of my data with trim and nug. i will be updating both this thread and my other therad/s asap(i have been doing alot of work with BHO so i will bbe on here frequently). If you can get trim, i would try it with that. usually its about a can to an oz or that same ratio up and down. let me know if you would like some help with learning the process

Thanks very much! Sadly I have no access to trim or a large amount of bud that won't cost me several hundred dollars. The new law won't take effect until Jan. 2014 so until then I won't find any bud under $200/ half ounce. That's why I am hesitant to drop the coin on the bud, and end up with a small amount of BHO that might only last me a day. I'll be checking this thread often for updates, looking forward to following your BHO ventures!

depends on how badly you would like to try this. personally it helps me cut down in a sense. a dab goes a long way for someone with a low tolerance and for someone with one.

Starting a 112g run of FLO- lets see what we get and how long it takes us.
1 can per 1oz of material
spray all 4 oz's then throw that shit on the grittle or whatever you have.
start swishing the mix with itself until you can mold it into the center of the pan. or if you have wax paper, you want to slap that on there. ( pics coming later ). starting now:
just threw the batch in the vac. wonder how long i want to purge it this time
i ended up throwing in a small tangerine peel into the vac chamber. going to see if the taste and smell will transfer into the wax just by that process. anyways its starting to look good.

probably just whipping it and letting it sit in the vac or purge for 12 hours in a room. thats the simplest not my prefered tech tho

running several pounds is not unheard of ,, i dont' know what we used to make this , but we got almost 90g in one run, also use parchment paper , not wax paper
I think I'd splooge myself if I had that much to play with

we generally try not to do ones that big , its a lot to be responsible for and messing up that much at once would be bad ...obviously
