Photo shoot huh, classy, was the person responsible for shooting that usage video a while back booked? I'm sorry, I couldn't resist, I'm . I mess with my old lady a lot too, she gets real pissed at me sometimes.

Hahaha! And this is why I'm not in video production, nor photography. No hard feelings...it's actually comical at this point how bad it was, but eh, what do you do? Normally I hire professionals- not me and my assistant playing around with a camera.

It's a red burl wood...is that how you spell it?

Nice! I like the burl wood even more than the other wood! We're not gonna have to wait for a "shoot" to get a good usage video are we?????

Also DV, is the only one that has the silver case the croc skin one? Because I almost think I want the carbon fiber center on the silver case instead of the black. (it would be awesome if this was doable.)

Thanks for your updates DV, your communication is greatly appreciated.
The pictures on your website are looking sweet!
I know that pictures can be deceiving, but it looks like the "wood" one has rubberize sides in the picture.
The "black carbon" sides looks like smooth plastic and on the "croc" they look like aluminum.

Would you confirm what the shell materials are?

How would this fair as one's first vape? How does the ease of use compare to the PAX?
BTW- looks like we are on target for end of April...let's just say May 1 for the "general" public.
Welcome,
No one has it yet so it is impossible to compare:tup: But the original DaVinci Vaporizer has been quoted in many reviews as being a true plug and play vaporizer with little learning curve, and I do not expect this one to be any different.
Based on track record of the DaVinci, it should be a great first vape. It is full of user features.
It has a oil option, and vapes dry materials. So it can continue to meet your needs no matter what your vaping.

Do you guys own more 18mm or 14mm water pipes?

mod note: There are a lot of posts saying just "18" following this. Obviously that is the overwhelming answer so if you use 18mm but don't have something to add, please don't respond.

DV - Are you talking about making a straight GonG adapter with a male or a female joint? I think you will find on average that the flower guys have female joints and the dabbers have male joints on their glass pieces. Anything can be converted and some conversions are tougher to deal with than others.

I typically only buy glass with female joints and in that case would have to vote for a 14mm male GonG. The reasoning is because 18mm female can be reduced down to 14mm taking up very little extra space with a Low Pro reducer/adapter. Converting 14mm up to 18mm takes a much bigger adapter.

Some may say 14mm will restrict airflow compared to 18mm but I would be surprised if a portable could truly handle that much airflow and still heat the load.

My .02, sure many others feel different.

I am who I am and your approval isn't needed!
I have a near equal of both 14mm & 18mm, but nothing my adapters don't take care of to use either ;)

I think 14mm is a lot more logical for a portable piece.. 18mm joints are usually found on larger pieces and are typically used for combustion and desktop vapes. A portable usually calls for portable glass, where small bubblers w/ 14mm joints are much more prevalent. So while most people OWN more 18mm glass, the better question is what are people more likely to USE with a small portable, and in my humble opinion 14mm wins hands down
