What I plan to do w/ a HydraTube...

This idea just came to me and I felt like sharing it.

Any HydraTube

= one highly customizable beaker-base bong?

Or, you could cut the HT and adapter, and get a Saturn Vapor Tamer from 7th floor
Or, to stick with the format

Saturn Vapor Tamer
= nice cheap glycerin coil setup?

Don't you want the cooling before the diffusion, and not after with the VT as a mouthpiece, right?

TBH, I've never quite understood the point of a vapor tamer before the diffusion.
Running it through the tamer then water seems to suck the cold out of the vapor, and I get seemingly average temperature vapor, but having the tamer after the water, I get nice, extra chilly hits.

For me it is:
VT first to cool down the vape's temp (and by this thermic choc also increase the vapor "quantity") and then diffusion & filtration of our "room temp" vape through the perc.
But I see where you're going too...

Haha I thought there was a misspell and you meant VT instead of HT...very NICE Boobs!

FLskwat,
custom piece from glasstafarian. gridded trees w/ bent neck. i can't wait to get it.

how much for that, boobs? I might have him make something similar with a male joint on the bottom (should be possible, right?) so I can stick with my idea but skip the male-to-male adapter.

Totally awesome concept. Now all you need is a couple of hydratubes with different percs. That bent neck HT looks amazing as well, the best current solution for bedside cloudage I believe. OKcomputer, if you go through with this we will need some pics because that will be seriously sweet.

Aren't the gong joints the weakest part of a tube? You'd have to be pretty gentle with a setup like that, imo. I did see a company doing something like this, though. They had mix and match bases, with different diffusion tubes. The joint on them was huge, though.

I've heard that too, but how would it be different from using an ashcatcher?

Weight and leverage. You're putting a whole tube on top of there. Not saying it won't work or anything. I just see breakage as a bit of an issue. You'll have to be careful with how you hold/pass it.
