I wasn't comparing anything actually. Only stating my personal experience with the LSV. The only thing I compared was the price between the 2.

I will say however, that there is a big difference between 190$ and 449$ and if that means I need to take an extra 10 min to learn it's worth $260 to me.

I don't know if you read sticks answer above but, although the Cloud can be sold without a mouthpiece for 449$, considering an extra 100$ will get you a dedicated water piece to use with it that would cost +250$-300$ at ALT if you compare with glass pieces that were made by the same blowers, then you should factor these when you compare the price between them.

And when you do this, the expensive becomes less expensive.

Everyone can buy an expensive car if it saves enough money for it.. but dont forget that you need to afford maintenance as well. If you need to save for the vaporizer AND for the maintenance and potential problems.. then it's problably wiser to not invest in it.

This, to me, is the main difference between the Cloud and the LSV. If it breaks, can i get a new one or repair it, or get a new part, anytime soon? If the answer is no, then you should tread carefully.

In the end, both will get you where you need. Just won't be as pleasant, at least according to nosferatu and others, since i don't own either. :D

ok - maybe im retarded - let me say this...

there is NO, NONE, ZERO technique with the cloud! You can suck any fucking way you want and she will spit out the best vapor available - it is truly a WIDE OPEN all glass airpath that takes nothing more then the flick of the switch.

Regardless of whether or not there is even the most minor technique to the LSV it is STILL HARDER TO USE THAN THE CLOUD!

Holy shit! This is becoming a who knows how to use the LSV better contest - the guy simply asked for a comparison from members who have used both.

thanks, vorrange...i was starting to wonder if anyone else was doing the math.

I think if I were new to vapes, I would have a hard time with the lsv the first night. that's what happened to me when I got my first vape (the E) and went right for the whip...total failure. but after some tips from this board i was hitting it quickly and mastering it after about a week. fast forward to anyone who has used a direct draw system like a whip, stem or wand and you've got someone who will pick up the lsv in two pulls.

Correct, but while you stated that the LSV has "quite" a learning curve, I think it is also valuable for anyone considering the purchase of an LSV to also know that for many, the learning curve of an LSV is nominal.

See, for me, even though Sticks implied that I am an experienced vaporist and as such, the LSV would normally be an easy transition, the MFLB had a HUGE learning curve for me, so much so, that I was never really able to get it nailed down, however, there are vapor rookies that nailed it down in one trench.

Potential users of any vape should get a variety of different perspectives, and that is all that I was offering up.

Personally - I always said there should be some type of rating system for vaporizers that would be based on ease of use. I think alot of people made mistakes with the MFLB thinking such a simplistic device at such a low price would mean it must be a starter vape - how wrong they were... as opposed to the cloud which is quite expensive but as long as you have thumbs you can get ripped on your first try.

If I've been reading this thread right I'm gonna have to step up to the cloud. I read lots of posts from people I respect, people who have "been there, done that". Fuck it,I'm going to treat myself and sling 600$ bucks at the cloud.
I can't afford the nicest house,or the nicest car, just to much $. BUT I can get the nicest Vape on my street. In the big picture $600 Is not a lot of cash. I know I know,600 bones is not cheap,in fact it's damned expensive. If I stay out of the strip club for say a month I'm good to go. It's to easy to piss away 100$ a night and have nothing to show for it. By my fucked-up math I'll actualy come out ahead. A month of not bar hopping will save me between 5 or 6 hundred,so that pays for the cloud. Every night I don't hit the bars is another $100 in my pocket....weed money.
So according to the math I just made up I'd be a fool NOT to get the cloud. Fuck it,I'm getting a Vape no one around here has.
I can't afford a Lamborghini but I sure as shit can afford the best Vape in town.
One last thing,I'm telling the wife I'm only spending $550, 200 for the FlashVape and 350 for the cloud,so if she asks, cover for me please.
Don't be judgmental,I love my wife, but if you can't lie to your wife who can you lie to?
I wonder how long it would take her to find out I pawned my wedding ring? If I don't post here for a week then I'm dead, slowly rotting away with that dead hooker in a shallow grave in my back yard.

Heres how you can impress your wife - being that the cloud has a wide open airpath - if you fart in the gong joint it whistles!

How could a woman NOT love that?

I dare anyone to challenge it!!!

mvapes,
Dare accepted!
You're right about the wife thing. If you combine a ripping fart with a whistle noise how could she NOT love that?
Two separate noises at the same time, both created by my ass?

There is no way that's not funny. She will be so impressed and turned on you could drown a toddler in her panties...not that you would want to of course. Either that or she will finally do what she's been threatening to do for years; wait until I'm asleep then cut of my wang and plug my fart hole with it.
God I love that woman.

Dad? Is that you...
Luke,I AM your father. Accept the dark side of the force and together we will rule the galaxy with our farts. Remember what happened to Alderan? An entire planet vaporized by one tightly focused chili fart. Imagine the power of two butt-trumpets. Join me on the Dark Side my son,so we can prove to the universe that farts are not only funny, but if used properly can even make the Gods flinch at the smell.

You made the right choice, ShipDit. My wife doesn't even know I have a Cloud because I guess I forgot to tell her? Come to think of it, there are a couple of dozen vapes that I think I've failed to mention. Well those and a few kids running around Rio de Janeiro, too but I digress...

In any case, you're gonna love it.

You guys need to stop making me feel... buyer's remorse? :\

We're here to fuck shit up.
Buyers remorse? The LSV is my favorite vape.............by far.

^^^^^^^^ THIS ^^^^^^^^

I love my LSV. The thing is a monster. I would really like to give the Cloud a try, but I'm more than satisfied with my LSV. Incredible taste and vapor density. Throw a tiny chunk of hash in with your flowers and get vapor that rivals smoke. This thing destroys every combustioneer that comes into my house. Durable as hell! My dogs have yanked this thing off the coffee table at least a dozen times and I don't have so much as a chip on my heater cover. Granted that it is falling onto carpet, but still! There is a learning curve, but its all about finding the right dial setting for at the pace at which you draw. It just works well. I really would like to give the Cloud a try though.

Lwien I just got a steele concept so we are rocking the same gear lol! Did you ever find a best water level with this thing? I'm still kind of having trouble finding a good inbetween.

I agree don't have remorse - the LSV is a solid device from a great company thats been in the game for a long time. Besides - once your VAS kicks in there's always room for another vape.

Now - what can I buy without telling my wife? Im getting jealous over here...

how do you guys like the steele concept stuff? Seems real interesting.

I dig the Steele Concept as a travel tube, but i think I prefer it for combustion. Both my vapes hit better out of my tree perk bubbler simply because the SC has restricted airflow and you get splash up if you inhale to fast.
