Ok way too much vapour today. but im up now. whew. one thing: it seems like after it warms up at 12 o'clock that its not quite ready yet to make thick vape... is this right? it seems i have to let it warm up even though its green and/or inhale quite strongly to kick the vapour "on". if i just start inhaling at a moderate rate when its green i dont get much vape. inhale strongly a couple times and it kicks on the vape. is this the intended operation of the cloud.

I like to leave it for about 10min once it turns green at noon, then it's perfect for me

I let mine get good and warmed up, and still have a short time at the beginning of the draw where its air/light vapor then a few seconds in, it thickens up to a solid milk... and I increase the draw speed as well. There is just a slow start, and I found if I am more gentle with the draw until I see vapor start, then let it rip I get a thick hit.

Question about ELBs... on the VXH site they say "4 ELBs" but the picture is of 2 caps and 2 main parts. does that count as 4 or is that 2? some of us canadian are looking at doing a group buy to split up the $25 shipping they charge (nuts). any canadians want to get in on this PM me.

Ok so just to confirm, the picture is wrong then on their site because it only shows 2 caps and 2 ELBs... did you order this from them and get 4 of each? just want to make sure. it makes a difference by a factor of 2.

Just comparing the Hydracirc to the Double. both are good. no significant amount of difference in drag. hydracirc vape seems cooler, and Double seem more moist. the build of my Double is ok - the lower circ is not centred, and the percs are not put in perfectly concentric. the build quality on the hydacirc is excellent. oh and the Double has a glass error on the bottom, a lip of glass that extends into the joint and makes it impossible to get a 100% seal. so that's a problem.
Ok, just did 0.1g in the cloud until i was getting very thin vape. took the AVB from the ELB and put in a PVHES shorty straight in my SOLO. im getting some good thick puffs. I was at 12 o'clock on the cloud. should i try something else? turning it up. mind you the AVB is tasting skanky.

The picture isn't of the quantity you get. The description is what you get. When I ordered my Cloud, and 4 pack of ELBs with it, it was the same exact pic/product on the VXL website. I got four ELBS and four caps, in a little bag that said ELB x4 or something, plus the two that come with the cloud, in a separate bag. 6 total (2 that come with the Cloud, plus the 4 pack I ordered) 6 ELBs, and 6 Caps.

Ok just put the silicone wrap on. I dunno... i got a translucent one. looks like a giant condom and makes the cloud feel like a sex toy. maybe that would work for that guy that likes to stick his finger in the bottom of the bamboo.

I want a purple LED sooo bad. If they ever do customized colored clouds I know I am definitely in for another buy!
Just got to try out my friends Cloud with Swagger Double. That thing is a beast! At first he had it turned down and I was wondering about these crazy thick hits people were getting then he turned it up without me noticing and out of no where white-wall clouds were rolling in, quiet nice! I'll have to get one when they start selling the unit only. The silicone sleeve is nice for the hotter sessions, it is a bit odd though but oh well stops it from getting too hot to touch.

Seriously it is a beast!!! Why not just buy a package? I heard that you get a really good deal if you get the package. Rumors of the Cloud unit buy itself have it priced pretty expensive. :-)
Anyhow, I yearn for my Cloud to return. I am dying over here, LOL. In my personal opinion, once you use the best, it's hard to use the rest. :-D

I got one with my cloud that arrived yesterday. but i didn't order is separately.
Question re glassware: the cloud is my first glassware, ever. i got the swagger double. it has some issues but i wanted to get a reality check here. first the percs are not very well centred or level and the lower one is to the side so far its almost touching the inner wall. also there is a shmoosh of glass like a thin lip that is protruding into the joint such that i can't get a complete seal when its on the cloud.
I would think for a $350 piece it should be pretty close to perfect. but is this just the way stoner glass is? or should ask for an exchange?

Being a $350 dollar peice, I would want it exchanged. You could buy a high end Mobius or SG for that kind of cash.
My Evolver was a little dissapointing. It functions perfect but the slits on the showerhead are pretty gnarly. And the little tube that sits inside the showerhead and directly above the female joint, has a severe lean to it.
I wouldn't want to return mine but I would yours with the description you gave and considrering it is there "top of the line" glass.

It should be damn near perfect for $350...not sure what you mean by "stoner" glass though.
Exactly. I like the idea of the HTs but they seem way too expensive for a piece that can only be used with the Cloud or other vape that has that capability. My SG Natty Stemline was $330 and is almost perfect, so I'd be pretty disappointed if I dropped $350 on a HT that had imperfections. You can even get a Mobius Ion for under $350, why don't more people on here realize this? I know it's hard to snag certain SG and Mobius pieces, but the wait is worth it for sure.

I get what you're saying. TBH, I think the price tags on the HTs are a little high. Just IMO. I would definitely go for a stand-alone piece over a HT at the $300+ price mark.
Was checking my YouTube account today. Someone commented on the video I posted about my Clouds temp knob, and I thought it interesting that they took the time to read the FC rules, to decide to comment on YouTube instead of here, in the thread. A rude comment really.

Ok I sent VXH a request for exchange via their website support channel. is that the way to do it? im not going to happy with VXH if i have to pay to send this to them. think about it. that and also i asked them in my order to check everything over because of the pain of doing this from canada. sigh... so there you go... i would say that right off the bat my cloud has an issue that requires warranty. well that was the risk going into this. thankfully i bought that used hyrdacirc so i can use that in the meantime.
prospective cloud purchasers: i would just expect to have one return during the warranty period. i know people on here say there are way less clouds with issues and that may be the case. but just to be safe do you don't get all wound up about it, expect to have to send it in at least once. that way if it happens (and its happening to me) you wont be disappointed.

The sleeve has a decidedly DIY feel to it because of the rough cuts and adhesive backing. It works great at keeping the Cloud hand-holdable over multi-hour sessions, but it ruins the aesthetics of the sleek black outer case. I use my Cloud as a medical device, so I don't really care, but I can see how someone else would be upset over the choice between a pretty/scorching hot vape and an ugly/useable one. I just appreciate being able to hold my Cloud without burning myself (the screws get especially hot without a sleeve).
If there were a way to fasten the outer jacket to the Cloud without using so many metal screws (maybe wood insulation?), there would be less heat transfer to the metal jacket. Right now the metal jacket is acting like a heat-sink. A small fan directed at the Cloud is effective at dissipating that heat, as has been already recommended in this thread. The noise of the fan bothered me, though. I need total silence to sleep. I also like the extra grip that the silicone provides. It reminds me of my power tools with silicone grips. If VXL could incorporate the silicone layer in to their manufacturing process, they could make it look a lot better while functioning the same. It wouldn't look DIY, it wouldn't peel off over time, and the Vapexhale logo would be embossed or printed directly on the silicone. Down the line they could offer different colors, perhaps, by using different colors of silicone.

Agree w Cannabinaut on the sleeve. i like the more comfortable feeling of it but I don't like it aesthetically. i am thinking of cutting it so that the sides are covered but the front and back arent because i like the look of the anodized aluminum and logo.
so far mine is not getting so hot that its not holdable. however i find it slippery and when getting baked it gets a little scary because if feels like i could drop it. i think the sleeve for the added grip.
UPDATE: I cut off the front of the silicone sleeve using a straight edge and razor blade, carefully so as not to scratch the metal. i think it looks way better. i used the lines in the chassis as a guide to make a straight cut. it makes the cloud look better but still gives the comfortable grip on the sides. i left in on the back too for now.
One thing, i had to clean some of the adhesive off the brown/black metal. i thought it was anodized but the dark colour was coming off a bit with the iso soaked paper towel. this is more like a paint or a dye. that might explain the bad robot fart smell my cloud has/had. so give yours a wipe with iso to get some of the residual dye off. i wish i had know this before i put the silicone on it.
Oh and, if you put the silicone on don't think you can take it off and re-apply it - the adhesive backing comes off and stays on the cloud. you have to peel it off afterwards and it will not be reusable.

Yes that is the correct way. Someone will contact you. I believe you will have to pay for shipping. They have provided a pack of ELBs to me on my replacement in exchange for the shipping cost.
Also, your not sending the Cloud unit back right? Just the tube? I don't think that's nearly as bad (but if you don't have another glass, it's just the same). I have two glass pieces that I could use (my hydratree and a bong with a 18 GonG) but alas, not Cloud unit.
Can't wait to get my issues resolved :-). Just can't wait to experience that first rip from my Cloud :-)

Just imagine how pathetic your life would have to be that you would troll youtube looking for videos of someone doing something you don't approve of (breathing warm air passed over a plant to relax), read their youtube description, go to the website they reference (in this case FC), read FC's forum rules to determine they can't post rude comments here, and then go back to youtube to tell another human being they should go kill themselves because it somehow proves some point they have. If my life got that pathetic I really would kill myself
