Alright Underdogs the last of the B-day specials are now on their way. Thanks for such a successful special this year you guys are all top dogs in my book. :brow:

Now I'll start plowing through the emails that are piled high in my inbox as I've been too busy shipping pieces out to keep up on with them. Continue flex your patience with me as I slog through the messages it'll probably take me 2-3 days to get through them all. According to my math it looks like it'll take me about 16 hrs (hours!) to respond to them all, seriously, crazy huh? That's if I average 5 minutes per email to read and respond, amazing how 5 minute blocks of time quickly add up when you're talking about hundreds of emails. I guess this is what it feels like to be popular lol. Anyways I'm starting with the oldest ones in my inbox and work my way forward so no worries I'll get there eventually.

Oh, also taking pictures today for the refresh and adding those pieces to the website tonight so stay tuned. :peace:

Grrrrr! Hey guys we're having some problems over here and it's looking like the refresh isn't going to get done tonight. :rant:Everything is done just can't get it all posted to the website tonight so we'll do it tomorrow instead. If I can swing it I'll post some Lineups here and the UD facebook page tomorrow before we go ahead with the website refresh. Patience grasshoppers..

Haha guess I can't pull one over on you Stu, I had to at least try though..

Tomorrow I'll work harder and won't even look at the hammock. Well other than at lunch and for my 3 nap-breaks that is. :brow:

Looks like I've got right around 25 pieces for the refresh in some really nice woods so hopefully they will have been worth the wait. :peace:

About to check out with the sweet Maple vape currently available. I only own a MFLB, was looking for something a little more home-oriented.. After browsing /r/trees, it was between Underdog (thanks, darkrom) and an Arizer Extreme-Q. Underdog pulled ahead once I saw how active Dave is on FC! That's dedication, right there.

Eagerly awaiting!

I found a 14v power adapter with a plug that matches the UD at a local thrift store. I tried my UD out with it and I must say the extra little boost does seem to make a difference. It definitely pulled some more cannabinoids out of a stem that was not hitting with the stock power supply. As a result I am quite baked. It seems to be a more mellow high, but I could just be tired. I'm thinking I can just use a dimmer switch and have a makeshift VVPS. If I can get a hold of a voltmeter I'd like to see what voltages these adapters are pushing.

Hey all you dogs :D
Thought I'd pop in and share a pic of the two dogs I've got kennelled with me ;)

The big girl is Chilean Laurel I picked up from the 'Help Abysmal' UD auction, and the stripy one is Jobillo. Both beautiful pieces and great functioning. The Laurel is surprisingly light and packs a real punch temp wise, the Jobillo heavier and runs a bit cooler which is how I like it :)
Dave was a gent and sent me a whole bunch of different stems to try out including a proto-GonG and some fattys too. I'm having fun trying it all out.
Thanks for the great work Dave, mucho appriciado

Got my dog today as well, thanks Dave. The shipping was quite fast, but that was expected. It heated up no problem and the wood looks beautiful, definitely one of the greatest surprises I have ever got. Sadly I will only be able to use Balancing Bleus on it for a while but when I get different herbs you will see some videos.

Currently using the lemon essential oil and it smells lovely, no longer will I be using incense, candles, or sprays. I sense more UDs in my future.

So I've had a few weeks with my Dog, and gotta say, it's been an amazing few weeks :D I love this thing! I do have a question though. I got a few glass stems, and it doesn't seem that they make as good of a seal on the Dog as the silicone counterparts do. With the regular silicone stems, I can just put the stem on and inhale and it works fine; with the glass ones, I have to actually push the stem against the Dog because the silicone sides seem to be too big to fit snugly. Is this normal?

@ Highocain - thanks dude, order shipped this morning.. welcome to the 'pack'.

@ BlazedRunner - cool man sounds like a good addition to your kit. If you post a pic of the power supply label I might be able to help you find out the actual output. A voltmeter is probably not going to give you an accurate reading unless you find a way (like cutting into the cord) to measure the voltage while the UD is hooked up as well.

@ JRR - nice looking Pups you got there.. :D I'll take a picture of that purdy Wychwood piece you sent me a while back, just have to remember to do it lol.

@ ghost>boogie - glad you're enjoying the Pup.

@ Payton - looking forward to some videos eventually man..

@ onox - it is normal that the thin-wall silicone is a bit more loose than the thick stuff. It's thin enough that it stretches from use (and the heat) whereas the thick stuff doesn't so much. As you discovered you can push it in a bit if need be to improve the seal. Alternatively you can flip the piece around on the stem so you have a 'new' end that's still more tight. Lastly you can replace the silicone tip as needed for a fit that suits you, I do mine maybe once a month.

@ JDSupreme - Yep, coming later this evening.. I'm working on it right now. Will probably break for dinner shortly and then finish up afterwards and start putting them on the website. I'll post here when they're all added and live.

Oh man, kinda wish I'd waited! Some of all of those are really beautiful. Walnut still my favourite wood, though..

Lol yeah that seems to be the way things always work eh Highocaine? I guess I shipped too fast for your own good this time.

You like walnut huh? You'll really like some of the pieces I'm working on (already!) for the next refresh which is pretty heavy on the walnut.. both some really nice claro burl and some of the nice chocolatey black walnut I just bought the other day.

Lots of beauties up on there. My only problem is if they have all been covered with various oils by the time they go up on the site. Looks like you are busy! and thats great. Loving just looking at all these cute dogs :) keep up the good work, Dave

Just ordered the Zebrawood twig!! Matches my Zebrawood LB!!

I considered ordering a custom Dog, and if I did, it would have been the Dog I just ordered.....exactly!!

You read my mind!

I'm sure you're gonna love it mr. Monarch. It's not only beautiful, but a warm Blue Mahoe log is so soft to the touch it's almost sensual. It's almost erotic to handle it at times, lmao.

I've never heard of it before, but I really like the looks of that Ailanthus wood Dave. Really odd colors as far as I can tell form the photo.

Nyc-D, is Dave gonna have a crack at that beautiful Ambrosia CRZ of yours, or didn't you ask him yet?
