Itza Pillar (w/ gridded circ)

Hey guys. Our local headshop has gotten a lot of Itza lately and my girlfriend and I were down there picking up some vector and low and behold they had one of these bad boys.

They priced it at only 300 dollars and we got them to give it to us for 270. I thought 300 was a pretty ridiculously low price for this thing and I think they just didn't know what they had to be honest with this piece. I had looked into getting a nano pillar (the 8-9'' version) on boromarket and they were asking 550 for a clear one, so to get the regular size (this one stands a foot tall, maybe 13'') for 270 was a no brainer for us!

Hope you like the pics, i'll have vids soon!
I've always wanted a peyote pillar but this thing rips so smooth it really is the next best thing especially for that price! :D :science:

Nice purchase

I wanted a nano but their communications (or rather... lack of), for int'l purchases from their sight made me look at something else. Maybe some day..

I'm sure they made money on it. Kinda shows how inflated some of these prices are.

That is a really good price for that. I was looking into an izta piece for my cloud but by the time they got back to me my hydra tube was done.

Also guys keep in mind a Store that makes large whole sale purchases is going to get work at a much lower costs than if you are purchasing a made to order tube from them.

Yea I understand the wholesale process, I mean they had the stemline itza ashcatcher for 30 dollars off retail, but this seems much more of a discount than that one lol. I'm pretty sure this piece should/could have been priced atleast at 400 or higher. This seems waaay lower than retail and we know the people at the shop pretty well. Its the only real nice headshop in southwest florida and they have good glass but not usually amazing glass. They had some other itza's like some mini/nano tubes with dry-8 arms and they were in the 350-400 range with work on the top but nothing with a perc like this one.

I'm just shocked cause this same headshop will try to sell you a phx HD for like 550 dollars (it is PHX though). great deal for us either way!

Its actually a very fair price as you said dannk when you think about it, i'm just super happy to have gotten it at a good price not the inflated retail haha

In reality I've been seeing prices on itzas on BM fall.

The only clear pillars I ever saw go for 4-5 were ones auctioned off by the itza crew.

A 12" 5 to 8 arm tube with work can be had for less than 300

Yea I had the guy who owns Galaxy Glass Market tell me in my thread on glassheads on reddit that the price we got it for is WAY under wholesale for this mini pillar haha. so I'm pretty stoked with the purchase.

here we go guys! first video :D dropping bhombs!

Beleza galera!!!! That's a nice glass for sure, I really like the green oil gunk in the neck :) nice video edition as well, congrats!! and enjoy as much as you can

Damn, nice pickup Marcellus :)

I was also looking at those nano pillars (as an alternative to an SG pillar) on BM, but didn't want to drop $550...

$270 is a freakin steal.

Is pillar diffusion really that much better or do they just look really dope and are hard to make so they are pretty spendy??

Honestly I don't know what it is but the pillar diffusion really is incredible haha! It gives off a lot of flavor while still being very smooth. We've mainly just dabbed out of it cause its a great size for dabbing (since its about half the overall volume of a peyote pillar)

I didn't expect the pillar to rival a fritted disc in diffusion but I mean I think the way the pillars work and how the bubbles/smoke have to travel so far crunched up like that against the glass it really cools it down a lot and smooths out the hit.

I'd definitely say this piece is on equal footing with my fritter (prices of both taken into account, cause we got a super deal on this) and I think I like it better than the stereo for dabbing and flowers, but the stereo is still my go-to piece for the vapexhale cloud.

Cool thanks for the comparisons that helps a lot man. Glad your enjoying it! Wonder if it would be hard to clean claim out the pillars after dabbing with it?

Yea that seems to be the most tricky part but a lot of ISO/salt and shaking still seems to do the trick. a lot of the claim really gets caught above the pillars where a lot of the bubbles pop in that chamber

That pic is a crack up. It's not a domestic Bengal is it?

I'm not sure exactly I don't think hes a bengal he has some looks like one but as far as we know he is just a Tabby with some really cool markings :D

We "rescued" him because some guy found him in a park about 45 mins north of where we live and he was a little kitten, the guy had no room for him already had too many animals so he gave him to us :D hes an amazing cat!
