Ok, amongst all these great photo's, I got an almost 3 year user review update, so...........after almost 3 years of using the PD, I have to say:

I enjoy it just as much today as the day I got it. I've used other vapes during that period, but I kept coming back to the PD. Why? 'Cause for me, it is:

The most efficient vape that I have ever used.
The easiest vape to maintain than any vape that I have ever used.
The most reliable vape that I have ever used.
It is the best tasting vape that I have ever used.
And, it gets me as high as I would ever want to be.

For the past two years, it has never been turned off. Been on 24/7 and continues to work flawlessly.

Such a simple design that for me............just does what I need it to do...........every time I use it.

I received a copper cap looking thing with my PD.. is my assumption correct that this is for covering the PD top when not in use?

Amen to that, brother. Of all my vapes, my PD gets by far the most useage. It just works for me the best. I love to play with all my toys, but when it comes down to my daily driver, it's my PD all the way.

No. That's for aromatherapy. You can put essential oils and such in there, but be careful when you take it off. It gets rather warm.

Been in Rockazona a little over a year, lots of scenic things to see and do. And some unusual stops too...

I've been by this place, Mel's Diner a couple times, it's on the main drag a couple miles outside downtown Phoenix. Had to meet somebody for lunch near Downtown a few weeks ago and took a chance...
I didn't make the connection till we went inside, this was THE Mel's Diner from the TV show Alice... 1976 - 1985

Some signed photos of the cast etc, they did some interior shots on location and used the sign in the opening... typical diner posters (James Dean, Marylin etc.), Formica and Chrome etc ... dizzy (very busy), waitress included...
The best beer batter fried Cod . All you can eat, which is about 1 extra piece, for dessert... a great pile of great food.


A parking lot full of pick-ups is a good sign...

Mel's Diner! Tom, I didn't even know there was an original one. Alice was one of my regular shows as a kid. Anyone remember what was shown right before or after it? This would have been post MASH but pre Cosby/Cheers. Was it Mary Tyler Moore?

Yeah, Stickstones, I didn't know there was a real Mel's Diner... till I went in the door... and back when there were three channels, well, Mel's was lots of times a best pick... And it is a for sure a best pick for lunch in real life Phoenix. The Turkey Plate or Roast Beef Plate both look great, but the Fish Patter is too good to pass up... pure white, perfect Cod, not too much batter, cooked just right... In 1976 this place would have been on the outer edge of industrial Phoenix, on the old highway to Wickenburg and westward toward Quartzsite. Now it's near the edge of Downtown (it seems) on Route 60, still a main drag, but the Interstates have left it... sitting nearly across from the State Fairgrounds, not a bad spot.

Cool story Tom, though I'm a bit too young to have seen Alice. However, the Scorcese film which the series is based on, "Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore", has been on my to watch list for quite a while.

I've lived with this vape for 10 months now, and Iwien has inspired me to do a follow-up review on the PD. I'd like to share with all of you my PD 'system' that I've developed.

So, when I was researching vapes here at FC, I had a few features in mind:

The PD delivers on all fronts. No compromises. Over the last year I have refined my vape system. Instead of typing about it I'll just show you.

The Living Room Kit:

• PD Stem[/*]
• Wood container is for ABV[/*]
• Metal container is for fresh product[/*]
• Wooden dowel is for reseating the c-rings[/*]

The Old Desk Kit:

• PD Stem[/*]
• Fishing lure case for product and ABV. I label each container so that I never mix strains.[/*]
• The wooden dowel is for reseating the c-rings[/*]

The New Desk Kit:

• PD Stem in the copper tray of dodah's[/*]
• Portabilly (with two chambers to store two different strains...perfect!)[/*]
• Mahogany container for storing ABV [/*]
• My gorgeous walnut PD[/*]

Why So Many Rigs?
So now I'll explain why I have so many set-ups. I vape mostly in my office and in front of my TV. I started dropping my PD when I would use both hands to drag my equipment from one room to another. I started using these pocket-sized zipper pouches which are easily concealable and movable with one hand.

I also bought another power adapter, so now I don't have to reach behind my desk and unplug my PD when I wanna vape and watch Star Trek Voyager on Netflix (they should just rename it The Seven of Nine Show).

First Impressions:
The PD is fantastic. My first (and previous) vape was a silver surfer, so I was already used to quality.

When I first got my PD I would pack my stem too hard and grind my product too fine. I got a new, coarse grinder, and I use the vacuum technique with a finger tamp and now every draw is easy. I get 3-6 great, thick, tasty draws from each stem. My ABV comes out blondish green (perfect for cooking imo)

Draw Technique:
I use the milkshake draw technique that I learned from Tom and a few others here:

• Using mostly your face muscles; fill your mouth with vapor, like you would drink a thick milkshake from a straw.[/*]
• Once my mouth is full of vapor I do a quick and deep inhalation with my diaphragm into my lungs.[/*]
• I keep doing this until my lungs are 1/2-to-2/3 full. Sometimes I hold the draws for a few seconds, and then slowly exhale from mostly my nose but also my mouth. This technique allows me to enjoy both the thick clouds and the aroma of my product.[/*]

Heat:
My walnut PD at first wouldn't get as hot as I would have liked, but now this PD is broken in it gets plenty hot! The walnut PD definitely gets hotter over the first few weeks/months (It was gradual, so I can't be sure exactly how long). It now takes about 15-25 mins for my PD to get hot enough for me. I have just decided to leave it plugged-in up all the time. The PD didn't effect my power bill much at all, even when permanently plugged-in.

Vapor Quality
The clouds are thick! Thicker than any other vape I've owned or used. At first the SSV made thicker, bigger clouds, but after my PD's break-in period it started to kick the SSV's ass in efficiency and vapor clouds.

The only critical observation I've made is that my MFLB and SSV did give me a better flavor (but not much better, just a bit). Having said that; I have never combusted my product in my PD, but I would get careless and burn my SSV and MFLB loads all the time....and I don't miss my SSV, at all. the PD is the best vape i have ever owned.
