Hey there fellow vaporists :)
Since I quit combustion in December I've been overwhelmed with the sheer amount of choice and variety when it comes to vaping. My trusty MFLB+PA has served me well and will continue to do so but I think it's time I took some steps into the wider world of vaporizers. After a LOT of forum lurking, research and almost ordering many different vapes only to find out something off-putting and having start the whole process again, I'm finally set on the HI! I e-mailed Alan a few days ago and he's put me on his infamous list.
I can't wait!! :ko:

welcome abroad the HI train guys. the wait is long but in the end its well worth the wait. just hope most of you guys make it through the waiting list without losing your marbles along the way. hahah

Well, I took the plunge and emailed Alan. Looking forward to my playdate with the HI :)

Thanks Vapinghole. I appreciate the support. I was doing pretty well until I tried to get some more of the variable voltage power supplies and found my normal supplier no longer carries them. The I had also just found a supplier of the cheap voltage testers that do work. I will have to do some looking now for a replacement. Still have a couple of the variable voltage units left and a bunch of the non-variable units.

CHIDOY - It will probably come as a surprise when I do contact you. Thanks again.

Placetime - Thanks. Will definitely link a flaming top video when I get one.

That is some goooood HI porn right there. All the videos make me crazy for one of these things! I love my cloud, but sometime you need something ready to go with a moments notice!

How do you hook it up to glass? I read something on this thread about some sort of bubbler attachment but that might be completely different.. There was also something about a glass nipple?
Sorry guys there's just so much information on this thread, and so many different accessories it seems, there's too much to take in! I must sound so clueless :doh:
Somebody's going to need to sit me down and explain it all to me..

The outside prong must contact the outside of the plug and the next 2 prongs must contact the inside of the plug. It will go through a diagnostic checking for multiple cells but will give a total voltage.

(The one on the left). You can put your herb into the top, and the bottom is a 14mm gong joint. (Thanks for the image, ilovebOObs!)
I don't have a nipple. :D

Thanks @staticsunn for those pics. I can't believe I never tried putting the glass nipple into the all glass turbo tube.

All these tubes and nipples.. starting to sound like some crazy experiment.
Terrible humour (if you can call it that) aside, I think I'm starting to get my head around it all. And now I wait...
