Hahah, oh really? There was a card that flashed in the video with the same little cute cat in your avatar and I just assumed. :p Sorry.

Wow. You guys got some quick eyes. I didn't see that the first time I viewed that video and I was watching for clues to see what ya meant. Watching the second time and looking for that cat card, I did see it, but man, if I wasn't specifically looking for a cat card, it would have just passed by cause those cards were flashing by pretty quick. My eye reflexes must be gettin' pretty old.

Yeah, I had a bucked tooth cat like that a long time ago. Big Siamese male named Deacon. He used to chase coyotes away from the trash cans. Ya didn't mess with Deacon. :)

lol those cats have attitude. we have friends who live out in Saskatchewan and they had a Siamese cat. I was little, and it was scary back then haha, but we were friends by the end of the visit.

"We are siamese if you please... "...

I can believe it though our cat(a mixed breed smoky black coloured cat) who was a stray before we took him in used to bring in rabbits and ground hogs for us on his overnight prowls. it was pretty gross! lol...

I've found the closer it gets the most anxious I get.

A (full anesthetic) surgery tomorrow will put Pammy out of action, so shipments that might have gone Friday will wait till Monday. (I don't drive) So, a big batch to haul to the Post Monday, if Pammy is up to it by then. Might have to take a taxi if she isn't.

Hope all goes well with the surgery. You're in our thoughts Pammy.

I had a male siamese growing up, his name was Samson. Seriously, that cat was a bad-ass. I saw that cat snatch a trout out of the snake river once! He was often my loyalist fishing buddy. He'd always follow you around like a dog and was friendly as hell, but he kept all other animals in line. We always joked about his nine lives, and how he'd cashed them in several times. He kinda had an epic death, taking on two german shepards at an old age of 16,...just the way he'd of wanted. Maybe that's too much information.
Anyway, thanks so reminding me of him, I haven't thought of him in years.

Would a custom or modded stem that allows for more herb per load work as well and provide more hits?
I know the drawback would be that herb would fall out if used normally but I'm envisioning this for the bong where the supply side of the stem is upright
so that's not an issue.

Thanks for the contest and all the best to PD-land.

jeffp, while I'm not sure about a wood or custom piece there is the possibility of user modification to make a larger load-size. This idea is one from another PD user (either posted here or in chat I think) and one that I now use frequently.

If you rid the regular PD stem of its flat screen you can create a larger (or smaller) cavity with the help of a 'dome' screen type set-up. In essence, the stem's cavity is fixed with the indent that Tom makes on the SS-tips (I'm sure you could push the flat screen up or down to make a larger or smaller cavity but this clearly doesn't work quite as well practically speaking). What I've done (again, following in the footsteps of another PD user) is this: (pics talk better on this I think)

PDstems004.jpg

PDstems002.jpg

I took the SS tip and flipped it over (so the indent wasn't present on the loading side), mated it with the normal PD stems and cut it down very short. Then slid some tubing right over the PD stem (a little too far by the looks of it but the tubing isn't touching the SS tip FWIW). Finally added a standard 14mm H20 adapter to the other end. What I wasn't able to photograph properly is the placement and nature of the dome screen. Basically the dome screen (curve out, concave out?) can be slid up and down in the stem and load-size can be dramatically altered. Right now, a few minutes ago when I took that pic, the screen is probably just a little farther than the normal indent...often though I end up using the set-up to make an even smaller PD load (though this is easily achievable by just packing a half stem of course).

I have to be very careful to not over-pack when the load-size is large but with a nice, not tight and not loose pack, this functions very very nicely for me. Not for everyone and not something I use all the time but it allows better airflow (partly because of the GonG I think) with a large load IME. :2c:

Thanks hereatlast for taking and posting these pics...
something like this should work wonderfully with the bong as I see that you do the same.
i find that i get less hits using the bong than straight vaping which makes sense when you consider the
massive quality of the hits. that said it would be nice to be able to load enough for about six hits which is about
right for a session.

Not sure what it has to do with the PD thread. Other than he started off using Spiral Architect's Purple-Days video on his website  and made the claim that the Purple-Days was 3 months out which it is not... He may make a fine product, who knows? But, his business ethics are sure in question after those two moves, IMO. Of course, he claims it was somebody's fault, other than his. That's a funny one... and another example of his character. He has posted in this thread since, but no apologies for ripping Spiral off or lying about our lead times to promote his product.
