Wow - loving the 'wet-look' on that quartet Rick! I think the pics are fine - but if you can get them better then great.

Any shinier and you'd need sunglasses. As it is, when I looked at those, the glare hit my eye so hard it felt like I was getting a stye.

I just received my Out On A Limb Zap from Blissville. Its much nicer than what the site pics showed it to be. It's just a bit shorter than my brass Myrtlezap and it's bottom base is larger and significantly heavier which just helps it stay put and not so prone to toppling over. A label on the bottom states " "Tulip Poplar", the species of wood. The bark actually has some greenish colored algae or maybe moss still embedded in it rendering a very natural appearance, I LIKE IT!! The finished wood part has the circumferential rings tooled in which gives it additional eye appeal. The tooling is superb with an incredibly smooth finish and innate gloss. Its plugged in as I type warming up right next to Lucille. I think that they've already made friends. This one looks like a boy and I think I'll name him Louie, yea Louie and Lucille, that's the ticket. I'm more than happy with my purchase, and as usual rick has out done himself yet again. I may add that Blissville's service was commendable. Ive posted some pics of my new arrival.

Lycanthrope, you have a lovely couple with Louie and Lucille. They look like they are meant for each other. :D

And another very cool box.

Thanks Mom, I wonder if Louie is an RZ-1 or a CRZ. Maybe you can shed some light on that or maybe Rick can, I however think Louie is a CRZ. I'm hoping that Louie and Lucille will mate then I'll a baby Zap for free. The wolf on the box was wood burned in then painted. It may the only one in existence.

It's a CRZ Lycanthrope. There were only a few of the original "RockZaps" that had the cement liner instead of the ceramic liner. I'm lucky to have the original prototype of the RockZap. Hence the RZ1 in my signature.

Baby Zap.....

Thanks Mom, I thought it was. For me that makes it even better. You've become quite the encyclopedia on Zaps.

On Sunday The Vaporist Rests
Just a reminder that when the work is done, my favorite way to unwind, is still on the stem end of a Zap!
You all have my apologies for the video referred to here and in a number of future posts.
It was deleted from Youtube, in a fit of fear and Paranoia, after the bogus raid on our home on May 18 2015
The video showed me going through my normal Sunday....
Finishing tinctures, cutting stems... making butter, and trimming bud etc.
I took the viewer on a tour through our home.
After the above mentioned raid, we became scared for any outsider to see the inside of our home, and I deleted the video completely.
But there in the mirror on the wall,
I see the dream is fading,
From the contender to the brawl,
The ring, the rose, the matador, raving

I bought my first CRZ today. I'm happier than a pig in shi--err mud. I got the dark maple zap on the site. Can someone pull a pic from the site and post it here for me? I'd really llike to thank Mom for educating me on these vapes and really taking the time to help. I'd also like to thank Vito for his 'better than a million words' videos. You've helped me tremendously on several occasions. Lastly, thanks to Rick for his wonderful creations. I'm proud to purchase one of your vapes.

Thanks for the order Jeppy. And thanks to mom and Vito for their support. You picked a unit that is turned cross grain. That technique is not our normal way of turning and does show off the grain differently. I will get her together tomorrow and expect to ship Tuesday. I say expect to ship because we will put her under extensive testing before shipment. Wood does have an effect on heat. We can make predictions but there is no test like the real test. I will keep you posted on her progress.
Here is a shot of her. Not a good shot.

I also want to be sure everybody checks out our revised Sold Gallery. Our web guy has played a bit more with the presentation. We like it. Click on one.

Oh man, I like this change of the sold gallery. I enjoy this layout much more, the other one was a little difficult for me to use. I see a bunch of newer units have been added to that page as well. Cool

Looking at the sold page is like taking a trip down memory lane. I see some of mine, some that got away....

Really like the new look of it.

And congratulations on your new Zap Jeppy! I can't wait to hear how you like it.

Damn, Vitolo. That's got to be the best video I've seen all month. It really shows that there's so many great ways to medicate and stay healthy. I'm so envious of people in medical states right now. It must be really nice not having to deal with the black market

Rick, I'm really diggin the cross grain look. I hope you turn some more like that will be available for purchase after I move this summer. Also, I like the new gallery you're sporting on the website. It's a lot easier to go in and find a particular sold zap now.

Vito always gives his videos that down home feeling. Makes you want to be there with him, just kicking back, quietly relaxing and vaping. :)

Since we've taken a trip down memory lane with the new sold gallery, I thought today might be a good day for a history lesson I've been meaning to give for some time. :D

Here is a shot of the history of the Zapville glass stems. Starting from left to right, we have the first glass stem that was available, the PlainJane. This fit on the stock nylon stem. From there, it progresses down the line until you get to today's version of the Tooty with the ss tip on the far right. You'll notice that in this version, the tip is kept in place with a silicone sleeve rather than bonding material. I've got to say, that I still use them all and it's been a fun ride!
