So my sister pointed me to this TOOL 'easter egg' today... and I can't stop listening due to its slight mind-blowingness... I'm also vaping some nice OG Kush right now (the taste really is pretty phenomenal ha).

anyways... I thought I'd post the link so you all could give this a listen to.

I've seen them five times... and their tickets prices keep going up haha... but it's worth it.
I love Sober... great song... so raw. I was lucky enough to see that played live at a very small venu, Memorial Hall in KC, MO... only sits like 3500 people or so. It was so amazing. Like WHOA amazing. I also like how they sound so perfect live. There's a lot of bands that sound decent on an album and can't pull it off live... then again, there's not a lot of bands that put on a live show like TOOL does. The BALLS you have to have not to play an encore in any of your shows hahaha.

I love Tool!!! Been a fan since Undertow, saw them twice live. My favorite song is Lateralus. Damn strong music. I love it.

I saw them with King Crimson (one of the favorite bands of my youth) several years ago. Wow, what a combo. I remember consuming some really nice fat joints before that show with my buddies. It was intense for sure.

King Crimson had some serious chops, but I personally don't dig on Tool at all. I have friends who insist and insist and I don't like it a whit. Don't hate me..

I used to be a huge Tool/APC fan and then I saw them live and lost a lot of respect for Maynard. Hiding behind stage and begging people to stop taking pictures?!? I'm sorry but I didn't pay $120 for my Tool tickets so that the lead singer can hide behind stage like a little pansy. I understand that he does that a lot but I think it's pretty disrespectful to fans paying a lot of money. Not to mention, the whole set list was pretty much the entire 10,000 Days album. :/

Jim Morrison used to play with his back to the audience, facing the drummer. Musicians are weird haha.

It is lame when the setlist doesn't have much variety... I feel you on that one (also why I'm not the biggest fan of album release tours, but they can still be fun)

I think concerts are just generally too expensive these days, leaves more people critiquing instead of just rocking out and enjoying the show.

I hate to disappoint, they just do nothing for me. They have such modern recording and playing methods that I just want the headphones off, and I'm not much for the vocal and lyrical styling either - nail me to a cross, but I find it to be whiny. It's all too young for me.

This is me coming into a coffee thread and saying "F*** coffee," so I do apologize. :lol:
