Yay, I see my curly Koa! I know someone else out there is going with Koa, reveal yourself :p. Seeing all the wood choices just reaffirms my decision to get immediately back on the list once this one ships.

I always love seeing that Dan has posted here, but then I see what he’s posted and realize one of you lucky bastards is getting them and then...

The second and third from the top and the sixth from the bottom are particularly amazing burls, and I bet the spalted pieces will be great too (not to knock the others, I’m just partial to burls and stuff). Congrats to whoever they’re all going to! Whenever my Nomad II number comes up, I hope there’s something comparable available! :goon: :lol: :argh:

Tis I, fellow lover of the Koa. :wave:
I've loved Koa since an ukulele entered my life, such a beautiful looking and sounding wood.
Nomad 001 is also in Dan's clutches atm getting fitted for a new sleeve. A serene underwater scene to oppose my Great Wave sleeve.
Love Dan's updates. Some beautiful wood choices by everyone that will make some exquisite Nomad II's.

It is beautiful isn't it? I have a sentimental attachment to Hawaii (the only place to find Koa for those that don't know) as that's where my wife and I were married a little over a decade ago and we try to make it back every couple years. It'll be exciting to see the variations in design from vape to vape even with the same species.

Very nice and congrats! I like the feeling of floating it gives. Reminds me of the old days and some killer magic mushrooms. Beautiful and amazing work Dan!

Wow man, the mockup was already pretty cool; this is even better! It keeps getting harder to decide which are my favorite Nomads, but this is one of them too... :clap:

I hope eventually @Dan Morrison will post pics of every Nomad somewhere so we can see all of them! It’s sad that some great pics have already started disappearing from the thread, and I know there are other Nomads whose pictures just haven’t been posted... :(

Also, since I’m afraid you guys weren’t amused, I wanted to make it more clear my last post was :popcorn: not :rant:. I was mostly just looking for something different to say instead of just :love: so I don’t feel like I’m :horse:.

I do hope I get a Nomad II with similarly stunning wood someday, but for now I’m happy for whichever of you are getting such beautiful pieces! :rockon:

It is hard not to be a little jealous of the keepers of every Nomad though, since they’re all such unique works of art. :luv:

At least my sleeve’s turn should come up sometime soon to settle my Nomad Envy a bit and give me something new to talk about! :lol:

Actually forgot to mention that this isn't the final sleeve design. The final design should have a little more going on.

I hope everyone out there is safe and healthy. We are operating as normal, feeling lucky to be able to work from home!

Will be sending out an update for the batch 4 people tomorrow, more photos of finished Nomads, and asking about shipping. So far shipping is fairly normal here in Canada, so I'm good to send out, so long as those receiving are able to get their packages safely. I'll be asking everyone individually before shipping.
