Hello good people!
Here's an all glass airpath with his wood sleeve...
10mm OD glass tube spiked by GlassCharlie for a better airflow and cooling effect

Boxwood and turquoise stem

The system is simple, just slide the glass tube in the wood sleeve and enjoy...

I wish you all a great day!

No o ring, just wood and glass.:)
I adjust by sanding to have a good inner grip on the glass tube ( no risk it could fall from the sleeve) but not too much grip. The glass tube must be able to move by twisting gently at it. It's a balance game :)

I admire your exacting standards. Precision in craft is a highly respectable trait, keep making beautiful things!!

@Hackerman Well, I especially noticed contraction phenomena... I try to limit it in a reasonnable proportion by a drill in two steps. A first one, then wait a few days to see how the wood moves and readjust by a second drill or sanding. It seems it's far more stable after that.

I think an important point is to let the glass tube in the wood sleeve and to move it by twisting gently between the session. It also avoids it stays stuck with crap.

:)

In your experience how well does your device deal with low quality bud?

Of course I WANT the best quality bud. However, I've witnessed this little miracle of a device do amazing things and that makes me wonder how it handles cheap, half-price weed.

Can anyone share their experience using low quality herb in a Dynavap?

My general experience so far is that poor quality goods don't vape anywhere near as well as high quality goods. And that is true for me with any vape. If you have a decent scope you can easily see why. Poor quality goods tend to lack the trichomes which are actually what vaporizes.

I find that I have some allergic responses to cheap weed. The VapCap is perfectly happy delivering crap as it delivers top shelf flower. Me, on the other hand, definitely prefer the top shelf. I've decided I can't hack the cheap crap. I spend days hacking on a $50/oz junk-weed where a quality bud has no side affect at all. Everything else is somewhere in between. So if you can handle the cheap stuff, great. It is all cannabis after all.

Growing is easy?
“M” is not garbage!
Someone grow’s low quality CANNABIS?
How do they make $?
Definitely not easy!

"M' is not garbage, heck I won one, but then that's the database, the garbage in/out would be the bad weed going in and the poor vapor production coming out.

They can sell it, I'm just glad not to be the one using it. Top shelf or no sale imo.
