Damn - you referring to the power supply?
edit - with the power supply firmly attached to the Caldron, if I rotate the power supply, there are instances where power will or will not be supplied (not sure how to describe this)

i'd make sure connections are properly plugged in.
but if the PA's led is always on and it loses power when you move it, i assume the thinner wire segment between the PA and the IH is the problem, might be the power jack in the IH as well.

Yeah, I’m hoping it’s the cable, but I’m worried it’s the jack!

I know my adapter on my PS mini is finicky. The plug doesn't really "plug" or connect at all, it just sort of sits in a dish that appears to be a little to big for the adapter head.
The first adapter i got was doa.

Each, and every time? If you mean its plug
there is a matter of polarity. The plug should have one one prong larger than the other,
To prevent mishaps.....
A 3-prong plug should go into the socket properly.
American and Canadian plugs, if you look directly at a socket, the ground socket will be at a bottom, the live slot is on the right and the neutral slot is on the left.
Possibly you are talking of something else. Not likely, but, a short?

Thanks again for everyone who offered advice with my IH! I’m really dumb when it comes to electronics - maybe this is normal?
When I disconnect and reconnect my Caldron, it seems that I have to finagle the cord just right.
In the video, I tightly reconnect the jack, but no power. I gently re-position the cord and it works! A slight nudge disconnects the unit...
