I wonder how much it will change ergonomics.

Fwiw I never find myself gripping my Mi's below the button so I see no adverse impact here. I do imagine a modest improvement in pocketability though.

Really digging the bottom plate on the V3s. RBT messed up though and made the first version so good I can't justify buying a newer one

I like how they did the new bottom plate....with an hex screw it will look really nice.

When I saw that little difference in the button placement....I momentarily thought it might be an issue. Then after realizing I have big hands...it probably won't be a problem for me..but those with smaller hands? I have not used any Mi yet... so I am not sure how I would hold one while using it just yet.

In addition.....is there any mini water/bubble stems for the Mi 18m fit? Otherwise, I was thinking to go with the dry cooling stem DDave sells. But is there a depth issue with the 18mm joint? Or is the Tubo the one I read that needs a shorter 18mm joint?

My guess is that the 3 will be better for those with smaller hands than the earlier versions. I grip my Mi 2 with my thumb and my pointer and index fingers while I press the button with my ring finger. My pinky finger floats in the air tea cup style. It would be an unnatural stretch to try to place my pinky underneath. It looks like with the 3, placing the pinky beneath will be a more natural feel. Ryan seems to be doing that in the vid.

After using so many different 18650's.....I always go back to using LG H2's in all my vapes except my Arizers because they do not have a high load amp wise. But using my G43 for example....eats batteries because it needs more amperage and consistent voltage to keep up. LG H2's excel at that....they are the best for me with powerful vapes.

Better to find a wpa that is 18/22 (22mm joint length, Tubo takes longer length, SplinterV2 takes shorter) and then get separate hydrotube. Pinnacle 14mm one is a fine mini tube, and there are larger 18mm tubes available too, all cheaper via dhgate. Much safer than using any stem with water in it in my opinion, plus minimal water won't even do much to cool anyway. Even better though, just use a bubbler, then you can keep Mi upside down using it like a lighter for your bowl in the bong (aka the stem with screen basket)

Oh Tubo also sells Nub cooler now that will fit Milaana btw! It has the shorter 22mm length

DDave has an 18mm cooling stem that you can put water in. I use the earlier 14mm version with an adapter and it works great. I don't bother with the h2o. I'll be picking up the 18mm version when I get around to it. I also want to pick up that Nub from Lamart but I have to get in touch with my cc people to tell them not to block the international purchase.

Ryan did an IG stream 11 hours ago working on Mi2s & assembling the Giveaway Splinters(Zs?). It's 30 min. long.

There's also a 2nd 1 hour stream up from 22 hours ago of him assembling Mi2s. After 24 hours it's gone.

Thanks! Changed both streams to Mi2s - hopefully it is the 2 in both streams. :p I'm a Splinter gal so not following the Mis, but will let the post stand for those who want to see general Mi assembly. :)

Been a while since checking things out. Is there any information regarding when the Mi3 is expected to be ready for those of us that took part in the pre-sale offer? I dropped my Mi2 onto hardwood floor and the glass for holding the stems got totally thrashed. I primarily use my Splinter Z with Paranormal box-mod, but sometimes the Mi is easier for me to use late at night. Anyway, would appreciate any reliable updates on the Mi3. Also all the best to Ryan and here is hoping your hard work and innovations bring you the rewards you so richly deserve. Oft times it can be difficult to be a square peg in a world of round circular ones.

It's hip to be square.

I do not get why he would want to have the videos vanish......why spend all that time to do a vid live or not....only to have little to 0 marketing ability? Not trying to tell Ryan how to do anything....just does not make sense to have such important info fall to triviality as it is so quickly gone.

Does Ryan not have the ability to have these video/streams recorded or on a platform that can do that?

Instagram makes them dissapear after 24 hours so he would have to stream on YouTube so they stick around. I agree that they should be posted for longer because it's easy to miss them for a day if you're not glued to Instagram or don't have alerts set up. RBT info in general is scarce so the more the better IMO.

Last live IG was pretty cool, Ryan used and talked a lot about the Mi3, he even unscrewed the bottom plate to show us the inside of the beast. Can't wait to use it, maybe for Christmas !
you still can watch it on IG
