Question about the ash of bud and vaporizing...

Okay so the bud i'm smoking now turns an ashy black soot like quality after smoked which from what i've been reading is because it wasn't flushed properly. My question is if I vaporized my bud will it turn ashy black as well? The whole thing with me getting a vaporizer is because it was healthier for my lungs. Since my bud probably wasn't flushed right it still probably has some of the chemicals in it (correct me if i'm wrong) and will this affect the health aspect of me vaporizing it?

Much appreciated!

A vaporizer is healthier for your lungs, no question. If you wind up with ashy black remains in a vaporizer, you've taken it too close to combustion in my opinion. ABV should be dark brown at most. Even if you vape to a dark brown, there's still some goodies left. Mind you, by that point vaping has already delivered more of the desirable components than combustion does. Not only is the delivery healthy, with the right vaporizer you can control which components you're getting with simple temperature control.

Vaporization does allow you to get almost everything out of the material but to do that, you'll need to process your ABV somehow. Cooking with it is one way, ISO extraction is another. Some people actually smoke it. The chemicals that are left tend to be sedatives so it's often used to aid sleeping.

Okay so pakalolo or anyone else for that matter...does it matter that when I use my one hitter right now and it combusts my weed which instead of turning an ashy gray/white after being combusted which usually means the plant was flushed the right way during growing, it turns black and soot-like?

So even taking into consideration that while i'm now combusting my weed and its turning out as ashy black instead of a gray/white will that impact my vaporization? The reason i'm asking all of this is because I read that since my weed is turning ashy black it means I might be ending up smoking some of the nutrients/chemicals that didnt get flushed out before harvesting...will vaporization eliminate these hazards?

My current stash still gets me high when combusted but I just dont like the thought of those extra chemicals being inhaled along with a really un-weed like smell once combusted...so is vaporization a way to get over this burden?
