Discontinued Ghost MV1

Will there ever be an update, so that the Ghost MV1 won’t suck your battery dry in standby mode?

I am no heavy user and in my area supplies can be difficult.

I don’t see the point in regularly reconnecting anyway, besides some data collection maybe?

Of course I can remove the battery after every usage, so no pressure, but I read, such an option is planned, so I wanted to ask. :-)

When this happens I insert the battery into the ghost and turn it on by pressing mode button. I remove battery from ghost and then plug battery back into usb. Light comes on and it charges for the 8hrs(it seems) or so that is needed.

I only have one battery where the USB red charging light didn't (doesn't?) come on. I don't know what I did that made it come on -- whether it came on after I put it in the fast charger or the vape, I don't recall, but I will pay attention going forward.

@ghostvapesofficial - Narissa, I did question GhostOps (I believe) closely on this on VLF. But can you please confirm or deny that Stealth MV1s are the same configuration as all other current production except for coating/finishes.

Cheers

I have confirmation that they are the same configuration, same hardware and software. We have not had any reports about performance.

Our firmware update should be coming out soon. I wish I could give you a definite time frame. Once I hear anything, I will let everyone know.

Thanks Nerissa.

Let's show it again in big bold letters and hopefully put this to bed:

Brother....this isn't about you, per se, or what you were told by Virgil.

Well that's how the topic got started ....and I understand others bring it up over and over but when you discount peoples experience s as not possible then you are doing a disservice to this. thread...IMO

NO...its what I have been trying to tell you....please read carefully....this topic has been CONTINUALLY raring its head since the release of the Stealth, posted by others and here and on other boards, and well BEFORE your post which was only the latest installment. :bang:

As far as discounting people's subjective experience against the actual configuration and engineering of the device, I will take the later EVERY time and don't see that as a disservice to the board in any manner or form.

I'm out of here.

@Baron23 and @Djsleepy I've just removed some posts and edited others. If you two want to take up this conversation via PM feel free to do so, but let's not drag this thread any further off topic.

Thank you.

Yes, and older units could still be being sold by vendors other than ghost if they still have old stock.

In other words, I'd buy from ghost and buy a stealth. Avoid middlemen warranty issues.

WOW the ghost stealth is JUST THAT GOOD finally got to try mine fast smooth and potent Simply the Best in mybook

Has anyone here ordered directly from Ghost to Canada? I assume they would ship out of the U.S. and I'm wondering if I wound get hit with and handling fees or duty in addition to GST?

In the earlier posts last year, some wrote it cost them an extra $60 for duty. Better off buying it somewhere in Canada.

Thanks for the heads up, I must have missed that. I read the whole thread but I couldn't recall. Yeah just holding out for 420 sales now, hopefully there is something on this side of the border. I am obsessed with this unit and I don't even have it yet lol.

All is good since got.my MV1!!!!! Hope you have been doing well.yourself.....this is where we.should have been instead of Haze...even with early.productions issues it seemed.still to function better than Square on a good day....lol

I have the MV1 and I really like the performance of it. As long as I remember to unplug the battery when not in use, everything works out fine. A little bulky for the pocket in my opinion, but I do it anyways. I know they say you don't have to stir the crucible but my honest assessment of mine has shown me otherwise.
None of this would make me not recommend it though

Doing well man! The MV1 is a vapor producer. I love it! The flavor is on point for a convection vape. I would honestly say the Haze has it beat in terpene flavor just BARELY. However, the Haze is the most complicated draw with hardly any vapor most times, and the most pain in the ass cleaning process of any vape I've ever used. With all the ongoing issues since the Square launch I'm not surprised Haze went belly-up, they must have been bleeding money with returns and warranty exchanges. I am pissed because I was hopeful for a "free" V2 upgrade being an early adopter.... that's clearly out the window!

Anyways, I digress. The Ghost is frikking crazy cool. Swappable batteries, super easy to clean, pod system make its just as fast to swap pods as the Haze was, super effecient and fully extracts dry herbs with ZERO stir for me, and customer service that is more on point than anything else I own - vaporizer or not! Instant service and replies and amazing CS.

I also want to give a shout out to Cream City Vapes where I bought it. Dan (the owner) is frikking awesome and they also do right by their customers every time.

I'm a Ghost MV1 user for good, and a huge fan of Cream City Vapes for their amazing CS and bundle pricing!

Now... time to toast a few crucibles and kick this day in the nuts! :sherlock::rockon:

Ok here is my results and observations of the the stealth MV1 after 1 day and two nights and 75+ crucibles....

IME.....abv is evenly dark, vibration toned way down(plus in my book), and ZERO overheats!!!!!!!

IMO....unit feels lighter when comparing both stealth and.black and chrome, unit doesn't seem to get as hot even after 4-5 back to back crucibles.

So I'm staying with the Stealth ....mainly due to no overheats....Thanks to Virgil and @ghostvapesofficial for all your help!!!! CS is awesome!

Day 10 - found the sweet spot! Been using only the MV1 stealth for 10 straight days now. Even while on the go. I've been able to make it work in place of the pax and IQ, if slightly more cumbersome. I appreciate the ability to rip off a whole crucible in 3 hits if desired, but I LOVE it for a nice tasty session at lower temps the most!
