First desktop vape

I`ve been using a flightbox for years now, but since i only use it indoors, i thought i might better get me a dedicated desktop vape. The flightbox with the poweradapter still works fine but i would like to have something with a little more power, and exact adjustable temperature.

What i vape:

Outdoor grown flowers, and every now and then a little hash.

How i vape:

Trough a bubbler

What would i like:

Exact temperature adjustment. Power! So no temperature dropping while i inhale fast. Cloudy vapor would be nice. Balloons? Hmm maybe, but i only want a big fat hit that delivers. That takes some time with the flightbox. I don`t use outdoors or during the day, only at nighttime, then i watch some tv and go to bed. Easy cleaning is nice and it should not produce a canna-odor trough the whole house. Also, good support, like Magic Flight gives with their launchboxes and if a part is broken i would like to buy a new part, not a whole new device.

What would i pay:

Depends. Quality has its price, but $400-500 would be too much. Accessories should not be too pricey ass well. Like, only brand, premium mesh screens will fit and they cost you $10 a piece.

And i would be nice if i could buy it in Europe

What have i found so far:

Arizer Extreme Q, i like way it looks, works with directly connected bubblers as well. Good price.
Vulcano Digit, good solid quality device but i don`t like the balloon system. Also quite expensive.

Hey here are some vaporizers worth checking . The Extreme Q is also a solid choice and looks like it fits your bill but here is whats fresh below :).
Edited : Just realized i am recommending vapes out of the price range, you are probably looking for something in the EQ range.
Musa Vaporizer - http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/musa-wooden-vape.23239/ Produced in Germany.
Also Check budget HI and Bamboo HI they are from the US but imo logvapes are very efficient and durable and totally temp controllable with a simple dimmer.

Anyway if you decide you wanna cough up more

Herborizer made in France ,they have new version coming soon .http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/herborizer-corner.83/
Flowerpot - Available at Vapefiend You can get cheap controller from ebay for 100$ if you decide you dont like the full bundle and get just the nail. http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/newvape-flowerpot-twax-vaporizer.23162/
The Glass Symphony it has to be ordered from USA,but it is like an all glass airpath verdampfer style heater which is considered the absolute beast as far as it goes for stable temps and cloud density. BUt it is breakable ,although parts are easy to find in chemical supply stores. I would go with Flowerpot if i was a clumsy person.

Vapexhale Evo. Great for flowers and water pipe usage. No temp drop. Only negative is the glass bamboo tube can whistle if you draw too hard - it's a good training aid on when to back off your draw so you can allow the heat to soak the herb. https://vapefiend.co.uk sell it. However I am also US and I don't know how the Evo track record is with 220v - vapefiend could tell you.

I sometimes use glass joints and whipping, but mostly I invert the EVO directly into the WP I am using. I've not tried a Hydratube but my buddy got a VXH Lynx and it works pretty well. You just need a WP that has an 18mm female joint, or use an 18/14mm reducer.

As to cleaning all that I've ever done is soak the ELB baskets in Everclear (151 proof vodka). The only part to order more of is spare ELBs.

NewVape Flowerpot is another great herb vaporizer that also supports concentrates, but there seems to be a lot more parts and things to clean plus you need something to store the hot coil on. They sell trays for putting coils on, but I also keep reading statements from folks who accidentally scorched their carpets by dropping the coil by mistake.

I’ve seen a handful of reports of scorched carpet or significant burns in the hundreds of pages of the FlowerPot thread...yes, they are legitimate risks if you’re not careful or don’t have good motor control, but I wouldn’t (and didn’t) let that steer me away from one of the best vaporizers out there. :)

As for cleaning, all you really have to clean is the bowl and screen (I just stick it in iso and then dry it), and the dabbing surface if you use it. Very easy!

Is the vapefiend distributing this in Europe? Could be wrong.

Yes, Vapefiend does sell them in Europe. There is some markup, but the wait should be a lot shorter.

I also meant to say before that while I do very much recommend the FlowerPot, I hear the Herborizer (which is also about to get an update) is similar in many ways and cheaper for Europeans. The Evo and some others mentioned above are also solid options.

I don’t think many people would be disappointed if they tried a random one of at least those three, but everyone’s going to have their favorite(s) for different reasons.

Plenty of people still love the Volcano too, and even the EQ, so don’t think the options you came in with aren’t worth considering. I was about to buy a Volcano the day I started reading about the FlowerPot, and I feel like I found a gem, not like I dodged a bullet. If you listen to people who have used your options and then tried the others we’re suggesting though, most of their EQs and even Volcanos are not the front line anymore.

Pretty much any modern desktop should outperform your MFLB, so if you want the best you have some recommendations, and if not there are plenty of cheaper options that should still have decent performance.

Thanks everyone for the replies. That Flower Pot looks like it`s made to do the job. No nonsense, well performing, but isn`t the focus for that device on dabbing, or am i wrong? Dabbing is not really a big thing here (yet) for most people, including myself. And that price..pfew. Quite an investment for a first desktopvape. Maybe after trying a cheaper one for a year and when i`m not satisfied i might buy one.

I like the wood design of those vapes as a mflb-user!;) I would miss the digital temp setting, but maybe i`m a little fixated too much on that. Setting temp with the PA on the FB works fine without a digital screen.

For now i tend to go for the Arizer, also considering the price, and try it for a while, just to find out what i like and don`t like in that device. Maybe later on i might buy a more expensive one, but then i `ll know what exactly what i`m looking for.

Vapir rise 2.0 is my recommendation. Best desktop I’ve used. I don’t use it all the time now though. It’s a pain to always plug in and put away after. I don’t have a vape room. If I did. Be a different story.

I haven’t used an EQ, and I believe there are some techniques for getting performance closer to the other devices mentioned, but you will still have another level to step up when you’re ready.

The FlowerPot isn’t just for concentrates though. The ShowerHead version still has a titanium dabbing surface in case you want it, but I only use it for flower 95% of the time, and it was optimized for flower.

NewVape did just release a new version which should be great for people who use a lot of both, so there will probably be some ShowerHeads showing up in the classifieds before too long, and again they’re great for even exclusive flower use.

Either way you go you should be happy. :)

Having destroyed thousands in glass over the decades and being 4/5's retarded I find the volcano to be my perfect fit.
Flawless, perfect performance no mess and most importantly.........no broken glass.
Seriously if you ever had to explain the shards in the bottom of your foot to the doc in the ER..........broken glass is bad.
