I was going to mention, that making Cruise 120 seconds seems to have helped with the batteries. I very rarely get a weak battery warning now.
Can always put the Tubo back into cruise for another 2 minutes.

I don't know. I just figured it'd be good to remain vocal about it since not many others report usage and I do use often...
I paid full price and receive nothing for posting. What's the point of having a forum if I only post about how bad it is? What do you think of the Zion thread by contrast? I'm sure you must love it since 40 pages of what is essentially beta testing is too much for you.
I've thought for a little bit about whether or not I wanted to feed this post but lol. What a joke.

what about the threads where people get devices for free/discounts just to beta test and spread hype? these people are selectively picked to receive early access for a reason. and likely grt to pay nothing or get a big discount.

I said some bullshit so please ignore it . I love FC and all of you and never meant to get judgemental.. Sorry for sharing my observations from the forum in a way that stirred trouble..I am a bit crazy in the head,often moody and try to deal with it.. also my english gets even worse when i am stoned and i tend to go literal in my inhead translation,and often i dont feel the words that i am saying like others do,cause that dont sound as bad in my headspace. It is just my twisted point of view IDK.. Never meant offense to anyone.. Please keep asking i am glad to reply when i have time or some else of great guys here will chime in..

1) I dont like the Zion looks,thread and it is far too expensive for my situation,also is from the OTher side of the big blue which delivers a lot of shipping cost and 20% taxes... This is one of the ways to deal with my VAS in bad financial times. I would never would have touched the magic of tubo if it wasnt for my GF's shared passion in vaporizers and her birthday.. (stars alined,destiny fullfilled
) We did split the cost between the two of us but we paid full price as you did.
2)I have already shared my feelings about reviewing beta testing and stuff,and i wont be anymore.. My feelings are similiar to yours, i guess thats why we are both gather at this awesome thread here.
3)As already said i dont feel like there are bad posts on this thread.. every positive comment i hear about the tubo makes my heart warm,cause i know my love for it is shared,and i am glad to help others feel it too, please if ANYONE needs some extra help with your tubo ,be not afraid to shoot me a msg !

Earlier i was mentioned that i switched to larger screen size. I have found that herb stays way greener,also i am being able to take 180C rips ,get mega clouds and less sacrifice on taste too compared to tiny mesh size. You should try i sacrificed an old tea strainer,did
cut out a circle and formed it around 14mm joint. The wire itself feels way harder than the tiny mesh .

Same for me. Part of that is that I get a low battery message at 50%. But I have a 4 battery charger so I really don't care. I just automatically put a new battery in when I start a session.I can only get only One to 2 sessions out of my battery. Also the unit gets to hot use after just one stem
I load mine into the bowl and then put the cap on. Just a pinch of herb. Not sure why that matters.
As for heat, my sessions tend to be long- cruise and then on demand. If I want to have a second bowl I wait in part because of the heat and in part because I don't know whether to have a second unless I wait.

Effectively creating a new vape category..."on-demand session" mode!
My preferred method as well.
If I want to vape a small load, I typically use a different vaporizer. But when I get tired of messing with it, out comes the Tubo....less trouble and no charring.

I actually do stir for taste reasons, with tiny shallow bowls, though it's only at the end typically and yeah not too necessary. I guess I should try shortening cruise but I still haven't even tried stock screen/cap set up! Haven't even photographed my cracked shorty stem or tried it yet, it works too well in too many ways!

Yeah I haven't tried a deep bowl in so long either, been keeping em shallow and close to the heat, does a small load work well that way? I didn't find it as enjoyable with an elb at least, so far away from heat and yeah high temp since the cap steals heat too... Hmm always more to test, these days I tend to get lazy and just settle in on what first works best I suppose

I notice that you're selling your tubo. Actually that over time you've owned and sold my favorite vapes- zion, milaana and tubo. I have noticed two things that improve battery life for me , i narrowed it down to a combo of brand and usage pattern.
1). While following the same usage pattern different brands give different performance. Sofar i like best the Sony VTC 5a and 6. They give me 4 large bowl session if i drain the battery low. Samsung 30q can get trough 2 large and Efest 35a(20A) can get trough 3. Well first i was just with the samsung and thought that two sessions is really bad.. but i really doubt that there are vapes that can vape more herb per battery than the TUBO. Compared to X-max V2 which gives me 4-5 sessions ,the total amount vaped is less than what tubo is capable of with the same battery.
2). session usage pattern
a) Shorter cruise times , i often forget cruise ON for the whole 240 seconds .. so sometimes i had to go trough 4 cycles till i get a bowl done... LOL... I decreased time to 111 seconds which seems to be the perfect number for me.
b) A good preheat/heatsinking is what divides on demand and cruise mode in performance,but also impacts battery life. Imo cruise is far more forgiving on the battery than on-demand ,when you leave it to heat up for a time,because when you draw the heater will need less juice to compensate the cooling from the ventilation.
Well while preheat might have some positive impact on battery life and performance,but it can also have negative,there is golden middle in terms of saving battery life. After being on for two cycles i find no longer needed to wait for the cruise to progress before inhalation,also cruise and on demand start to feel equal in performance,so i feel that the heater working when you not inhaling or after that is wasteful.
- Cold start (Cold heater + Cold bowl). I switch cruise on,after 90 seconds (2/3 of my progress bar) i start hitting at 175. I get thin tasty vapor if i load into the gong,or i get a fat rip if it is loaded in the cap(when i use cap method i start at 155-160 and get same results as 175 in the big cold gong tempwise.
After that cruise is over. I restart again and start hitting when progress bar is 1/3 - 1/2 = massive rips. I switch cruise off after i am finished with the draw.
From here i go either in on demand or i start hitting right after cruise starts and turn it off after the hit.

I don't understand why you don't achieve the same 4 large bowls with a Samsung 30q battery as you do with a Sony VT6 if the are both 15amp and 3000 mAH batteries?

Many guys get batteries from sources like fastech which purchase in large batches and someone got lemons.. a.k.a rewrapped shitty batteries,i have a friend in the e-cig business who says he got burned 3 times by them..
