In the beta thread I said previously that we should emphasize the power aspect, because I thought it was truly the most powerful portable out there (45~50W) but it appears the CF/CFX have a peak power output of 80W, and I forgot that the FlowerMate 8 is capable of 120W (but in usage it doesn't feel that powerful it just heats very quick)...

But it's still the most powerful convection portable on the market (Mighty is 30W, FW4 will be around that but still lower than Mi, forgot the FW2 figure but it's not stellar...) Only the Bud Toaster comes close but it's not really a commercial product as of now.

So usually I dislike when slogans include "the most XXX" or "world's first YYY" because it's usually bullshit, but here it's true so why not take the opportunity.... ?

Does Charcol frequent this thread any longer or would it be best to reach out to RBT directly for support? My Milaana's power has tapered off recently and seems under powered than what I am used to. Normally a 5-10 second draw I had to be careful before it would be close to combustion but now I can go past 25 seconds with little heat and this is from testing 3 fully charged batteries. I went to the site and filled out the form but no response yet.
That's funny. I've owned three and I've not even been able to bring it to the brink of combustion on either. A 12 to 15 second preheat usually gets me a hit at I'm guessing around 370 and up. Under 400 I would guess. I've never really had the burnt popcorn taste.

Oh really, which one worked, the post or the tab tweak?

Suggestion to @RastaBuddhaTao maybe consider using some red-type (ie. non permanent) thread locking on that post? Unsure it would be enough though, maybe the strong one would be required (it can still be removed by applying heat to the metal part)

Of course that's assuming that post is screwing into a metal part (I have no clue what it goes into)

The post, it worked instantly, i had not realised it could come loose or be screwed in further:rockon:

Whenever i read unregulated, it makes me think of something negative, like the wild west or prohibition, so although it's a good thing for Milaana, i don't see it as good for a slogan, but maybe that's just me.

I prefer something like untamed, or untapped.

Untamed power. Untapped potential. Power at your fingertips. That sort of thing.

I also see hand crafted as a strong suit. Artisan products seems to be a thing.

Is the wild west negative? Wild wild west sure seemed like fun (and prohibition is attempted regulation no?):p;)

Hand crafted / artisan is absolutely a key point we want to hit on.

Always nice to get some confirmation in where we were thinking of going :)

Wow ddave you are an interesting man. I hope that spoiler was as a result of too many DDave mod hits. I'll take that as smart advertising.

Edit:
Decided to put the Milaana through water so figured I'd film it. Finished the bowl in three nice, long, consistent milky hits. Good lookin ABV at the end too! Was a good session. The effects are more extreme than I thought they'd be. No complaining here :tinfoil:

Nice. Well done with the finger indicator letting us know when you were pressing.

I feel like my load would have for sure been scortched, probably combusted with the basket that close and that much pressing. Was the battery at 100%?

I'm finally able to intuit how/when to feather the button to maintain temps with direct draw as there is the heat feedback there. Are you basing your modulation off feel from mostly using that way or are you actually using some kind of cue?

Thanks man!
Lol yeah, I know yours runs hotter. Mine is still on the hot side imo, but yours seem more so.

Battery was at 100% or very close to. Probably 100. Remember I also did no tamping, I just poured from my Doob tube and vaped. Also draw rate might affect it. I wasn't pulling fast, but also not my usual super slow draw.

My feedback is "it's been X amount of time (based off intuition from using it so much), so it should be reaching Y Temp, and vapor should be starting to pour through soon."
I predict where my heater is at based off what I feel (dry) or what I see (water). If it's been like X seconds and vapor hasn't produced, I imagine I'm about to hit a big spike in temperature, just from what I know about my unit and my personal variables in use.
I've said this before, but it's important to let off a bit during a spike, idk if I'm the only one that feels em, but my unit is a gradual increase for a second or 2 into a spike, back into a gradual increase. When I hit 3.5k rpm in my car I get a nice boost, but it levels back out before I get to shift.

I have no objective, systematic way of getting through my sesh. It is a moment by moment adjustment, like taking a turn in a car. You are always slightly adjusting your steering wheel and gas.
I go into very hit with a "we'll see how this goes" kind of attitude. But that also follows my personality type, some people are more list oriented. Step by step.

If I hold the button for 4 seconds, I just adjust accordingly, 2 seconds, 0 seconds, doesn't matter, the journey will be different but the end of the hit will always yield the result that I want.

Hmm. Trudging out to the well or nearest stream to get water, freezing in the winter, baking in the sun, possibly getting molested or killed by the dude with the biggest gun...not my idea of fun...

Prohibition was beyond attempted regulation. Although Regulation is definately better than outright banning, Which works, right. We all here can attest to that, right ....ha ha ha.

I Probably have not used the best examples, but i get your point. These words can have different meanings for different people. I guess unregulated (to me) sounds kind of unsafe (no regulation of the industry), which given it's intended purpose i think should be avoided in advertising.

Of course, theres always the other angle. Unregulated = the bad boy. The maverick.

I just don't know how many people would realize that unregulated speaks to all the good stuff...unbridled power, choose your own path etc.

Edit- What was i thinking... I'd be molested by the dude with the quickest draw. Size has nothing to do with it...

Really liking the Vortex stem/GonG from @PlanetVape. I have been using it as a mouthpiece as well as a GonG with my J hook. A very nice well made GonG with a nice heavy duty basket. I haven't hooked it up to my bubblers yet. I ordered 2 and ended up with another 2 in the mail the next day. Not sure if I accidentally ordered again or if it was a mistake on their part? I will look at my statement. Oh well, now I have 4.

I have been using a firm pack. I click on the trigger a couple seconds before I start drawing then after a few more seconds I let up and continue to draw for 6 - 10 more seconds or so . Depending if I'm using a fresh battery and the harshness factor of the bud I'm using. This little portable packs a punch before bed. It's as strong and powerful as any desk tops ive used.

I keep ice water close by just in case I go too long on the trigger. This unit does a good job of extracting all the goodies from your cannabis.

I think the perfect portable for all those combustion junkies. I think this vape could help to convert some of them.
Thank you to everyone who have spent their time adding to this thread for the newcomers on the scene.

If it's the bottoming out issue on the vaporizers that have a "short" oven depth of under 1"

The minimum depth of the screen from the top of the rim on the female glass is 23.5 mm. This allows for clearance on the longest RBT 19/22 mm mouthpiece.

Oh really, which one worked, the post or the tab tweak?

Thanks @KeroZen for answering this question... I was focused on getting the shop ready for the video yesterday. This issue was discovered at unit 89 and we are now securing the head of the screw inside the unit. Eventually there will be trouble shooting and repair videos to help our customers with this and other issues (loose glass / bottom cap, bent contact, battery wrapper damage, etc). Special thanks to all that are helping and guiding new users. Shout out to all of you helping to zero in on a slogan. We might not use suggestions to the letter but @RBTCustomerService will pick three of the best and quietly send the author a thank you gift :)

This might be my favourite slogan for RBT yet. It speaks to the versatility as well as being similar to "vape different" without being the same as the apple slogan. I also like that it is active (as opposed to passive). It is also quick and memorable.
@RBTCustomerService
I love this speaks to the uniqueness of the brand. Thanks for your thoughts!
