If your UK based then British Sugar is one of the biggest and owed by people in power so will be around for a while. I'm not sure if they're breeders or just growers but there the biggest legal growers in the UK as far as I know.

I thought this was my problem at first with the wood charring but my base washer wasn't thick enuff, The ceramic bulb mount was ok but I may just pop some spacers under the screws that hold it down. 'll take more pics when I get chance.

My first halogen log, still in test mode but it's lookin good... The wood for the log was salvaged 45 years ago from my parents house roof it was one of the main trusses (it snapped) it's been in the garage since.
