Do we use the regular oil carts with the Persei, or are there new oil cartridges coming out for the Persei to handle the higher voltage?

I see with this other unit you only get about 10 hits per battery charge (it uses 2 batteries). They include 6 batteries and a charger with their kit. How many hits/minutes will the Persei give per battery charge with the various battery configurations?

So a physical break in BOTH wires would give you an incomplete circuit, thus no continuity and no reading on the meter? If so that would explain what I'm seeing in the bad cartridge I have.

I edited my post with some pictures showing that I too do get 2.4 on the 2 good cartridges I tested. The reason I got an inaccurate reading of 2.7 (and again I was just doing a continuity test) was that I just lightly laid the probe on top of the cartridge. Except for the bad cartridge I have...

thanks for summing it up nicely. all I wanted to show was, imo, all that's needed to 'test' a cartridge is something that tests continuity and I happened to use a meter I had on hand. A couple pieces of wire, battery and flashlight bulb would work just as well. THCScientific, please correct...

How much oil does the new shorter cartridge hold? Are you still producing the larger cartridge too? Are they interchangeable? Could put a longer cartridge on a Centauri if you wanted?

The fill tool looks really nice! Looking forward to trying it out, the pastry tip is too much of a pita for me, eye dropper worked way easier, but this looks like no leaks, no balancing act, just stick concentrate/vial into the top, heat and watch it fill.
