Im good for the moment, still have the spare cyclone that came with my EQ. The tuff bowl looks cool from afar, little surprised to hear people don't like it.

@medibles, Your post inspired me to get some new elbows ordered. Even though I dont think the glass is deceptively easy to break. I mean, drop a cyclone or an elbow on a concrete floor, and the glass components will break. That should not surprise anybody.

Right now I'm using the raised screen method for blowing bags between 200-230C. With the raised screen I'm using very small amounts and getting great results. I've realized I can use less herb than previously thought. Like others here have said, you can use just enough to cover the screen...

My bad man, for some reason I thought you were asking if you should just keep the Q on 24/7. I have the 2 hour timer on so the Q doesn't run for too terribly long when I get couch lock and forget about it.

I would guess, NOT running your unit all day-every day, would help avoid extra stress. Don't you think? I even unplug mine from the wall when not in use.

Ive been playing with blowing bags at 210 up to 230 the last couple days, and do notice a stronger effect. At first I thought those temps were too high for me. The EQ showed its power because it will pretty well scorch your stash if you leave it sitting at those temps for an extended period...

Tried using reggie in the Q because I was going through a lot of nugs while "experimenting" with my new toy. Taste and high are still good. Just did one bag at 190 C and feeling good.

Okay that might make sense actually. This issue seems to happen much more frequently when I am in front of my t.v. where I have 3+ remotes , as opposed to my desk where the Q usually resides.

Okay I might have an issue with my EQ unit. A couple of times now I will be in the middle of a session and I look at the display....suddenly the temperature has dropped dramatically to a random number, or risen.
