Thanks for the detailed responses. It appears I can't run the Quartz like this though. When I place them on in this order all seems fine until I place the halo on and go to screw in the retaining nut, there is not enough thread for it to fill screw in. A assume this is not normal? Cheers

interested to know what you mean by this. I run mine with Quartz halo. But I have the metal base. Then the washer looking metal peice. Then the coil with halo direct on top. Am I missing something on this? Like to run my quartz between 267C and 297C dependant material and mood Hope all are well
