I have one that has stuck many times. I only get it off by soaking in alcohol. I just put it in a tiny container where the alcohol can cover the cap but does not touch the o rings. I finally took that cap and put it on my OG.

Hey I have a problem. The cap is stuck on my omni tip. I mean stuck. It was hard to take off a couple times but now it is well seated. It does not loosen by heating. I have not soaked it yet. Anyone have an idea? I am thinking that it might be the SS cap that came with the M and I mixed it up.

By the second round it does get too hot to hold down the body near the tip. I was pretty surprised. I do not mean that to say it is not usable after two rounds. It just gets that hot by all the "heat sinking" going on. (thought i would try to look smart using one of those engineering terms).

Sounds like a faulty cap. I would simply request one from Dynavap. At the most they would probably make you pay shipping but maybe not even that. You have done due dilligence to make it work and it appears the consensus here is that something is not working right. BTW I ran a test on all three...
