Whoa. I just noticed that puffitup has this unit off the front page and listed as not in stock. I imagine this is temporary, but still probably a good move for them considering failure rates they're having to deal with.

Also remember that in both cases where there were cracks near the USB port, the mouthpiece melted beforehand. That absolutely affects performance, and the fact that this plastic continues to crack in other places seems to indicate that this is not just an issue with the mouthpiece.

I love this vape too. I just want it to work reliably and safely. Emily with Vivant and everyone at Puffitup has been incredible to communicate with, so I agree that other than these defects, both companies are doing the right thing here.
