Hey guys!

I am considering buying the Dynavap VapCap Original but I don't know much about it, maybe somebody can help?

1. How hot / harsh is the vapor? I read that the MP stays cools, but I would expect the vapor from such a small device as rather harsh, isn't it?

2. I've read that there were differences in terms of draw restriction between the Original VapCap and the newer models? I cannot find the article anymore. What can be said about the Original VapCap?

3.how long does it take to reach temperature when heated up with a normal lighter? I saw a video with a triple torch jet flame lighter and temperature was reached within seconds. On the other hand, I've read you wouldn't get the best performance with a normal lighter?
I ask because I have been thinking about taking the VapCap to public places but having to heat it up with a jet flame wouldn't be possible in these cases I guess :D

Thanks for any help!!!

Woo hoo! Little green package in the mail today. Got a Wenge dynastasher, a blackwood 14mm VonG shorty and an xl mouthpiece kit. This picture is with the original condenser and fits in the dynastasher.

George was kind enough to send me an extra crown to repair my original blackwood body. Now I'm left with a regular length body and an xl condenser tube. May have to order another ti tip, cap and mouthpiece...

WOW!

That pair takes it over the top! Stunning combination! Very nice.

The Wenge has such a great grain (say that 5 times fast) and the Blackwood VonG is drop dead gorgeous!

I'm gonna ask you the same question that I asked @buckhakeesah; are you planing on using this dry or are you a water vaper?

If dry, how do you like it compared to the straight stem?

IMO:
1:
Vapor isn't harsh at all.
Use of the VC differs a little to most other vapes I've used in that you have a choice between carb open or closed which gives two quite different results.
Carb open produces cool vapor as it's mixed with 'fresh' air before you breathe it in.
Carb closed gives much denser vapor, but restriction is such that it encourages (requires even?) mouth pulls as though you are smoking a cigarette or joint, which you then breathe in.
This too is perfectly cool.
The only time I find the VC harsh is when I overheat and scorch or combust.

2:
I only used my OG briefly before giving it to a friend (not because I didn't like it!, to spread the love!) and found it had a little more restriction, but not unreasonable.
I do however think my Ti has an easier draw, and maybe VERY slightly better vapour production.
The OG produces very satisfying results though, no question, well in excess of what you'd reasonably expect at the price (unless you've been reading this thread, then you'll already have a good idea of this!)

3:
Don't bother with a normal lighter, the extended heating time required to get to the click destroys any stealth advantage gained by the absence of the minimal noise/appearance of the torch lighters.
A normal lighter also produces soot which isn't a massive problem, but I did find that I got the slightest taste added to the vapor with a normal bic.
It didn't ruin the experience, but did taint it EVER SO SLIGHTLY.
Others seem to have no problem with taste when using a bic, so maybe it's the cheap ass butane I use or something.
ABSOLUTELEY no 'tane taste with a torch.
Getting the job done quickly is the greatest boon to stealth though.

Yet another beautiful stash and VC!
We need a thread dedicated to just pic's of Dynavap products!

So just got done emailing with matt about a custom order, and realized that the short vong body, uses the standard condenser and requires a mp. I don't really care for the mp as it would be solely a water piece. Anyone see any flaws with cutting the condenser to flush with the body?

It's a shame we can't get the W9 doughnuts here in the UK

@Copacetic do you mean one of those? I so you can by them in Germany from verdampftnochmal and
ask them if they can send to you in an envelope. Explain your situation and they should be willing to help you with hat. That way you could save alot of that shipping costs. shoot

Thanks for that Alex.
I was actually referring to the ceramic wicks that folk have been using.
I read a few pages back that these Herculese Ti doughnuts are too big to fit in the Vc, can anyone clarify this?

I would buy the Ti one if it fits.

I'm wondering the samething about if I ordered a woody, are we talking 3 weeks or 6?

I'm in the waiting game for 3+ months.. OV, stash, xl burly,shorty...But am pretty sure I'm the only one waiting this long. Don't know why, guess I got lost. As everyone was talking about stellar communication: George uses to be relatively quick replying, now I'm waiting days and days, then asking again from my side and I'm lucky, if I hear anything back at all. Sadly questions about the changing OV and stash (tools) remained unanswered.. Hope this time I'll get a reply about the xl stash. Asked about that months ago - now it seems to be feasible.. Hopefully for me too.
Last time he responded Matt was put in cc - but no answer from either of them since then. Well, at least I got my new address confirmed - but it's a tight game now, leaving soon and being international:(

To be clear, I don't mean to rant but to give an impression for potential (new) customers to not be frustrated, if it's not shipped in a short time. If I hadn't experienced all these stellar feedbacks about his communication in the beginning, I'd never dare to draw a comparison and don't think one could demand all this crazy work from one person. Certainly it felt almost unreal. So it's all cool with me and I just think I might have been pushed back in line several times plus having had ordered directly thru George and not having received a #, I maybe was forgotten in a way. So special circumstances I guess.
George has been ramping up the production line and has Matt on his side, so I hope, I'm the only one having to wait that long.

Exceptions prove the rule? I'm the man!;)

@Stevenski thanks for your words man. Hope you're enjoying one for me in the mean time.:)

Once more, hope to be joining the cappers family soon... soon..:D

I honestly don't get it @vapen00b I really don't. Get a screen shot of your payment & email it with what has happened to George & Matt. Maybe the OV is causing the delay? If that is the case it would be worthwhile paying two lots of shipping so you can get vaping ASAP.

Unfortunately my burl mouthpiece had a piece crack off but it will be replaced :). Once I find a new job I will be placing a order with Dynavap as I see Blackwood in my future in addition to a few other bits n bobs. Loving seeing all the new VC's landing & that B&W Ebony combo is just stunning .

@collegeKid101 -If I had to make an educated guess based on other peoples postings and my own waiting time I would say turn around on most items is 4-6 weeks. Today is day 30 since I first ordered TI burley, omni, dynastash and a few misc. odds and ends. I wrote George a week ago (he literally responded to my email with in 15 min) just to touch base and check my order status and he said my order should be ready to ship at the end of this week. So that would put me around 33 or 34 days if all goes as indicated.

I know they're on it. Received a pic of some of the goodies last weekend, but I was supposed to have received that literally weeks ago... I guess there must have been some hiccups.
To contribute something likable: you can choose between a shiny and a matte OV body. I go for the shiny.:)

@collegeKid101 Crossing my fingers for you for this week. You might overtake me.. JK!;)

Question for those who have received any order from George, comes with an invoice? Some tax document containing value? Or just the product with its manual operation?

Thanks

Does the dynastash fit in your pocket? I figure it's at least like a wallet in that it fits as long as there's nothing else in the pocket.
