I'm very curious about this thing, it's odd that they haven't released any specifics on this enail when they're shipping on Monday.

I heard rumors on instagram that the full kit will come with a carb cap and a case for it, but I've seen neither of those things in any pictures or videos. Haven't even seen what their quartz or ceramic nail attachments look like.

I definitely like the idea of a portable enail powered by a smaller battery but we'll have to see how it turns out in practice.

I emailed asking what makes theirs different compared to the edabs 510 and the one from greelight and they basically said not much. They mainly highlighted the fact they offer 3 attachments, one being quartz. I don't think the other kits offer quartz. People seem to like the ceramic nails over the Ti nails so I'm curious if the quartz will be any better. I've held out on those other kits until I see how the source one is. Guess we'll find out next week.

Well, I've got the edabs one (and love it) and placed a preorder with source back when it was first announced, so should be able to do a pretty good head-to-head.

Dr. Dabber sells quartz nails now. Ordered two of them. I also have the source nail coming in so I can compare them as well.

The Reddit wax pen subreddits are run by people who are like voluntary w9 shills or something, no offense to w9 but their fans on there are ridiculous and inflammatory is the perfect word. On the other hand I would be shocked if their design happened to come out at the same time as everyone else's and it's "independent." little to no chance of that. I look forward to the day when the cannabis device industry is less overrun with lies and half-truths

That's part of what I'm talking about. If they really were ready to ship and had all the logistics figured out for this product there would be no reason not to show people how good it is to get more orders placed.

To me that implies they aren't as close to having a polished finished product that's ready to ship like you suggest.

I found that out last night. I was soaking my 2 xl coils and was thinking my V3 would fit. Didn't work so I thought my V3 coils were all bad.

If you email them they will order you a replacement bottom. It's still back ordered and they don't have any ETA for when they will be available. Apparently not all the Orb XL's got that V3 fitting. It's soured my view on source.

SOURCE confirmed that the full temp control enail kit will come with a quartz carb cap/dabbing tool as well as an "updated" water attachment.

When it ships however... Who knows but I pre-ordered it on day 1 and haven't received a shipping email yet so we'll see.

Some quick notes on the full enail kit:

comes with a case, quartz carb cap, ceramic, titanium, and quartz nail attachments.

The quartz nail is a titanium nail with a ceramic donut at the bottom and a quartz cup insert that goes between the ceramic donut and the titanium.

The temp control battery has an led screen with various power and nail type settings.

Haven't tried it yet but I'll update when I get a chance.

Thanks for posting. Now I see why they rushed to sell these via blind preorder. Im struggling to see how these are going to perform significantly better than a regular wax vape. Hope I'm wrong.

So with the Orb XL now compatible with these coiless nails, what settings would be appropriate on a boxmod? ie: what would be a safe wattage range in Variable Wattage mode? Would any of these be compatible with boxmods in Temperature Control mode?
