Ive had 3 different models of mighry so to speak..first one was 1 minute shutoff and mighty raced to temp and stopped right on and each draw would take 10 to 15 degrees off..and my second would race to temp but overshoot by about 5 degrees and stay there but when i would take a draw it would go down to my set temp only not lower maybe by 1 degree..now my new model crawls to set temp and gets there and does the thing where it take 10 to 15 degrees off when i draw and then crawls back to temp..they said set higher but ive had a run of six months of not the best flower so i have been high temp vaping because not much taste to good anyways..lol..but yeah so different in these 3 editions of mighty..the last two models were also 2 minute shut off version.

The War on Drugs got another victim.. My "gf" (I kind of not call her that way because of her behaviour) threw my Mighty into the toilet because I'm such an asshole yada yada...

Guess I have to send it to S&B. Basically I just needed new fins, now this :(

Good luck with s and b..i was just told that i can send my new replacement unit in but that the difinition of a working unit according to them is if it produces vapor then it works??lol..it gets more comical the more these clowns open their mouth..

Happy Mighty owner checking in. I hardly ever post on FC because I got the Mighty early on as my first real proper vape and thus never needed any further buying advice. Since I abandoned combustion I've become a comfort snob and want to graduate to water cooling now.

Can anyone recommend a good bubbler combo setup for the Mighty? I don't have anything but the Mighty; no bongs or anything to start with. I'd prefer a semi-portable rig if practical.

Thanks all!

you'll need to "connect" to water so
check out FC member @Ratchett and his Delta 3D Studios. He makes Silicone connectors (Songs) for connecting your Mighty to a water piece. He has thread on here---visit his store.
Two options: picture is the bigger Song. You remove top half of cooling unit and Song snugs on. Can use with hydratube or inverted into a bubbler.
Second option is his small silicone tip that slides onto your Mighty mouthpiece and can go into a bubbler or Hydratube.
Water really is nice with any vape---vapor is VERY dry and water moisturizes it

I use the pinnacle pro shower tool attached to @Ratchett 14 mm Song and it is a setup I enjoy using with my crafty. You can also pick up a very similar water tool from dhgate.com for probably half the price

Thanks! Hey which water pipe is that (in your pic)? That looks quite portable. Do those smaller portable water pipes cool as well as the normal sized ones? One would expect the smaller volume of water to quickly get saturated with heat. But what the hell do I know - that's why I'm soliciting advice from the pros.

I just googled that one - looks big enough to hold sufficient water but still portable. Will shop dhgate - thanks...

exept when I clean my oven and see dental pick scratches shinning back to me :)
I know I have said this a bunch of times, but a magic eraser is under $2 cleans the bowl like new and leaves no scratches...just a thought.

@subway13029 I believe you on the performance drop...you might just have a underpowered mighty, just send it back. I do know the ten days can be rough.

@Boxman , that small glass water piece on the Mighty is from @Ratchett 's Delta 3D Studios site so I don't know what it is. It might be a Pinnacle piece but ???
PM Ratchett. That is nice and small and a really small amount of water can really help moisturize the vapor for much smoother use..

What about cooling down the vapor? Do those micro water pipes do this well enough that one doesn't need a "normal" sized bubbler? Portability is nice but not if that leaves you with still-hot vapor. I know the Mighty already puts out cooler vapor than probably any other vape, but like I said, I've become a comfort snob. Owning an S&B product does that to you. :)

To me one of the small pinnacle style tubes dont do much in the line of water filtration or cooling the hit..its such a small amount of water..now if you pair the mighty with a full size hydratube from vxl then were talking..but imo the ssmaller ones dont offer much but some people swear by them..

If used with room temperature water you may not notice much of a difference. What I find works for me is using ice cold water and then placing crushed ice on the top. I must warn you that if using this method you must be careful because as the ice melts it can add too much water which can cause the water to spill unto your vape. I personally just keep the glass of ice water I used to fill up the vape and pour water back into the glass when I see the level is getting too high. :2c:

I find vapor irritating on my bottom teeth and gums to the point i can feel tingling vibration after 20m session and no matter how much water i add ice the only real thing that cools it down to feel like breathing in the Artic. Do you ever notice honey on the side of the glass? I only ever did it with a little EHLE 100ml but damm it ripped with ice but there was always some honey build up i could get too near the ice notch :(

Take away the ice, no honey buildup! Also the only reason i go near water at all is to microfilter and trap particles. I see tonnes in the bottom of the herborizer bubbler tube and i like the way they stay there and not in my lungs. I doubt even airway mucus can trap them all. And for people who say well how do you breathe in dirt and dust well this is what nosehairs are for. :)

In short i hate hate hate dry hits.

Vapor is only mildly warm when you get 2 inches out from the heat chamber BUT it is very very very dry.
To better deal with moisturizing your vapor, try using warm/hot water as it transfers moisture much better than cool water. It gives the vapor a soothing, moisturized feel.

Your 20 minute session is likely drying out your teeth and gums. Get some moisture mixed in and feel the difference.
You may think its odd but it really does work.

IMO cold water and ice should be reserved for those combustion folks whose smoke needs cooling. Smoke starts out about 600 degrees F hotter than vapor so it needs cooling. Vapor needs moisture IMO

Bonus--warm water condenses out less goodies. Note where your biggest oil deposit was---right by the ice!!
If you try, report back please

Tomorrow hopefully but it is a pain to keep the water warm, and cold thus 99% of the hits are at room temp like most folks i imagine. There is enough stuff to do as someone else said with cleaning his "glass and ass" and now running back and forth with cubes or hot cups.

I get the idea, I actually like that warm menthol thing you do with a cold, I also like the ice cubes too though but if only i could get at that damm oil! I wonder if you designed a particular design could you trap it the same principle used in the sublimator is apparantly the same reason the blob keeps accumulating with ice on the notches? Anyone know if the sublimator venturi cools and makes it condense to thier atomizer 14mm tube thing?

Hi guys im new here i dont have a mighty yet but will be in the club soon :).

I have a question for the warm/hot water users here, i have a glass connection that connects my volcano balloon to my bong and i've found that useing hot water without the down stem to be the most effective/smooth when i use a down stem into the water hot or cold i notice a loss of potency (well i seem to get less effect) and not a very smooth vape but useing the bong without a downstem so the vapour just draws over the top of hot water it seems to make it much more pleasant (moist) to vape but with no loss in potency.

Im intrested as to how others like this way of vapeing?.

Also Rodders83 you have given me the idea to try (balloon before i get mighty) with no down stem hot/warm steamy water and then ice cubes in the body (longbit :p) moist cool and not filtered cant wait to try it :ko:.

Soak in isopropyl for about an hour, stirring a bit, then remove unit and put in hot soapy water, then filter isopropyl through coffee filter onto plate, let evaporate the scrape up with a couple of razer blades

What's everyone's method on reclaiming the oil out of the cooling chamber?
Welcome.
Another variation on cleaning the cooling unit;

Pull off mouthpiece and separate top/bottom halves. Leave screen in place. Put the parts in a ziplock baggie and add 1 or 2 oz of iso. alcohol (pure as you can get!). Squeeze air out & close it. Put the baggie into a glass of really hot tap water. Pull it out and shake once or twice and after 10 or 20 minutes in the hot water, open the baggie, pick out the parts and transfer them to a dish of soapy water, then rinse all thoroughly. You can then filter the iso if you like and evaporate the alcohol as described by @peterpiper above.

I like to harvest the oil (reclaim) from the cooling unit before the iso cleaning. Scrape out the gooey oil and put it on an oil pad (or in a blob of pure cotton) for later. If you scrape it well, you might not bother with the evaporation, since you've already reclaimed most by scraping directly (and it's not contaminated at all with alcohol that way).

Some folks view the reclaim as "dirty stuff". I think they mistakenly view it as similar to the crap you'd clean out of a smoking pipe, but it is not. I see it as siimply pure vapor that has condensed before reaching your mouth. Same material that you vape can be re-vaped! Generally, using a fine mesh screen as cooling unit screen will help keep particles out of the c/u as well.

What store did you purchase your Mighty through? And it's just general care I would say. Don't drop it and don't get it wet. That's about it. Clean it regularly.

Heat it up to max temperature, take some draws to heat up the cooling chamber, take a q-tip and swipe off the reclaim. Pull the cotton off the plastic sticks and vape em.

So I send my Mighty to S&B and actually used a pot for vaping lately. Temperature control is a bit icky but I got so damn high, caused by lower tolerance due to not hitting my mighty every few hours.

If you carefully remove the cooling unit immediately after use you will extend the life of the unit. It allows the heating unit to cool down a lot faster than if you leave the cooling unit on.

The plastic on the heating unit goes soft and cracks after prolonged heat exposure.

I bought it here

www.go2burn.com

How do i register my product and begin my 2 year warranty?

With no removeable battery it's just a matter of time Before it goes...all batteries do

And what do you mean carefully remove

What do you mean carefully remove the cooling unit? The thing that twist off that allow me to put the trees in?

Is there a certain amount of time i.should wait before opening it up?

Is there a certain ammont of time i should vape for?

Are there any videos that show you how to clean it?

Any items i should buy for maintenance?

Vape critic has a good cleaning video. But there are simpler methods described here and in the Crafty thread. Use a Magic Eraser to occasionally clean your oven. Open your cu and soak it in 99% ISO for 15-20 minutes. It's easy to put enough ISO in a Baggie and drop it in a small bowl of very hot water. When done, rinse the cu in water, wipe/let dry, and reassemble. You should be good to go

And to answer your 1st question...yes. The comment about carefully removing the cu is because that's the most common location for the plastic case to break.
