UK CBD concentrate myth?

Sorry for the long essay. The question is simple though really. Im in the UK and I want safe and effective CBD that I can vaporise. Is this even possible and worthwhile? Or is it just a myth peddled by greedy fat cats?

I am trying to cut down on how much cannabis I consume; as to be frank I am a pot head, and it can get in the way of day to day activities. I wanted this mainly for day time use and social situations so as to calm my nerves and keep the stoner side of myself at bay. This is important to me as it sounds a great way to get on with my day to day life without being off my face. I'm under no illusions here; I am not expecting to get high. Although I am aware that people say CBD weed strains still get you stoned; the point for me is to not get high - or at least to be less high and more functional while still having some ritual.

Originally I was looking at getting CBD VG juice by this company... http://www.cbdgold.life/.... and then buying a mod or something that can take the juice..... is this a bad idea? Do these sort of VG juices have any inherent dangers? I read on FC (although I can't find it now after numerous searches) that vaping juice in pens releases nasties and it is safer/better to go CBD concentrates. Im pretty sure it was @herbivore21 that said this but I may be mistaken? Ive also seen some companies selling pens with CBD cartridges, and although the juice may be debatably OK; the pens that hold the cartridges look like cheap China crap. Such as https://medipen.co/

After looking into the CBD concentrates on offer reality and skepticism started to kick in. Is all the CBD BS in the UK????

I've read the CBD made from hemp is inferior to non hemp forms of CBD cannabis. Is there some logical explanation for this or is it just hear say? Assuming both are THC free; is a legal state CBD concentrate actually any different from the stuff on offer in the UK? I've read that hemp based concentrates are overly harsh. I'm not sure if there are any American companies that can import legally and within a realistic price range?

There seems to be different type of CBD hunters. Some medical, some recreational, some want a high, some do not.

My friend gave me some of his own high CBD weed not all that long ago. Although it was not as crazy as my normal Lemon Haze I would still consider it weed that got you stoned, like any other. The CBD's in the weed I consumed may have medicinal qualities, but I wouldn't have recommended it to a patient who didn't want to get high. Although I am not in need of CBD to cure any pain or illness, I do want CBD that has the lowest THC possible, and that will hopefully help me relax somewhat. This doesn't mean though that I want to vape some crappy oil made from Chinese hemp with no certification.

Maybe all the other concentrates out there contain these things but don't bother to mention. Would you guys buy this??????? As of yet it's the only thing that looks like it is worth a punt. Still not overwhelmingly convincing, but more so than any of the other products i've found.

The other concentrates on offer don't seem to offer such a full spectrum. The only one that talks about anything else rather than CBD is Endoca who have a concentrate that includes CBD-A.

Which is a big commitment really, seeing as I don't know if I will like UK CBD concentrates, or if it will even work!

I know if it's too good to be true then it probably is, but I'm keen to follow through with getting a reliable CBD concentrate to replace day time THC consumption.

I can help here guys.

Get in contact with CBD wellness New Mexico http://www.cbdwellnessnm.com . You will have to import, however their product is made in an ISO lab in Switzerland (legitimately from actual industrial hemp, but this is a pure cbd isolate so we don't need to worry about the fillers etc) and I have checked out their methodology, this is as they say, a ~99% isolate of CBD. You can mix this in with your other dabs/bowls in a vaporizer or just dab it on it's own on a nail or concentrate pen.

I would advise against use of ejuices, there is no need to hit your body with solvent vapors (from VG/PG) if you can already boil and inhale the base substance in tailor made carts (w9tech pens will work well here).

It states on another website that Medivapour e-liquid is the strongest CBD liquid concentrate in the world. That's all very well, and assuming they are being honest about thier product, I should get what I ask for so to speak.

Its actually being sold through quite a few websites, including Amazon. So it surprises me that this and all the other CBD oils available in Europe have such a lack of consumer reviews. I feel that if the products were decent then people would rave about it. But then again these products don't get you high so people won't be 'raving'!

I'd really like to know how a good CBD concentrate is made, in comparison with a bad one? It seems to me that the CBD products that are popular are the ones that are not made from hemp but from high CBD bud strains. But does using hemp to make CBD concentrate really matter if the consumer doesn't want any THC?

Maybe I could make my own. Buy a few ounces of the best hemp I can find can make a ridiculously strong concentrate into a VG or Coconut oil.

edit: @herbivore21 - that looks promising thank you for sharing. The idea of a crystal isolate seems to clarify for me what a quality CBD product actually can be. Get a COA from endoca for test results on their CBD crystals, I'll give it a once over - also ask them which extraction methodology they use or whether the product is extracted in Switzerland. I can almost guarantee you they are wholesaling from the same manufacturer as CBD Wellness NM (but seeing COA I can easily deduce), I have spoken with the manufacturer themselves and clarified the isolation method.

If they do not source from the same supplier I will happily contact them myself to clarify the extraction/isolation method. They do report 2% terpenes in this one, may be same method but a slightly sloppier job of fractioning off the cbd from the rest of the contents.

Im starting to see the bigger picture now in terms of how everything comes from the same source. After watching this video...
... it seems likely that Medivapour is made in the same way using pure crystals. They even say that each bottle is made to order. If the bottle has 700mg then you see where the profit is for them. At the end of the day, if i get the crystals I could easily make my own if I so desired.

No! You can not get high from Love CBD Oil, however much you take.

CBD does not cause intoxication. THC does, but there are only tiny amounts of THC in our oil.

I havn't tried it myself but my assumption is that that concentrates such as LoveCBD are isolates. Meaning CBD and only CBD in an isolated form. I assume that high CBD bud strains such as Charlottes Webb although low in THC, also have other compounds that may have some effect; but I may be wrong.

Also the flavour of creating a CBD concentrate from a bud strain is always going to be better than that of hemp concentrate. I can't see why imports are not available of these products. If they really are THC free. People report different things. Some say they get high, some say they do not.

Actually, it’s not so simple. This guy managed to extract the flavour from his bud, like an essential oil. So he has created a THC free oil that actually tastes like bud! I was thinking I could do this with ABV, then mix it with CBD crystals. Very long winded but interesting still. The ABV should still have the ability to be used like normal after, as this extraction doesn't extract all the Terpenes, and also doesn't extract the THC. Maybe though the ABV will have already had the Terpene extracted in the vaporiser; meaning no flavour.

Edit: Was thinking could use fresh bud to extract essential oil, then re-use it to vape or cook. But on second thoughts mould might be an issue with wet weed unless it's used for bubble hash straight after.

I'm assuming that in the USA, the remaining states where Cannabis is illegal, you can still legally buy CBD concentrate isolated from the Hemp plant without any medical prescription or trouble; where as you could not legally buy CBD isolated from the Cannabis plant, as you would need to be a medicinal patient.

The terpenes are absolutely likely to get you high mate. Remember that cannabinoids themselves are a kind of terpene! I've had friends/acquaintances report a throat burning, heady even sweat inducing hit from terpene only dabs. I certainly find that higher terpene, lower THC dabs hit me much harder than lower terpene, higher THC dabs (and I readily can make whichever kind at will!).

Even beta caryophyllene, one of the most common and prominent cannabis terpenes also found in many other kinds of vegetables/herbs/etc is known to be a functional cb2 agonist (basically, a cannabinoid).

Many different terpenes/terpenoids have different degrees of psychoactivity and kinds of psychoactive effects.

Also man I'm interested in which other processing Endoca are doing, since CO2 is gonna end up creating a crude extract and nothing like 99.92% pure cbd. They must be using some fractioning/chromatography processing afterwards, or fudging the COA (the testing looks like it is done in-house but I seriously think it is much more likely that they are just trying not to share all of their tek. There must be some isolation process after the CO2 extraction to get that end result

I don't want to have a high that makes my mind state change in the way that THC does. SO that I can go about my daily chores. I want to feel relaxed but not high. CBD I think offers this.

So I ordered some CBD gold e-liquid and a Joyetech Evic mini, as an impulsive buy. @herbivore21 was saying not to mix CBD concentrate down with anything extra you don't need; and I agree with that. But to be honest I need something I can puff on continuously, not just the odd dab.

I have to say I thought this CBD liquids effects would be hard to notice, if at all, but the effects are quite clear to me. Although the CBD Gold e-liquid taste isn't the most delicious thing i've tasted, and the device I'm using to vape it is cheap, I can see that this is what I wanted. And for sure worth me following through and upgrading. Next I'll need to find the best liquid to carry the CBD and also get a good quality device.

If you want to still consume herb but still function all day, why not just microdose...

Just enough to feel it in you, but not enough to get you high....

So has nobody in uk tried the medipen yet???

Would vaping at the point before delta 8 thc is released help???

Your jus gonna grab the good stuff and the cbd won't be touched till all the dank is gone....

What about hash, vape hash in the day.
High cbd low thc. Generally.
Cheap and cheerful, a can get an oz of beautiful hash for 60 quid...I cut thin slices and house them in cotton...
