The Benzedrine's got my teeth wiggling.
It would appear so!
Please do tell me why you are that successful with the Vaporgenie in comparison to my experience with it, Ive tried torch lighters, bics, everything it seems, and it would be the very first vape I would can if need be. I would love to hear something to try with it and give it another chance, take it out of the "backup locker"

I have an LSV (7th Floor similar cousin) and a E-Nano and IMO the LSV is better then the Nano because of capacity, adaptability and thus convenience for group use. I am not saying it is a better vape just that for larger groups I find it an easier tool to use that also get the job done well.
OK!
Logic is the theme for this day. (heat wave)

GSC = GIRL SCOUT COOKIES = very noticeable effect if you are a medical user!

I love the NANO because it's for me!
LSV is powerful and great for recreational uses!
I had a LSV however to much power for one person.
The NANO was the best for me.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
I was watching a youtube video the other day and the guy had a large number of log vapes in the background. In addition, there were a bunch of stems lying around and some of them looked thick and white. They almost looked like the stems were thick ceramic material. Anyone know of ceramic stems being produced? Maybe they were colored glass?

I know someone is going to ask for the link. Now I got to try and remember which video.

Could be nylon stems from the UD vapes, CRZ and PD also use nylon stems.

Here's a picture of the underdog's nylon stem:

@Vapor_Eyes I would like one with some design painted on it. There's s nice easy niche to fill for folks into ceramics and have a kiln. Ceramic nano stems with designs on them or different colors. Like the anti vaporizing stem with flames painted on it. They would be extremely fragile, probably more than the glass mouthpieces. I've seen a black glass Solo stem.

I'd like mine classic white porcelain, like you'd see in an old toilet :spliff:

When sharing the Nano with company, I always pre-load several stems for ease of use and convenience ...and it definitely IS NOT just perfect only with a water tool, as the Nano is unlimited in it's ability to accommodate dry without feeling harsh or hot at all! Experiment, explore, ENJOY!!!

how does it do with a silicone whip?

i see the enano is on their website for 190... is there anywhere that sellls it cheaper?

I've read well over 100 pages of this thread and haven't seen any mention of using a whip. However, I'm sure it's possible and someone has probably done it.

In my opinion it would nullify one of the great features of the nano, which is the clean air path and neutral flavor profile.

If you're simply looking to cool vapor a glass j-hook would probably be best. Some people just like whips though, if that's the case I'm sure you could easily add a long length of tubing to a stem or gong.

I think a grinder is a wise decision as to more surface space gets vaporized. The screens seem to last a long time.

I have about three stems with screens in rotation and they clean up really well with ISO. I put some ISO in a plastic container (that the stems come in ) and let it soak a couple days and all I have to do is rinse with hot water after and it's good to go. I do give the screens a few shakes throughout the soaking process. I switch stems every few days. A nice clean stem is essential to good taste. I have a fixed glass screen stem I use occasionally too. I haven't had to change out any screens yet.

I've had my Nano since May. I have 2 Nanos that I either use as a vaporizer or an aromatherapy device. If you like to leave your unit on during the day like I do, you can put a aromatherapy cup in your unit when not in vaporizing use. I have some oils with a tiny bit of water I put in the cup. Set the heat on 5 and it releases a nice aroma into the air. You would want to remove the cup and turn down the heat at night or if you left.

Thanks for your reply. How do you feel about the fixed glass screen stem compared to the metal screen stem? Does it vape as good? I worry that the stainless steel screens could emit chromium fumes that would not be good to inhale. The aromatherapy cups sound nice. When I can better afford it I want to get one and some legit cinnamon bark oil.

I find the fixed glass screen to vape just as good, if not a bit better than the adjustable screen stem. The glass both blocks and absorbs/radiates heat which gives a slightly more even roast with less stirring. It's a small difference, but noticeable.

Personally I prefer the adjustable screen stem as it gives me more parameters to play with while fine tuning my nano usage.

Edit:

If you're worried about stainless steel you should know the heater tube is made of stainless steel and has a stainless steel screen. Stainless is considered safe at the temperatures the nano uses.

yeah, thats the big thing with this decision with the ssv... im totally interested in having a whip, I hate having to always use my WPs, dry hits are good often. However, I've use a direct draw stem with the nano before and it was uncomfortable for me, My lungs are somewhat sensitive. Which brings up another question- if I do macgyver my 2ft silicon whip to this nano, will i have to hold it inverted to simulate being on top of a WP? or can it just sit on the table, heater upwards, and draw? When I used that one like a year ago the owner was making us hit it inverted (which was silly feeling tbh) for he was afraid of combustion. Anyone?

I've seen a whip set up for the Enano before, I don't know where. I had one made for my Solo I had
@Ed's TnT make a WonG and a mouthpiece. We used the tubing that's for the Herbalizer, it's real flexible and light weight.

There are many different ways we can use our Nano:):2c::leaf:

EDIT
A person could attach a whip to the Nano GonG, it would be more flavorful than attaching it to the stem.

If you're going to hit it with a whip, it should be fine without being inverted. I would use the adjustable screen and push it back at least 1 millimeter, maybe up to 3 or 4 past the standard screen depth. This is to keep the load further from the heater. Also lightly tamp it. I've had a packed stem with herb about 2 or 3 mm from the heater and let it sit for 10+ minutes and it didn't come close to combusting.

Edit: Also, a j hook will reportedly work wonders as far as cooling the vapor and making it smoother. With the temp control of the nano you should be able to find a setting that is both effective and comfortable with the dry stem. Perhaps when you used it before the owner had the temp set too high for you. In my experience, with my draw speed, the vapor starts to get uncomfortable around 7 on the temp dial. I can still get decent clouds down at 6.25 or so depending on strain. At 6.5-6.75 I get nice thick clouds that are smooth on my throat.

I use my 18mm water tool and a piece of 11.2mm OD silicon tubing cut to needed length. As a stem it works well as a whip it is a bit too inflexible, but doable. What I like about it is that I haven't broken a water tool for almost a year.

@Stu Sorry about that guys, my phone would not post, even though I added the ".jpg" to the link.

Dimmer switched, zip tied neatly to a giant cast iron "jacks" (has some weight to it). Then some cable/cord cover (slips over, real cheap), but only on the user side end.
Testing out attaching nano to stand, this is just zipped tied in, but I could hot glue it, or use real strong 1/4 inch diameter X 1/32" thick magnets (leaning towards that). I just need to embed the small mag in the stand, and then in hot glue the another to the nano (1/4 inch dia magnets).
