Dual 18650 Power House

It is a battery powered portable desktop, that's what I'm trying to explain bud. Thread is right below this one in the candidates section, its where @RastaBuddhaTao started (though @lwien started that particular thread)
If your talking about the Zion buddy , I have been following that also. It is nice but I am really interested in the dual 18650 set up. Something new and different I can add to the collection.

Haha good! Because it is dual 18650 desktop power and versatility in its own right. Why personally for me, I don't really need this powerhouse at all I think, impressive as it may be

Well I wanted to quickly give my first impressions. I don't want to oversell this but my goodness this is named powerhouse for a reason. I was worried that you would need a set of iron lungs too run this. While I'll say that it doesn't hurt I will say I had a 58(she would be cussing mad that I'm telling her age) yr old grandma hit this thing last night and she was a fucking rock star. Huge clouds from her,not RBT clouds but better than she's done with any of my vaporizers.
I ran 4 stems this morning when I got off from work and they avg. 3-6 hits a stem. I can tell you I went from little wispy first hits to huge lung busting first hits. Just depends on what I wanted. I threw my battery's on the charger(brand new out of box fresh full charge)and I was shocked to see them both around 4.05-4.04. My guess would be around .01 drain per hit +/- .01. I definitely didn't need to take my 3 sets of battery's.
Also I decided to say fuck it and pushed a load to the limit. At my 4 or 6 hit I combusted unlike I've ever combusted in any thing. When you see an ember in the dark in a 18mm stem by god you know your no longer straddling that line.
I'm going to spend time this weekend and get with my riding buddy's and see what they can do. They have 0 excuses now that my grandma friend hit the triangle of death. I know I've missed a lot and I've just barely scratched the surface. So if you have any questions or suggestions holler and I'll do my best. Real nice RBT. Real nice.

Excellent first impression HD. I do hate going over that line into combustion, but for me I would assume I would load small amounts and take 2 to 3 rips and let it go. Usually not run too close to that combustion line because I hate that taste.

I notice flavor wasn't something you mentioned. Any thoughts here compared to other vaporizers?

Taste is real good. Real good. A huge rush of flavor. Stays with the load especially 3 hits in. You get to the last and it's dissipated but doesn't have that popcorn taste. I'm not sure that's a big issue with convection powered vapes . And as far as videos I can't promise that's going to happen. I'm not comftorble where I reside to flaunt my choice on how I medicate. Sorry. I am going to have help posting pics maybe videos thanks to @phattpiggie. We've struck up a friendship due to FC. Just another cool as hell aspect of this super sweet community we all belong to.

Edit: I'm not a professional beta tester. This is my very first time (2nd unit)beta testing with RBT. So I'm not going to have that professional feel to my reviews. As you can already tell. So I hope that doesn't ruin my street cred with you all.
Edit 2- I forgot to mention the totally different affect you get from having such a condensed heavy thick vapor. It made me rethink the strain I have (I have no idea what it is). With a portable. I'm still pretty dumbfounded by this power. You better not take it for granted.

This is great, dude. No professionalism needed. Just keep trying to push its limits as hard as you can, and keep recording your findings :) I've already paid for a Zion, but this Triforce appears to be the portable I've been dreaming of for years. The RBT family is gonna be so solid.

@HD Springer I think most people come here for non-professional reviews...

I know I see it as a bonus. ;-)

Sounds like it could be perfect for a combustion-esc experience.... Speaking of which, how fine was that combustion line?? Just a touch over and *FOOF* flame on? Or?

======

I was getting rather partial to the Triangle Of Death, but TOD does sound a bit funny, I suppose. Lol.

Well I really had thought I had combusted a stem earlier but when I checked it was just charred no ash. But when I combusted It was a bit of a surprise but now I know that line not to cross. Hopefully.
I did try a whole bud and it worked real good. Great taste. Might of charred a little easier this way.

killick

But I like it!
I just got a brand new shipment from a brand new supplier and keep thinking about saving a specific strain to test when the postman knocks. But I don't think I can do it.... typical guy... ;)

Hows the button heat on this one. If you're just hitting for a short time can you feel it warming like the poor neglected 350 does.

The element from cold takes about 5 seconds to get to 1000 F. This is a "visual vaporizer" in that once you see wispy vapor you let off the gas. The there still is a small inrush of current that brings you the rest of the way to full vapor and then it cools as you complete the draw. This puts nearly all of the heater energy into the air stream instead of into the device keeping it cool and efficient. The high volume of high grade heat minimize the heat loss the the load chamber around the edges so you get more uniform heating. As HD mentioned once you get the hang of it ther is some tasty charring but it pretty easy to not combust in my experience.

The ability of this heater technology to deliver massive amounts of heat and flow almost make this a new type of vaporizing? I call it Capacitive Discharge Vaporizing.

Thanks @RastaBuddhaTao that makes it bit clearer less time on the gas should mean less heat build up in the button and hopefully good battery life which @HD Springer mentioned. I am sure HD will know more when he's a few days into it. Wish I could be a fly on the wall when his mates have a shot.

Well this is awkward :\

edit to add: After exhaustive research (looked on the 1st page of the portables forum) I see that indeed 'Lotus' is taken, and good for them I say. Great name. Dialing back the old intake in 3,2,...

Reminds me of the rips you get from a gravity bong though....hmmm.....gravity vape? Did RBT just invent a new class of vape?

This is Gold Jerry!! I'm at the point where I might ship myself with this thing. Krazy you mind? I should of clarified that I was running this thing in the dark. So I was using throat feel when I was running hot. It's usually the way I have and need to vape. So I'm not Jedi material yet but I'm not far from it.

I don't care what kind of weird baggage it comes with, just ship yourself with this unit express and i will see you both on Saturday.
