Discontinued The Grasshopper

While some might find rolling their material in a paper to load in the grasshopper ideal (assuming it's done in a way that doesn't impede airflow), I myself and along with others I'm sure, will never mix anything with my flower to use in a vape. I don't think filling it will be that big of a problem, it's just like everything else at this point something to speculate upon.

can anyone @midgetsanchez @ContemporaryShaman @TheVapeStation @slcbdco @BuzzDanklin @baltik or anyone else who has a hopper confirm or deny that the hopper will mate and seal with something like this, either with or without the silicon mouthpiece:

I'm just not sure if the angle of the bowl will match up with the hopper enough to make a seal.

Has anyone asked about the other accessories that were available for preorder such as the water pipe adaptor and oil front end? Since there will be the silicone mouthpiece, what happens to orders of the 30$ WPA? Has anyone tried asking to change the order to say the ss case?

Man as optimistic as I like to be GH doesn't seem to be really thinking about what they're doing... Do they realized if they just go in the order they are supposed to they will have just as many reviews go up if not more? + they'd get better publicity since people won't be complaining. Im just confuzzled

He stated in the video that it is a loaner (i.e he has to send it back when he is done with his review).

It's common marketing practice to send product to industry reviewers and it would be a logical use for any early repaired/refurbished warranty returns. After all, it wouldn't be appropriate to send 'refurbished/used' products to buyers unless they were marketed as such. It might even be one of the returned units that featured earlier in this thread.

Don't panic Captain Mannering.

You got it exactly right man, this was a refurb unit that they couldn't sell/ship to customers, so they loaned it to me so I could do a review on it. I should have clarified that a little better in the video.

Refurb eh? That's good to know they have the capability of repairing these defective vapes (at least to re-use them if not to re-sell).

Here's to hoping Wednesday's update is more than just "We're shipping Grasshoppers! Look at these pictures of shipped boxes!"

Seems like a poor choice sending out a refurb unit for a review.... Am I the only one that thinks this is strange?

I don't know, if it's one of the ones that showed a purple light error then sending out a repaired unit would be a good field test of their supposed fix.

I have a feeling this "heat on the lips" thing is highly subjective. Trevor and Matt claimed to Buzz that they never use the silicone mp, Buzz says only uses it for extended sessions and with groups, and now you say use it always when over heat level 2.

I'm going to wait and see for myself. When the Infinity got around many people said it was too hot to pick up and handle and I found out first hand that did not apply to me at all. Same thing with the Evo.
I wonder if there is any truth to the differences between Ti and SS? If so, I've got an idea that they could just sell replacement tips in Ti? That would be a neat hack.

Unless they had to send a refurb unit because they didn't trust sending a random one from their current stock.

Thats alright then, you can see why many of us are a bit annoyed, specifically us early backers, but I get it.
