next generation e-nails?

Glass Psycho
Im working on a glass adapter that should turn any female enail into a flower vape. Ive PM'd @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd with a picture and Ive also reached out to another glass blower so hopefully Ill have something to try soon.

Im also going to bring up my wacky ideas to The Terpz guys. They have a machinist that can maybe make some of my mad science experiments come to life. Ive done similar things in my last profession.. made crazy things that people were like "WTF" and then 10 years later someone else did it and by that time technology had caught up and people were all like "OOoooOOooOOOhhhhhhhhhhh"
Sooooo pumped

so how frequently do you clean it? what is a good temp range for the moat enail top? i haven't been really able to know for sure since im using the included ti nail from divine tribe, which is loose and isnt a tight fit at all.

Just experiment, everyone's different. I usually run it at 845F and just torch and scrape the bowl whenever it needs it.

i usually run mines at 700 and it works fine, at 850 i can hardly take a large hit. I thought the point of having a enail was to not to torch it even when you need to clean it. there are users who dont like to use a torch to clean their nail because it has a funny or weird taste afterwards.

I just dial mine up to 900, let it sit a while and scrape it out.

Me and Mrs P use ours so I clean it about once a week. Ive found the flat coil from Dnail doesnt like going to 900 so when Im using that coil, I have to stick to around 850.

I also have the divine tribe enail setup. I actually really like the ti nail. I tightened my coil up with a panavice and pliers, so its really snug on my to nail. 650°F works great. Coil withstands bending, but it can be a bit difficult understanding the physics of it and trying to get it straight at first.
Had to make the same modification to the enhale nail coil set, works so much better now

Also The orientation of the coil affects how hot it actually gets. If the end of the coil wrap is on the top, it gets more of a true reading. this is because the thermostat is at the end. Heat rises, so most accurate temperature is going to be at the top of the coil.

Do you like the ceramic enhale nail? I was thinking about getting it because it is 1/2 the price of hive, but if it's no good then I'll just go with hives.

After a week of heavy use with my replacement New-Vape dropdown it was time for a cleaning. First I tried to unscrew the metal reclaim bucket which was only screwed in a turn or so and it didn't budge even while still hot. Now I don't have a compatible wrench yet so it may have made this all moot but I didn't expect it to get stuck so quickly. Ran it in iso in the ultrasonic cleaner for a bit and then I was able to unscrew it manually and get inside. Couldn't get the tube unscrewed by hand though but I did gain line of sight access for cleaning with a pipe cleaner which is good enough for now. Had to scrape out a lot of charred resin from inside the head and in the threads for the bucket. That's why it got stuck. As far as I can tell all the reclaim in the bucket was charred as well and required a lot of scraping even after the ultrasonic iso rinse. I run my e-nail at 845F for up to 20 hours a day so maybe someone who runs it at 650F twice a day for 5 minutes will have different results. Anyway in the end I managed to get it pretty much cleaned up and will do a PBW cleaning once I get my flat wrenches. It would be cool if they included one with the product.

I didn't buy it for reclaim so I don't have an issue and it's still an improvement over the original so I'm happy for now. I'm guessing it's a heat conductor thing since the reclaim collects in my glass dropdown fine and doesn't burn at all under the same conditions. Given that I wouldn't remove the bucket either since it gives access for cleaning. I wonder if it would be possible to thread a glass reclaim bucket onto the bottom instead of the SS one. I've seen that size of threading on the Aspire Nautilus e-cig, I guess the only issue would be if it got stuck. Or maybe some sort of custom kelp clip.

The reclaim collector I designed that @VaPeD&CoNfUsEd made is seriously the best one Ive ever used or seen and Im not just saying that. The bucket is far enough away that it doesnt get charred and he actually made the dropdown slightly different than I wanted but it ended up working out well because it just drips into the reclaim bucket. Im going to get him to make me another one in 18mm at some point.

Do you like the ceramic enhale nail? I was thinking about getting it because it is 1/2 the price of hive, but if it's no good then I'll just go with hives.

First of all, Enhale is kind of sketchy. l the second I made the purchase I regretted it and got really sketched out so I started doing research on the company and it's like hardly anythings exists, yet their site comes up number 1 on google when you search ceramic enail coil. wierd ... but it seems like they have been selling their ceramic enail nail before hive even put out the ceramic enail. Took days for a tracking number during which I stressed out about losing my money lol so I emailed the dude asking whatsup and he responded immediately and said ill get you tracking asap which he did and the item proceeded to arrive in a couple days.

The coil works perfectly with the divine tribe box, same pinout :D. and Despite its shortcomings, I do really like the nail. It is currently my daily driver. I ordered the female universal nail but the 14mm gauging inside is too wide for a 14mm male.. so you would need to use an 18mm.. but even with that.. the cast is not perfectly round so it doesnt seal and it wobbles a bit.. so after staring at it for weeks i took a piece of hemp and wrapped the bottom wide part of the 14mm male joint on my piece 15-20 times till it was just a little wider than the nail's inner diameter at its widest. so this allowed me to fit the nail onto the wrapped hemp and it is holding very stable with no problems! totally rigged but fuck it ceramic is really where its at for enails and its working good for now... i wonder if their male nail is any different. I emailed the company about my issues and they never responded. surprise..

heres a thread on reddit:
http://www.reddit.com/r/enail/comments/2vc0e3/has_anyone_ordered_any_enail_products_from_enhale/

and heres some weird sheet metal company in chiliwack lol WTF this is where is gets strange
http://sheetmetalwork.inchilliwackarea.com/enhale-e-nail-electronic-nail-for-heating-oil-nail/

Enhale used to have an amazon company but now they dont.. but now enhale is being sold by an amazon company "silicon plus".. feel like enhale is just shooting for wholesale big orders

Thanks for all the info @phooka

I think I will save up the extra cash and go with Hive. I don't think the Hive will wobble (however it is a male joint, so maybe the enhale male nail doesn't wobble either), and I know Hive has great customer service from what I've experienced in the past.

There is also nothing sketchy about Hive so I feel like the $90 price tag may be justified. I know Hive uses USA medical grade ceramic, but I cannot find out where Enhale nail gets their ceramic from and where it is manufactured. For all we know it could be made in China (it looks like all the china ceramic nails, just rigged to work with an e-nail). But maybe China copied the Enhale nail design. IDK lol.

Anyways, thanks again!

I'm expecting this sweet little setup from newvape710. Apparently, I'm the first to purchase this. I bought a new 300w inverter for my car. Tailgate Dabbing! I love the built in nail and on deck Mason Jar Bubbler.

I hope you like it DS480! That is such a sweet idea and design.

I have been really really happy with all of my newvape products, especially the 16 hole e-nail. This is definitely my most used nail. If you don't have it already you should definitely get one :D They make it for 16mm and 20mm coils.

https://www.newvape.com/2701-enail-head-20mm-coil/

I feel like this 16 hole newvape nail has zero restriction. Everyone I know that has tried it (and other members on here that have purchased it because of my suggestion) all seem to agree. It makes your glass pull as intended

I just got the standard center post 20mm top in. I also picked up their ceramic insert for it. I just tested out the ceramic insert and it is awesome! Very tasty at 678F. This nail also has very little restriction if any at all. It pulls very similar to the 16 hole top. The center post is fairly large. I highly recommend this setup as well

isnt the ceramic insert a pain to get out after a couple of dabs? or maybe 1-2 grams
Idk I just got it today lol. I've only used it twice, but it's awesome so far.

If it gets stuck, all you would have to do is heat up the nail and that should liquify any residue and allow you to remove the insert with ease. This may be a pain for some, but not a deal breaker for me. Or just run your e-nail hotter than normal for a couple hours and it would probably fully clean the ceramic insert
