Love my mighty. Does your mighty leak vapor from the mouthpiece? Using 375f.

It doesn't affect the quality but was curious.

I finally got my Mighty at the weekend and have run about 8 bowls through it so far. My initial impression is that this unit will get you medicated very quickly!

Not only is the flavor really good (which amazed me, given the plastic vapor path), but there is virtually no draw resistance and it gives thick, dense hits from 180°C. The chamber is fairly small, so you can adjust the load by grinding to varying degrees of fineness. I have found filling the chamber with a fairly coarse grind gets me nicely medicated on my own. If you grind finer and fill the chamber all the way, you should easily be able to get 3 people totally floating!

I have a fairly high tolerance and other portables always just annoyed me with their wispy vapor. This Mighty is for those that want a large concentrated dose quickly on the move.

I have also been impressed by the battery life. Yesterday evening we did 4 full bowls over a few hours and the battery still had 4 of the 6 bars. Impressive!

Although it is not quite as good as my Aromed in terms of flavour or efficiency, it does exactly what it is supposed to, while also being completely portable and boasting the best battery life I have experienced in a portable.

Ding ding, we have a winner! Now to save up for the Minivap......

So I re-modded my WPA lol. No jb weld in the air path at all. As @elmomuzz said, I clamp the plastic on the glass and applied the JB Weld on the outside to make the seal. I won't be able to use it till I go back home Thursday or Friday. Thanks for clearing that up for me Elmo.

So I put a screen (Haze convection screen)in the oven and molded it to the oven to have a buffer from the direct contact with sides of the oven and the herb.

My theory was I'm hoping to reduce the conduction factor and make the convection more dominate, also to improve the flavor even more. Just a little experiment.

I found the taste was a little better IMO. I'm not saying it's a game changer but could someone else try this and see if there is anything noticeably different in your opinion?

I'll get pics up later if anyone is interested.

I thought of this because I own a Haze obviously. With their unit they promote the conduction and convection screens. So if you use the screen that lines the whole oven it's convection and the other screen that has the sides exposed is conduction. So I just implemented that same reasoning with the Mighty. I'm not saying it's right but I'd figure id give it a shot.

Let me know what you guys n gals think.

Noticed this post in the Crafty room about lotus water adapter fitting the unit. Maybe this will work on Mighty as well....

"The wpa from Lotus fits the oven of the Crafty like a glove. This gives you a 14mm connection to water. It did not seem to take any longer to heat up, after 3 deep breaths.....I am out. The wpa will swell to fit the oven diameter snugly. I would keep yer joint clean, and allow to cool before removing the wpa from the oven.

Remove the cooling chamber, then fill the oven. Slide the wpa into the oven, heat and apply. My setup stayed together well enough to pull the vape off the downstem for clearing without the wpa releasing its grip on the Crafty....."

Here is the adapter

Just bought a Mighty from vapetownusa, 20% off, $375 total. My Alfa that I bought in October stopped working yesterday, gonna return it. This made me think, at this rate how many $200 portables am I gonna run through....

What discount code did you use for the Mighty?

Hey Nick I tried this tonight with my Crafty. Haze convection screen just like you.

Not so much a fan over here.

I thought the taste was a bit diminished actually and the clouds were lighter for me.

I agree it's an interesting experiment but I don't think it helps this device in any way.

I actually don't have some if the negative feelings towards conduction like some folks have. If done right (i.e. Indica) you can get great taste, efficiency and cloud production in a conduction vape.

Interesting concept tho. Keep the ideas coming......

Thanks for trying that out Scott. I wasn't impressed either just solving some boredom now that I'm back on the road haha

ok so I think my Mighty arrives tomorrow, otherwise the day after. I can't wait to rig his up to glass and generate clouds that I never thought would come from a portable! :D

Prepare for GREATNESS!! I can't wait to go back home and finally use the shit out of my WPA for this bad boy.

My dumbass had a little too much alcohol on a cotton ball. While cleaning the hot bowl I guess some alcohol drip into the heater. Steam shot out of the bottom of the heating element and I'm pretty sure I ruined my mightys wonderful taste. I've done several burn offs but the smell won't go away. Hoping it's just smell now and not alcohol vapor, because the device is working stellar. Guess I'll have to just chance it because after using this thing for two weeks, I can't see myself using anything else.

If you are referring to the screen located inside the herb chamber. Just use a pin or pick (dental) and gently remove the screen. It wouldn't hurt to give everything a good cleaning as well while your at it.

Although, if the herb chamber is emptied after each session and cleaned regularly I imagine you could go as long as a year or more without having to change the screen.

Yep, I was just going to do that last night. I'm trying to figure out how dissemble this thing for cleaning. I don't want to do something wrong and break it.

Cleaning is pretty straightforward and requires only minimal effort. All in all I believe it should take most no more than fifteen minutes or so from start to finish. Keeping in mind, the more frequent you clean, the easier it will be each time.

Herb Chamber:

1. Brush out with included tool
2. Use warm water and/or iso alcohol applied to a q-tip and gently wipe the surfaces of the herb chamber including the screen. *Take Caution and do NOT use an excessive amount of water or alcohol when cleaning.*
3. Dry any excess moisture with a clean soft cloth
4. Done

Cooling Chamber:

1. Disassemble based on the Crafty manual
2. Use warm water and/or iso alcohol applied to a q-tip and gently wipe the surfaces of the cooling chamber until clean.
3. Dry any excess moisture with a hair dryer or a clean soft cloth
4. Check for any damaged or missing o-rings *Especially the mouth piece*
5. Reassemble
6. Done

My mighty still makes mystery smoke :(

I can draw from an empty unit, and see some vapor exhaled!
What is happening? I used some shatter on one of the pads before, seems to have started then. You think the unit could just be dirty?
