I can see the melted concentrate within the ti coil.
When I heat it up, it just bubbles, it's like its heating up the outer shell and heating/bubbling the concentrate but the rod isn't hot enough to produce vapor?
If that makes sense ..

What do you mean you can see it within the coil? Like you can see the coil but it looks "wet"? YOu shouldnt be able to see the coil bur rather a shallow pool of oil and the rod sticking up in the middle (if you have 1 coil, the pic below is with an older, larger coil)
Basically it should look like this + the top part of your ceramic rod:

I am about to pull the trigger on a persei.
Vapeworld.com has the persei T1 for $165.99 plus 20% off for mothers day.
Blazedepot.com has the older "double barrel" setup for $139.99
Which is a better kit? Sarah at vapeworld said they have the older persei models in the warehouse and the new T1 model.
We figured it out, I can either get the new T1 which I read has a capacity of only .3, or the older delta9 model with the (2) .5 cartridges.
I can get the delta9 persei and the T1 KISS cart for $148 from vapeworld shipped. I wanted to know is there any differences in the batteries supplied, or anything I don't know?
If I got the older delta9 with the KISS cart would I be ok? (I'll be using it for oils, dabs, and wax)
I like the capacity of the delta9 being 3 times the T1 when used with the "double barrel", but have never tried it myself!
Is the T1 an improvement over the delta9 in any way but the KISS cart?????? Or just a new top.
Please give me any feedback you may have, I want to know FCs opinion of the 2.
Also if it will work properly (batteries) If I get the delta9 and a separate KISS cart.
I'm thinking the delta9 "double barrel" with an additional KISS cart. Am I better this way or is the Kiss cart super amazing and the delta9 a pain in the ass because of having to fill it with the funnel and what not?

Oh I started like this but every time I filled this much it would just leak out the bottom holes and I refuse to clean it and recollect the fallen concentrate every 2nd day.What do you mean you can see it within the coil? use an 18650 or take it apart and put it back together over and over again
usually the 2nd doesnt work
is it cause its an sr74 rod

The reason I went with the newer version over the older is the titanium kiss cart. I rocks!!!! Also I have heard lots and lots of horror stories about the learning curve on loading the older version carts. The kiss cart is right there and when you feel it is time to clean. Drop it in some ISO and let it soak. Also you can rebuild it!!!! I got the matte silver and it is SEXY!!!! This is just my take as a new Persei owner and why I ended up going the route I did.

How about this, you tell me exactly what you want to accomplish and I'll tell you what route to take.
Is your end goal the Hercules sr74? Or kiss cartridge? You plan on running the Bender ?
As @THC SCIENTIFIC alluded to. If you don't plan on getting a bender or Hercules you can go with the cheaper alternatives. They will work with both the Ti kiss and old cartridges...
If you do plan or might want a herc or bender both are great options... I would probably suggest the old model and just add a Ti kiss with it.

@THC SCIENTIFIC, I am looking for a great portable vape for oil, dabs, maybe wax. I want the best portable, no extra attachments, just a stellar portable oil/dab vape for on the go. I'm hearing good things about the persei with the kiss cartridge.

What surface finish do you guys find to be the most resistant to wear and tear? (ie scratches...etc)
Silver or the colored versions? I ask because my black omi mini scratched a little when in a pocket with my keys.
Edit...also, if I pick up a persei, can I use batteries that I have for my Luna (Sony 18650 VTC5s) to operate at 3.7V? Moreover, what rod for the SR-74 would you recommend...black or white. I usually consume an ethanol extracted concentrate of hard shatter consistency.

I like the new silver persei! IMO the persei/hercules combo is the best portable oil vape! Others may disagree because it's not a compact setup but I think it's more discreet then a kiss cart having to load and reload per hit makes it more noticeable for me and a pain in the butt. The hercules/persei is my go to oil pen@Mynameismud I want to get the best EO vape I can for right now. But I want a quality unit. I'm sure in a few weeks after I get it I will be getting attachments as I become more familiar with the unit.
