Solo vs Ex Q ?

Hi people . I wish to buy a vaporizer for all place (home , park , class etc) and i don;t know what choose , i never try vaporizer and i don;t have money for 2 (home and away) . For me quality of vapor is only important and only 2 vaporizer is good for me (ex Q and Solo) . I don;t know if solo can be same at quality vape with ex Q ? If it yes , why reasons are to buy ex q (besides baloon and more space in chamber for weed) ? For what can be sacrifed portability of solo to buy ex q ? Please i need a good reply for people have both or even 1 from this .

Well, I mean if you need portability, then the EQ is out right? Otherwise you'll have to buy an EQ and a portable. The difference is the EQ has a temperature gauge that is dynamic, where the solo has 7 preset temperature. The EQ uses bags and a vapor whip like you said. The solo is just direct draw.

In terms of vapor production, people love both units. I just have the EQ and it produces good vapor. Hope this helps.

IMHO, solo all the way.
I have both and if I had to choose one it would be the solo...hands down better quality vapor and more efficient ... the cloud size is smaller tho as I use my EQ in my bedroom...

BTW, why do they sell screens with dome screens and only 2 and 2 for 5 bucks? that is a lot... I only want flat screens...would anyone be willing to send me 1-2 please??? :D

I love vapor bonging......hahaha....so bad that not enough vaporizers have a convenient bong attachment. I hate it when you have to buy these attachment and hold the vaporizer in an unnatural fashion.

Two elbows and your mini whip and your rocking that bong out the box.
Anyone who hasn't invested in some hood quality tubing I urge you to do so. The stock is ok but too damned sturdy.
I got me some of the tygon from us plastics. Sorted!

Would someone provide a link to where to buy some better quality tubing for the Airzer V-Tower? Thanks.

+1 on the link StuPot:clap:
Looks good quality stuff, and at a pretty reasonable price for 25foot. Though I believe there may be a slight difference in the OD or ID of the stock tubing for the VTower over the EQ..
I only got my upgraded stuff the other day(ordered donkeys ago, long story)anyway, I used my new tubing for whip.. so much easier and tastier IME. Blew a bag.. used the teeniest bit of it to marry the bag to the elbow so as to make it full glass all the way in.
Also it stopped the GonG twist when passin a whip to and fro where as in contrast, with the stock, I was so concerned about effin up the frost that I'd have to lift up the elbow, reposition the whip for my buddies use go then rinse and repeat.

What length do you normally cut the tubing to? I.e., longer, shorter, or the same as the stock whip. Thanks again.
The beauty of having lots of tubing is being able to cut the length that you prefer. Personally, I cut about 18" at a time for my EQ. This is the perfect length for my vaporbonging EQ setup.

Some may like to have a longer whip, and even though it adds some drag and surface area to the vapor path, the option to do so is there.

Speaking of vapor bonging, could you point me in the direction of a good starter piece of glass that works with the V-Tower? Also, what is the connection size needed for the Arizer elbow joint? Thanks again for all your help.

The Arizer elbow joint is 18.8mm, so it works with any 18.8mm glass right out of the box. Nothing more to buy (except the bong/bubbler). For starters I would probably check with was available at your local head shop, but if you're feeling adventurous, take a gander over at FC's glass threads.

If possible, would you post a picture of your set up to give me an idea? Thanks.

Since were on the subject of glass and vapor bong'ing and glass...where do you start ?

I'm pretty new to vaping, only having had my Q for a couple of weeks...so where would I start ?

Ideally, I don't want anything too large...nothing too expensive...I want something that is easy to use....and preferably something that I can purchase here in the U.K, as I don't want the customs guy's snooping...lol.

A lot of ideally's, I know...but if anyone can give me some advice it would be appreciated.

Actually pretty new to all this myself and have jumped in head first :p This is on its way

Heard people beating up on black leaf someplace on FC iif I remember correctly but a bong is a bong is a bong. I wanted something small and decent thickness, I see I buy. The trick is to stop looking after that.
I'm gonna have to sort out some pics on here soon!.. a thousand words and all that jazz!

Very nice Kommy...I was hoping for something a bit cheaper and available here in the U.K...but your glass piece is still very nice, all the same...

everyonedoesit.com has a decent selection of cheaper stuff.. as well as some Uber dear stuff..
only thing is they've stopped taking cards. Direct money transfer. So bear that in mind.
The idea I believe is minimum drag works best for milking.
So smaller is better? Am I correct someone? OBG! OBG! OBG! If we build it he will come.. hehee

I'm reminded daily why I love the EQ fan so much - heat up times are so fast with the fan engaged.

I have the Arizer V-Tower. I like to use it with the Whip Hit/Elbow Pack technique. I normally start on 190 C until the vapor becomes thin and then increase the temp to 205 C, repeat, and then finally at 220 C (depending on the quality of the material, I have taken it up to 240 C). Is this similar to how others have found it most effective? Thanks.

Many thanks Kommy, I have had a browse over at everyonedoesit...but tbh wasn't too clued up as to what I was looking for...lol...but after reading the recent couple of posts I now hope I know what I need. I need something with an 18.8 - 19mm removable bowl...so that I can connect my EQ whip to where the bowl would be on the bubbler...would that be correct ?

I see that your from my father-land Kommy (Scotland)...I'm originally from Dundee, but have been in London for just over 17yrs, now....where in Scotland are you ?

This is an old picture but it shows how I connected my first cheap bong to my EQ using stock tubing and the shortie whip for bags connected to the standard whip mouthpiece. Brings back memories, I tell ya'.
