Thank goodness it is a rainforest here... really cuts back on the fires. I mostly have to worry about earthquakes. Any words on how long the evacuation will be in effect?
no idea, they predict containment as july 16th... all hotels are full.
i planned on moving in with my brother today, so luckily i dont have to try and go back, unless my house dosent burn down and i can go back and get the rest of my things!

you guys should contact eachother, if you have not already... set something up. So sad that so much of CO is burning right now. We drove through there in '10 and there were so many dead trees from the pine beetles ravaging areas. I was concerned about the fact that there was brown dead trees as far as the eye can see in all directions out there. Maybe it's just nature's cycle, but it sucks for all those loosing homes.

I got the 18inch Straight Tube in just now. It took me awhile to unwrap it from the bubble wrap. It was the convertible version, so it came with a female/female adapter and a flowers bowl. I was happy to get the female/female adapter. It also came with some small fritted disks that you can put in the female/female adapter.
When i saw the size, I was worried the Cloud would not fit properly. Luckily, if you turn the cloud sideways it fits with about 1/2inch to spare. I might pick up an angled adapter as some point so it is not so close to the tube.
It is a really great piece. I think it will make great videos for the website. It will look much better then the cobalt beaker I was using. It hits just a smooth as the cobalt piece, even though it has significantly less water.

Get yourself a Y adapter and a stopper. Use the stopper as a carb
works awesome and you don't need to pull out the Cloud anytime you need to clear the tube. IMO works great, and you'll have spare room to use 2xClouds

I have to hold the cloud every time anyway. There is something about my brain that will not let me take my hand off the unit while hitting it. It is like I am afraid it will cause things to explode or something... even though I know it is fine.
The Y adapter is a good idea.
It really is a great piece. I can't wait to try more vaporizers thought it. I just got a viVape2 today. I am thinking about hooking up the whip to the DG.

Mission Accomplished... although I did not get video this time. I need to charge my camera battery.
It worked better then I had anticipated. I do wish viVape2 had an on/off function for the fan. I was able to get some milk clouds of vapor though with the combo.

its not, i take the SAME amount of time to clean my fritter than it takes me to clean a straight tube the same size. (god forbid its a perc'd tube....)

I have a cleaning system worked out for this thing that is easy and doesn't even need salt. Just use the hot water tap and flush her real good. Then rinse with iso, let dwell a while, longer = better. Hot water flush again then either a Simple Green soak, if I have been doing dabs, or right to the hydrogen peroxide final soak, and of course a final water rinse to finish. Thats really about it so far.
