Guys please give us feedback on the hammers, please understand we tested these and they work great, but to many oils, to many variables. We are also work on a 1200F Hammer not the top just the Hammer.

Well I tried the hakko iron ceramic heater mod back in the day but I always found it barely vaped (let alone smoked) untill you got right up and touched it, then it would smolder and smoke and charred weed bits would stick all over the heater and eventually make it look nasty. But maybe it just didn't get hot enough...

Could of been the case Joe, do you recall which model you used.

I have the Presto 980 that goes from 20w to 130w with the push of the button. It gets really hot and I do not really use it for vaping since I do not have the set up for it with the Hakko but it gets to the point where you do not have to touch the herb to combust with it.

I just remember I would turn it all the way up to 750F and it would glow for a few seconds but since it regulates the temperature it turned itself off when it got too hot...

will do boss. have an herb iron so i have a good baseline to test it against. am actually glad for the on/off top option. my current top is getting kinda...... blinky? sometimes it won't activate unless i am pulling air. am probably gonna send it in for repair once i get the top w/ the hammer, but i might hold off until the vv top comes out and try to get a discount of it instead of a replacement ;). also have a wiggling double top i haven't turned in for repair for the same reason, lol. i know, i know, if i burn out a cart w/ the hammer top, it's my bad.

No worries on the wobbly connector we will replace it. On a side not future replacements we will replace them with the heavy duty tops soon as we go through current replacement tops.

i figured, that's why i'm in no hurry. as long as it works for i now i can be patient ;)
i don't mind pre-ordering everything as i can replace it with the next best when it goes down.

Bob Loblaw,
Hell yeah, I thought we were to live with the wobble till something happens to it... Good news!
Have you got to test a double-tip(mouthpiece) yet?

what kind/size nail? if i use my h.i. w/ my 18mm cosmic nail which is really wide and flat, it'll just kinda puddle out. if i use my cup/tower style 14mm then it works. heat radiates really quickly out and doesn't transfer well to the titanium. the dimple and cup trap the heat in a smaller area around the oil. even sap works this way. was actually just hitting some bubble in ur nail and some sap in my 14mm nail w/ my h.i. just b4 i read this, lol.

it doesn't deliver as much as a dab will either way, tho. i stick to using it in the dimple tho as it traps the heat better, and that also works better with a little bubble, imo. when i say dimple i mean ur style of nails, the ones i got from ur site.

yea, in my 14 mm ti cup it works ok, in either size pyrex dimple it works well. not sure about ti cup or tower at 18, but the flat cosmic nail won't hit oil for anything. i am now having trouble typing this finding that out for you. seriously re-typed that last sentence for like 5 min, lol
:rofl::mmmm::whoa:

EDiT - in the pyrex nails the wand kinda stabs into the dimple and there is no where for the oil to escape to.
