Recommendations for a portable convection style vape?

I've been thinking about buying myself a new vape and seriously considering getting a convection style. So far all the vapes I've owned or tried out have been conduction and or a hybrid. So if anyone can give me a little feedback and recommend some good models to buy I'd appreciate it.

Desktop or portable?
You'll get a better one in a desktop model. Unless you go for a Sticky Brick.

For a battery powered, I would recommend either...

1) The firefly2 - full convection pretty damn smooth vapors

2) The Arizer Argo - it is not considered a convection vape, but if you load the herbs and allow for some space between the glass stem tube and the bottom of the oven you will get a convection effect IMHO.

For butane powered, I would recommend a handful here...

1) Any of the Sticky Brick

2) The Mistvape Essence

3) The Lotus

For the butane vapes, the quality of your vapor and experience depends on your breath work; so a little bit of a learning curve, but well worth it.

Good luck!

My convection vapes are a Tubo X, a Splinter, and a Lil Bud. Of the three I enjoy using the Lil Bud the most because the unregulated single button interface combined with the wooden build suits me. The other two I listed are box mod vapes.

i really like my splinter and also my sticky brick junior. :2c:

With the splinter you get:
  • portable
  • full convection
  • easy to clean
  • easy and fast to use (after a bit dialing in...)
  • quite heavy hits if you want :-)
useing the standard Mouthpiece, the splinter is a bit on the hotter / harsher side...

Soon there is also the SplinterZ which is bigger / less portable but has an even bigger / stronger heater...
