With all the hoo-ha about induction heaters, the dental wax tool heater has recently
been in people’s ear wax. L;)L

Then there is another contender,
made by Lucid Custom:

Custom cut enclosure displays, plus
the bells and whistles of colored LED lights.

While a heavyweight in looks, the selling price is the price itself ( you know I had meant,
“the unit itself”, right? ). HHU.

I'm going to be dependent on my vapcaps for the next 6 weeks. I know there are lists of lighters somewhere. I think I've tried most of them and regardless of price, they seem to break down quickly. I'm not going to bring them nor butane. So can someone point me to some kind of sturdy, cheap prefilled lighters that I would use and just throw away. Or recycle if that can be done?

I know you got some replies, but I wonder if anyone mentioned the one below? I don't have it but it seems like a good concept without 'maintenance'

Personally I've found all of my vertigo lighters from DV to be solid. I purge the lighter before filling and they're good. The z-plus is my current favourite, for so many reasons:
It's tiny in your pocket - it's dual pointed flame gives single flame control with dual flame heating speed - it's tough as fuck being all enclosed in a metal case - a dynamag sticks to it - it even seems to self regulate as it runs out of gas, eliminating the need for adjustment.

The only kind of negative is the smallish fuel tank. So I bought a second one for my other back pocket if needed, and sandblasted it obviously

I'm not sure about that disposable lighter conversion thing. My old jet lighters seemed to break within a couple of refills, but that was before I came here and read the butane thread and I actually got 2 of them working again with Newport butane, not the best but it was available and better than the crap stuff.

If that has normal jet lighter nozzles, surely they'd get clogged within a couple of disposables just as a normal jet lighter would get clogged within a few refills? Possibly faster as I doubt the stuff in disposable lighters is very high quality at all.

I'm confused, did one of those z-plus come with it's own case? I thought you needed a zippo to put them in?

In the US and at Dynavap the z-plus is available/ comes with the black case. In the uk I only see it as the insert.

Interesting point regarding the Soto Lighter..
Anyone used one much?

And it costs more in the UK without a case than it does with one in the US...

Are you ordering direct from Dynavap? I've always found the price savings get eaten by shipping and customs unless it's small values. Or in the case of Japanese sellers, 'mistakes' on the invoices. Always seem to be digits missed out when I buy anything from Japan, £300 worth of car interior bits came labelled as £30 worth of 'damaged 2nd hand car panel pieces'.

The z-plus insert is available for like $12 in a few places. I can’t find one with the case though.

Oof. Is that with the case at least though?

You'd have thought wouldn't ya?
But no, that's the price for just the insert :o

I forget the exact names of the 2 zplus extreme inserts but the older one with the opaque gas chamber is about £12 and the newer clear chamber one is about £19 here in the UK

Good grief. I feel like we should ship 50 of them over to you guys. It can be a charity. Torches for Europe.

When i asked DV about that lighter, they said their supplier was low on stock so they wouldn't be selling it as a stand alone item for a while. Apparently it flies out the doors when they do.
Still available as part of their kits last time I looked... I managed to get the 2torch kit with free shipping and avoid customs on my last order.

There’s a whole thread for torches guys. It’s getting off topic.

I feel this thread has dimished in quality lately. It’s moving so fast and the talk is mainly about induction heaters, torches, cars, or the latest sporting event.

It’s becoming more and more rare that a page goes by without some sort of post with little to no adition to the conversation or offtopic chit chat. If something interesting was posted it gets buried so fast that it’s hard to find.

I remember when the thread was about the vape and was less of a “hangout”.

I’ve been enjoying my stubby vapcap and ashcatcher combo lately. It’s by far the most pleasing and smoothest vape experience I’ve had in a long time. The blue cobalt glass accents match my flame blued Gen four tip quite nicely.

I’ve had to run a combo of shatter and bud for a while because I have lots of concentrates but not a whole lot of flower. I’m finding that I’m having quite a lot of oil getting pulled through into the stubby stem. This is likely due to me storing the piece upright in the glass rather than cap down.

Anyone else getting vapour condensates dripping down from their tip if it’s stored vertically?

Torches and IH off topic,, I don`t even have a smart arsed comeback for that. Try using you Vapcap in the real world without either.:disgust:
Instead of having a grizzle if you think something is off topic, hit the Report button and let the mods delete it if they agree with you.

I see your silicone bong and raise you the CoffeeMugPipe. Now we need to get the creator of this together with George from Dynavap to build it into the induction heater.

Seriously, you can have 12 oz of coffee in this baby, PLUS bong water separately, and extend and collapse it full. Stick an induction heater on top and I'll marry it.

Touché. A hole in one.
However, @60 dears, I’d rather gat a 1/4 ounce from the Rasta man, and be happy for weeks!

Alive, and well, in Stockport.

I do like this concept, a sling and a toot ( if only the taster had an ID of 8, or 10mm )

Bought an M2018 two months ago, this has been life changing :)
I enjoy micro dosing and used to use a stinky glass pipe and spliffs. I reside in a non smoking environment
and M allows me to dose away at night in bed.
So..... just in case I loose my M I purchased a Nonavong today, it has the titanium tip which I can't wait to try.
Dynavap has invented the miracle device, and I still get to play with fire.
