Vaponic Herbal Vaporizer

Thanks to Omnivap's air-vapor-ratio control I’m now seeing it under a new light: you can pull it out and make it touch the mouthpiece on purpose, thus reducing the additional ventilation/cooling air circuit and receiving more concentrated vapor. That said, I still believe that the ideal position/ratio is the one we had found to be the best in hundreds of tests and therefore always recommended. Still, what used to be a problem is now an option for the a-v-ratio control and funnily enough it works very similar to Omnivap's a-v-control by adjusting the position of the inner tube (condenser) :-) I might upload video to showcase what I mean.

Yes, thanks for this hint. If you let the inner tube slide up the silicone until it makes contact with the mouthpiece, you increase draw resistance and get much denser (but also harsher hits). I had tried removing the mouthpiece before, but was always afraid to lose it that way. This sliding, however, increases the vaponic's suitability with water tools.

is there any chance the Loxlux heating lamp will be revived? - such a nice design idea, i need one for my living room

The Loxlux was not very popular unfortunately. Probably the fact that you could heat up to 6 Vaponics at the same time made people think that it was more than they needed (although it perfectly worked for one, too). The pricing was another issue, but we thought that the lamp-design woul be appreciated. We recently tested some low-budget solutions which actually worked pretty well. But we're in the very early stages of development...

Or something like @ander suggested here.
HI! I still use it, it's really cool... I mean the station, yes... but the Vaponic also. Lately I only use VapCap and Vaponic, the first with torch (but I'm now on a @Pipes Induction Heater... couldn't resist...) the second with the station. Vaponic has his own way to medicate me; my impression is that due to the greater airflow, it tends to dilute the taste maybe (it's easiest to concentrate vapor with the VC for me), but seems to multiply the effect... or it is maybe a matter of lower temperature? Don't know exactly and don't care much, but I feel a marked difference.

Hi there, Ladies & Gentlemen!

I had the chance to buy a Vaponic Plus together with another used vape and I must admit that I really like it. This will probably become one of those devices that made it into the rotation. Great, great flavour, incredibly smooth and much easier to use than I anticipated. Good stuff! :)

Indeed, having used a bunch of other butane torch driven vapes certainly helps to have a great first experience with the Vaponic. I just had my third bowl with it and each one was very nice and pleasant. The wooden housing is great to minimize the risks that you normally have with an all-glass device. I am really happy that I have it! :)

I just perfected a new method for traditional hash, esp the softer ones, keeps it clean and no need to recrumble etc :):
Use a rectangular screen cut to 9x30-35mm (i got some 30x30cm SS sheets with various sizes...)
place 5-6 little maybe 12mm long and 2-3mm thick 'sausages' light diagonal on it and press them flat onto the screen, so there is still a little 'air channel' space left between them.
Then just roll it up like a swiss roll (with the screen on the outside of course ;) )
Almost like hash capsules (or hash screws :D) for on the go if u make a few...

my reading comprehension is out the window already, this early

(took 2 sick days off, sick as a dog, in bed. upside is the very rare wake and vake. downside is an inability to follow simple instructions lol)

i was about to try this yesterday,but i couldn't quite understand...can anyone clarify a little bit? :)
hm, i'll try - take a stripe of screen mesh eg 10mm high and 35mm long
then make a little spaghetti of hash and cut it into little pieces maybe 12mm
place those pieces onto the screen like this: / / / / / (straight like this works too I I I I I but is 12,3456% less efficient by my testing)
then press the hash onto the screen with fingernail or something flat that it sticks onto the screen
then roll it up this way -> / / / / / (lay a little piece at the beginning and fold it over to start rolling up easier) just like a battery cell is rolled up, anode is the screen and katode being the hash :D
u should end up with a small cylinder 10mm high and ~8mm diameter

This week I searched everywhere and every-way I could think of but couldn't find a Vaponic for sale by a vendor in the USA (someone who doesn't have a internet connection asked me to order one for them) now it seems you can only order one from Europe these days so I went directly to the Vaponic/Solwe webstore.

Now getting replacement parts could get expensive.

Grasscity.com has them but it's like $59, a few months ago they were selling for $20 less if I recall correctly

Hello, I did one session on my new Vaponic+ with load of leaf this week and it was very nice. I tried it with hash last night using the Vaponic method on their video. I rolled up a sausage of black hash in the screen and gave it a go. There was no bubbling or smoke/condensate but it had been heated long enough. The resulting exhale clouds on two draws were fairly minimal, but I got the taste and noticed the effects. After a third effort produced little results and since this narrow pencil-lead sized sausage represented at least two evenings' with for my lightweight needs, I took a look at the load. It had not changed much at all, so I flattened/fluffed it and rolled it up again. I thought to apply more heat even the though the wooden cover on the heated end had gotten really hot on the first efforts. I did at least 30 seconds with a low/medium flame on my triple torch until I became worried about combustion. There was still no visible sign of vaporization, but I took a good draw on it. I felt nothing to indicate that I would exhale the thickest, continuous cloud I have ever done:) At that point I worried that I had combusted it all, but realized it could not be, because it was so mellow on the lungs. So THAT worked :)

But aside from potentially ruining the load, is there any consequence from overheating the glass? It was quite hot and the metal ring on the wooden cover was too hot to touch.

Cheers!
Glen
